He was depicted as almost ESPECIALLY old, even compared to the other worker monkeys, but it would make sense that only Scar King and his most loyal guards would get "mating privileges". Edit: And given how old these monkeys are, could easily be that Granddad had the daughter millions of years ago before Scar King fully rose and took over or was another Ape Tribe captured and put to work by him.

Fun fact, giant humanoid robots already exist in the monsterverse. In one of kongs comics a crazy millionaire creates a mech called the titan hunter, complete with electric shockers and a giant claw hand. Kong may have destroyed it and the pilot killed but they could very easily get those blueprints and create more of these

I took "a monster who ate a star" to mean he has a nuclear battery within him. They may not have understood nuclear power, but a giant lizard shooting energy beams sure looks like a sun.
or there is a evil godzilla that took bad radiation and it took combined efforts of titan to banished that evil godzilla into other world dont remember the name but there is a evil godzilla
The crystal on Skar King's whip is pretty clearly part of Shimo's body, not a meteor. And Skar King doesn't use it to "communicate with her telepathically" it just causes her pain. He uses it to force her to submit to him. These points were spelled out pretty clearly during the film... were you watching a different movie?
This is the first time in a while where I have to go “that theory stinks.” This focused on just the crystal details rather than the developing themes, involving arrogance of nature, or the planned structure of the Monsterverse. There’s already been 2 mechs in the Monsterverse. Implementing ones that are meant to be more permanent just seems redundant. There were also several inaccuracies in the video, like Iwu instead of Iwi, Suko’s dad, and saying the comics may not be canon when they were stated to still be after the timeline confusions caused by the Monarch show. While Spacegodzilla is likely, so is Gigan, as he’s been in a few spots. We also have to consider that if we want a full team-up movie, we have to think of a character that will be a challenge for even Shimo. If Lee’s speculating the asteroid that hit Godzilla (which was the one that killed the dinosaurs, so he’s over 60 million years old) caused the crystal formations, it seems false, since it wouldn’t have hit the Hollow Earth. Plus, Legendary likely wouldn’t release a movie with big license issues until they got the permission, so there shouldn’t be any need to implement only Pacific Rim. While a crossover is likely, it would likely just be a spin-off for both franchises, in which they also have to buff the jaegers because they stand no chance atm. Considering the universe’s planned structure, we believe GxK 2 wants Godzilla to be the main character rather than Kong, and Legendary wants Godzilla, Kong, and Mothra to have mainly independent movies. I can imagine for Godzilla’s solo adventure, it can just be a quick catch-up where he Final Wars style has to fight the titans on the surface. We can get a Rodan return and a Gigan appearance. People really want Biollante, so maybe he can team up with Mothra for that fight, since they’re lovers. For Kong, he can still explore much more, no questions there. Suko can be a buddy for this adventure. Shimo can join at first but be prohibited later by some capture or whatever; she’s just too op for a Kong story. For Mothra, it sounds like they might do a prequel, but she is definitely capable of a modern adventure, maybe just bring in Battra. While I think Spacegodzilla is the candidate for GxK 2 as a space threat, it’s not for just the crystals. Ultimately, everyone hopes the universe climaxes with Destoroyah, though even he might not be too hard for Shimo, so he’d have to be adapted to be even stronger.

4:24 bold of you to assume I forgot about the sacrifice that Dr. Shirazawa made to boost up Godzilla giving his life to power him up to fight King Ghidorah at the end of KOTM
A few mistakes in this video, like calling that Kong that Skar King kicked into the lava Suko's dad when there is little proof of that and more proof that Skar King is Suko's actual father, the fact that the natives of Hollow Earth are called Iwi (not eewoo), the fact that Film Theory pointed out that Serizawa wasn't in Godzilla x Kong as if they thought people who had actually been following the series would forget that HUGE plot point where he literally sacrificed himself for Godzilla, and the fact that when he mentions contradictions to Godzilla: Awakening, he shows King of the Monsters when it was actually Monarch (a show contradicted by the movies themselves, so make of that what you will) that contradicted Awakening. I know these are minor nitpicks, but I hate it when big channels come in like they know some stuff when they don't.
Skar King's crystal did not control Shimo telepathically, it merely forced her into submission through pain, specifically directed headaches, and she did his bidding for it to stop.

