Tbh the practical element of casting eternal pyre in my cap was far more basic: my pretender had to do it The cynical element was that if I lose my cap I'm dead anyway 😛
Well now I want to play MA Marignon, those angels are sick. Also personally I despise Ulmish arbalests, I think they are waste of money and resources. Your mages do the ranged firepower for you, for all that gold I'd rather get more forts up. Firing every 3 turns and not hitting side of the barn, actually having high chance of friendly fire too against the frontline... So bad.
I wonder - why did you keep one draconian for the soul slay trap? It *could* have - unlikely, but it COULD have - landed right behind the Panic Apostate and bonked him to go home and ruined the whole setup.
Love this series as a complete noob listening to 3 high tier players
GOT HIM

I might have missed it, but our sacred mages have extra help surviving Winds of Death due to the Unaging bless.
Also the MR in the bless!
:] Great when the pre-game plan comes together. I just wish I could put together my own haha

I think MA Pythium has those angels too
