Any recommendations on how long I should cut to make a shoebox sized one of these? These are perfect for pencils, but I have a gift that's basically a mini bouquet of Rose's and a scroll of art.

Love the idea of this but it doesn't work. When the paper for the inside box is the same size as the lid....the lid will not hinge over the box. I love so many of your ideas but in practice....there are quite a few that don't work.

I suppose that can happen, especially if using small paper.. although I’ve folded this box many times without it happening. In practice, it takes practice. 🙂 maybe try again with larger thin paper, or adjust some of the folds of the hinge area.
