I can't be the only one who thinks marrying your own changing is super interesting, right? Is that from myth or original to the series?
Original to the series, in myth is just your kid has a chance of being swapped with a faerie hence why they act weird, and was used to explain away stuff like autism.
@ahkilleuskosmos6836 that's kinda cute in a way that your child with autism is actually a humanoid fae. Oh but maybe not cuz according to the myth it means this is a fake so they probably didn't treat them well. But that's interesting nonetheless 🧚♀️
Some of the lore suggested that the fae did that in order to make their own children stronger and improve their own genetics. The human world would make a fae physically stronger and human blood raised in the fae land would improve the fae bloodline.
