Have you tried VERY GOOD GIRL (red shoe)and Very Good Girl Glam (pinky red glitter shoe) and Fame ? apparently Bronze Goddess Nuit (dark/black? bottle smells great....
I don’t find paradoxe beachy at all, interesting! People have been saying it’s similar to My Way and I could never stomach My Way, but I love Paradoxe and it does something for me that other white florals don’t
I wasn't head over heels with Paradoxe when I smelled it. I didn't find it original at first but I also couldn't understand the comparisons to My Way because it has such a prominent bubblegum note that I just don't like and I don't find this on Paradoxe thankfully. I grew to like Paradoxe though, you can't be mad at it just because it's not that original. It's still beautiful, inoffensive, feminine, soft and classy.
Alien goddess intense worth a try, because is nothing like Alien goddess and the coconut is not so prominent. I personally feel more the vanilla and soft jasmine vs coconut
I, too, get sick to the stomach when I wear Libre. But only when I spray too much or the weather is really hot. But I love the scent enough to keep it in my collection. Thanks for this video. Hope you get better soon!!
I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by the J'Adore one! The original one is very nice, but this one has this freshness to it and made me reach for it during LA's summer heat wave. Yeah it is a little basic, but I find it's a bit like an elevated basic......like a classic white tshirt that I'd be willing to pay a little more for the better quality fabric and stitching, if that makes any sense to anyone lol An approachable sophisticated scent, for sure.
Always so wonderful to hear from you. I personally was so pleasantly impressed with YSL's Le Parfume, I'm grateful I purchased and it has been everything I've wanted - sweet and sensual sophistication without being utterly gaudy or offensive. Hope that perhaps it'll be something you enjoy in the future, I'm in my 30s for instance and perhaps a different life stage or aesthetic choice makes a difference? Who knows! I really enjoy your perspective and find it fun to see what appeals to others Also, love that you're rediscovering the desire and passion for exploring perfumes again, looking forward to your next videos!
I’m also in my 30’s, I think it’s just the scent itself. However I keep hearing good reviews about it and maybe it’s worth getting a sample and trying it at home. 🤔
@@thesimplechiclife Perhaps! I found it wasn't as powerful to my nose as everyone else is claiming (I had hoped it'd be even more intense actually) so its fascinating how our bodies and preferences react to different perfumes
I really don't know why but I'm happy you're back at filming in your bedroom 😅 for some reason I much prefer this setting then the kitchen table . Loved the video ❤
Prada Paradoxe is a beautiful fragrance. It gave me the worst headache though the second time I wore it, and I haven’t worn it since 😔. I’m sure it’s because I sprayed a little heavier the second time, so if/when I wear it again I’ll have to spray lightly.
Paradoxe is a paradoxe indeed! It smells so good to me a few minutes after I spray it, but in an hour or so all the good notes fade away and I’m left with a bitter smell (that also somehow makes me nauseous🥲)
Feel better, Ilythia! I've had the flu since Wednesday and trying to recover. I don't have "C" this time around, thank goodness, although I feel pretty miserable just the same.
I discovered (the hard way) that my skin doesn't agree with lavender and orange notes. I can't wear Libre or BBW Fairytale. They smell really nice but the notes do me dirty on my skin 😪
The Burberry Her Elixer is very Amber dominant so much so that it will burn your olfactory system if you overspray. I oversprayed it and tried to sample other perfumes afterwards and couldn't smell them properly because Burberry Her Elixer burned my nose!
Noted 😅😅 I am heavily considering this one! I love the original (strawberry in general) but vanilla doesn’t stick on me so I was considering over spraying if I had to. Will NOT dare do that!
@@thesimplechiclife i don't know what in it burned my nose but im guessing it was the strong Amber, I even tried smelling my signature scents after like my Si Fiori and Nuit Blanche and they didn't smell right, so my olfactory nerves were definitely totally burned from the Her Elixer, it didn't go away for several hours, it was so weird! Its such a strong scent, I sprayed it on my Halloween costume and i can still smell it on it! But granted i drenched my costume in the fragrance 😆 anyways i don't even know if i want to keep it, its nice, but too strong
can I ask you I ordered 2 miss dior 2017 and it's batch 2019 and i still have the one im using rn do you think it's okay to have it as a back up will open it after 2 years or smth or it will go bad before i use it 3: 🌹🌹
If you wrote it out of light and in a cool place it will last longer. I can’t promise how long it will last. My open miss dior started to smell a bit off after about 2.5 years
Wow covid hit you really bad! Since the original variant I don’t know anyone who has lost their smell. My daughter thought she had a cold but it was covid. She had a runny nose & a sore throat for a few days but that was it. She was better in a week. So interesting how everyone is affected differently. I started taking precautions again if around large crowds. I totally get how a fragrance can smell nice but give you a headache. BDK Gris Charnel and Creed Wind Flowers give me headaches and make me slightly nauseous. Hopefully you feel 💯 soon! Hang in there! 🙏🏼♥️
Wind flowers for me was also massive headache land! And yes isn’t it crazy? This thing is hanging on forever. I’m looking forward to being through it :)
that's so funny you say that about ysl libre because i love it on other people but i bought it for myself and had to return it because it was nauseating when i put it on
My mom uses the very cheap body lotion from the brand nobody heard about and it smells exactly the same as the new Jadore... So for me the new Jadore is big no no because for me it smells like cheap lotion
Hey guys! 💕 let me know if there are any new releases you’re not particularly interested in! 💗