Couple issues with this one: 1. Entire theory hinges on the Iwi (NOT "Iwu") describing a meteor. Its just as likely theyre describing a nuke which while it didnt "create" godzilla like in the original lore, it did wake him up. 2. The crystal is NOT mind controlling Shimu. In fact, its outright stated Scar King is controlling Shimu with pain similar to a shock collar. 3. The crystal originated from Shimu. 4. Dr. Serizawa has been dead for awhile and it was a big plot point, bad example 5. The comics have explicitly been stated to be canon. 6. The baby monkey is actually a child of Scar King. Who is implied to have multiple children in a harem type situation. The "father" was actually just a caretaker. There are few theories that I'll say flat out "this was bad". This was one of em

Space Godzilla was created by Biollante's dust particles (Biollante has Godzilla's dna) which went to space, and got stuck on a blackhole and fed off a star's radiation.
In a previous kong comic thats cannon to the monster-verse its said that the term " swallowing a star " is a term used by the iwi people to describe Godzilla's atomic breath
"In an interview, Guillermo del Toro noted that Jaeger's size was determined as they compared images of robots, ranging from 30 to 150..." "Size. In Godzilla (2014), Godzilla is 354 ft (108 m) tall. In Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Godzilla vs Kong (2021), his height is increased to 393 ft (120 m) tall." The robots need to at least tripple in size.
@@blahthebiste7924 That's just a testament to how well they made the kaiju and jaegers feel large in the first Pacific Rim. It's also what made the 2014 Godzilla and more recently Minus One feel so good. Sure, canonically they might be larger, but by making them move so fast, we lose that sense of scale.
13:38 There actually are already jeagers in the monsterverse In the monsterverse comic called Godzilla X Kong: the hunted there was a jeager built in the hollow earth, wich got destroyed by kong. Like this so more people know
The remains of Titan Hunter were probably found by Monarch after they got no word from Martin, so they might make a Jaeger or something like Jet Jaguar out of the technology.
Now it's just a theory maybe they reuse the model for the blueprint It's a cheap solution it won't cost any extra money and they can just say it's a neat reference if it if anybody looks at it
Wait! Theory suggestion. What is wrong with bingo? In Bluey, there is an episode called bumpy and the wise old wolf hound (or something like that). In it, bingo’s family make a video with a life lesson that everyone gets sick, and send it to her in the hospital. I don’t know if this was a one time occurrence for bingo but I need to know what is wrong with her!
Still love the video and still take my like and comment- just feels a little like this video wasn’t made for or by a Godzilla or at least monsterverse fan tbh. “Suko’s dad”, “Iwu people”, “you probably didn’t notice Serizawa wasn’t in the film”, and countless “yeah I know this is dumb, buuuut”-eqsue comments. Humanity: "We are gonna build giant robots to stop the Titans from destroying our cities and lives or we can just go and eliminate them ourselves." Godzilla: "Since you have chosen to defy peace, then you have chosen war with a god"
small nitpick, space godzilla is not godzillas dna merged with a crystal alien, its simply the combination of godzillas dna being launched into space and absorbing radiation from stars
Wouldn't it be cool if Spacegodzilla did come and mind controled Godzilla, and Kong and Shimo would have to try to break him from this mind control like in the New Empire.
You may be wrong on the whole shimo being mind controlled by the scar. I remember seeing scar roar and point the crystal away from shimo, directing her to attack Kong. Idk man seems less like mind control and more like the crystal is an invisible whip.
I feel like pacific rim 2 kind of secured that pacific rim is not coming back for anything, or pacific rim 3 would probably be out. Godzilla will probably never collab with it, the story doesn’t make it seem like we need it. It’s probably just Easter eggs