@Christina Marie I totally agree with you. I love it! If Alien and Valentino had a baby vibes. Hehe
My way smelled like Dollarama pink box dryer sheets, I am sure Prada Dior knew what they were doing, it is it’s own and I love it.
I agree, it smells so good and I’ve gotten compliments almost every single time I’ve worn it, and that too from random people when out and about.
Don’t understand the My Way comparisons either. I own both and I’d argue that Paradoxe is far closer to Libre Intense than anything else.
Could you start a series like ’what I wore last week’ I always find those interesting and fun to watch :)
Definitely!:) I will do my best to do that!
Alien goddess intense worth a try, because is nothing like Alien goddess and the coconut is not so prominent. I personally feel more the vanilla and soft jasmine vs coconut
I agree, I barely get coconut in the intense version
I could listen to you talk about perfumes for hours! Love this video 💗
Thank you 😊

I have and do not like Burberry Her Elixir. Something goes almost sour on me. I also had and decluttered the original.
I LOVE Jadore l Deaux. It has no alcohol in it. It is natural, clean, with no icky chemicals!
I really don't know why but I'm happy you're back at filming in your bedroom 😅 for some reason I much prefer this setting then the kitchen table . Loved the video ❤
Agree with Prada! I bought it but had to return it irritated me so much. I think it's the neroli.
Idea for a film: my fragrance taste journey, just a chill talk about evolution od your taste thrughout the recent years

I agree I knew it would give me a headache right in the store :/ otherwise I do think it’s very pretty
yea something about it really irritates me I had to return it
I’ve never been a libre person but I like la parfum. The honey and the sweetness makes me love it.
I’m tempted to go smell it again after seeing some positive reviews of it. I wonder if I’d like the dry down on skin? 🧐
My fave from V&R is flowerbomb nectar ! I never liked the OG. Marc Jacobs perfect is definitely a good easy grab and go, plus it lasts a long time !
I love Prada Paradoxe.

@@thesimplechiclife I've been taking slippery elm capsules and they're making a big difference!
I used to wear the original J'adore all the time years ago. But through the years my taste has changed and it doesn't suit me anymore.
I agree with every single fragrance you mentioned. Can you talk about the new Marc jacobs paradise?
I think it’s the orange blossom in the YSL Libre that is nauseating 😅
I agree!!
Libre makes me cough … every time I try it, even when I spray 1 spray it just gets in my throat and I cough

have you ever tried tocca colette? interested to hear your thoughts
I believe I have at some point but I’d love to try it again!
Very curious about this one, too.
From the new releases I only recommend are : Olympea SOLAR , Lancome Idole Nectar and NR Musc Noir Rose :)
Something in paradox smells like vomit to me like not intitially but after it dries down. No idea why

Can you please review sweeth tooth by Sabrina Carpenter? And the 2 new Ariana Grande fragrances? 🤍

How do you feel about Estée Lauder fragrances I like youth dew
I can’t recall how they smell I think at the stores I’ve been to a lot of the testers were sold out but I should really do an Estée Lauder haul :)
Youth Dew is AMAZING if you like Chanel Number 5! The spicy amber cousin.