14:40 or..or Instead of Jaeger pilots or Jaegers entering the Godzilla universe, what if Godzilla accidentally ends up in the Pacific Rim universe, perhaps through a portal like the one used by the Kaiju aliens in Pacific Rim? Considering the destructive nature of the original Pacific Rim Kaiju and Godzilla's role as a guardian of nature, what would happen when they meet?
16:58 pink space godzilla made me realize that the "the monster who ate a star" perfectly describes godzilla's latest stage in evolution because the stockpile of radiation and energy at tiamat's new lair is made from solar winds(from the sun) so its technically direct solar radiation that godzilla used to evolve into the new form. he (sorta) literally "ate a star".
although, posibly one way to connect the movies is that the Precoursors, which are in another universe, set up a Breach in the Monsterverse, send in a Knifehead, he gets his but eaten, and somehow in the invasion of the precurser dimension set up in Pacific Rim Uprising sends a Jager to the monsterverse, setting up the crossover.
Theory, the writers leave the people stories so when the monsters appear the viewers appreciate those moments more than if the film was 100% monsters fighting

10:42(ish) - i only know two things about Godzilla-related stuff: One is that the iconic roar was made by sliding a resined-up glove down the strings of an upright bass or something like that...but Two is that the monster in this "1998 disaster" is not even recognized as "(a) Godzilla" (cuz there are Many kaiju who share the name-lineage, but This one isnt one of em), they only call it 'Zilla'... ...and thats so poetic to me, because it sounds like Toho is saying something along the lines of "We lend you one of our most prized IPs, and THIS is what you did with it? then we will call your version Zilla, since apparently there is no God..."

While watching the new Godzilla X Kong movie. In my head, Rio is absolutely doomed. They were talking about how dangerous Godzilla was after he absorbed Tiamat. Well, Godzilla just unleash his atomic breath all over Rio and also just how radiation spreads from its source, That city might as well be the sequel to Fallout.
Gipsy Danger is a 3rd generation Jaeger, doesn't make much sense for its arm to be the first Jaeger representation in the Monsterverse. It would have made more sense to have the arm of a 1st generation Jeager like Cherno Alpha.
I think the next movie could be a Mothra film. There was a Mothra trilogy back in the day, and whereas Godzilla and Kong have already faced what you could consider their ultimate adversaries (King Ghidorah and the Skar King respectively), Mothra could've come back in time to face hers, whether that's Battra or something else. This is mostly coming from the end credits of the film: the last thing we hear is Mothra's cry.
First, you don’t even pronounce the name of the tribe right. Second, you have no grasp on Godzilla lore you seem like you’re making a theory after watching a video on Godzilla made by somebody who doesn’t know anything about Godzilla. And third your title is dumb. The next Godzilla movie could be their last? You don’t support that in the video and space Godzilla is not Godzilla endgame monster it’s destroyah
You would think scar king would be smart enough to keep his whip and the wand that controls shimu separate. If anything he should just use the ice pick as a dagger, not fling it around at the end of a whip where it could get ripped off.
i will say, theres something that connects these two franchises even more. In one of the comics theres a mechakaiju that looks oddly similar to the pacific rim robots, the Titan hunter.
Brother you gotta either write better jokes or something cause that human thing came off so condescending, especially coming from someone who referred to the Iwi as Iwu. Claims his audience doesnt rememebr Serizawa dying (we do it was literally the catalyst for Godzilla's survival) but can't even proofread the scripts he writes and/or reads.
Truth! I love how everyone has been saying the same thing with Godzilla X Kong eventually having the humans interefere and there was one maybe moment with the characters wanting to post footage of the Hollow Earth to let the rest of humanity know that it exists, which would give the world an opportunity to make mechs and pilot robots down there and maybe build a civilization of their own down there similar to the Avatar movies with the humans wanting to conquer all of Pandora and start mining for their resources. It's going to be very interesting to see how they tackle all of this Hollow Earth stuff with humanity in the next Godzilla X Kong team-up adventure and I am all here for it! 💯

His adopted father before Kong was gnarled finger (his supposed “caretaker”)
skar kings crystal doesn’t give skar king control over shimo it literally says in the dialogue that skar king controls shimo with pain
I would honestly really like if Space Godzilla managed to be brought into the Monsterverse. It’s something I’ve kinda want to see in the series.
Something I've wanted since childhood
13:38
There actually are already jeagers in the monsterverse
In the monsterverse comic called Godzilla X Kong: the hunted there was a jeager built in the hollow earth, wich got destroyed by kong.
Like this so more people know
I kept expecting them to bring this up and he never did
The remains of Titan Hunter were probably found by Monarch after they got no word from Martin, so they might make a Jaeger or something like Jet Jaguar out of the technology.
@UTTPisBetterThanDannoCal Bro doesnt get enough attention at home

Hey
Thanks
Now it's just a theory maybe they reuse the model for the blueprint
It's a cheap solution it won't cost any extra money and they can just say it's a neat reference if it if anybody looks at it
3:47 that's not mini kongs dad
Its his caretaker.
Skar king is sukos father
It’s mini Kong’s adopted dad (basically)
I think no one saw Dr. Serizawa…… because he died in KOTM.
The thing with the jeagers is that they are pretty small compared to Godzilla and you can see they won’t stand a chance with their powers showing why
Feels like a slight immersion break in that trademarked Film Theory enthusiasm and care. Hopefully this comes off as constructive and you’re the best ❤
Humanity: "We are gonna build giant robots to stop the Titans from destroying our cities and lives or we can just go and eliminate them ourselves."
Godzilla: "Since you have chosen to defy peace, then you have chosen war with a god"
I love what the new guy is doing with film theory, mat pat choice the right person
The boys aren’t even comprehensible anymore, wow
Not to undermine any of the new hosts but it's still Mat doing all the scripts and everything, it's just someone else reading what Mat would have said

IKR 💀💀😭😭
small nitpick, space godzilla is not godzillas dna merged with a crystal alien, its simply the combination of godzillas dna being launched into space and absorbing radiation from stars

Wow. Dune Part 2 has been more successful than I thought.
I've literally watched the film again about an hour ago, and I'm now watching this.

I sure hope no bots come here
You get ads? Why not use Sponsorblock and Ublock origin?
I don't think MatPat would have called Godzilla, dumb. He is big but he isn't dumb.
It's Iwi! Not Iwu!
bots, man. they can't do anything with their insecurities.

Wouldn't it be cool if Spacegodzilla did come and mind controled Godzilla, and Kong and Shimo would have to try to break him from this mind control like in the New Empire.
Godzilla suplexing kong after mistaking his cry for help will forever live in my head
I would say at best a comic crossover like what they did with DC if they were to do a collab
Right when I opened youtube this video showed up
me too

It's crazy to think that the MonsterVerse might be heading in this direction. A crossover with Pacific Rim sounds like a really cool idea.
Why can't this channel make ONE good Godzilla video?
14:40 or..or Instead of Jaeger pilots or Jaegers entering the Godzilla universe, what if Godzilla accidentally ends up in the Pacific Rim universe, perhaps through a portal like the one used by the Kaiju aliens in Pacific Rim? Considering the destructive nature of the original Pacific Rim Kaiju and Godzilla's role as a guardian of nature, what would happen when they meet?
WOO HOO NEW VID
i love the intro😂😂😂😂
I want Space Godzilla..... but crossing over with Pacific Rim would be awesome. I'm down for it..
I refuse to acknowledge Pacific Rim: Uprising solely for turning one of the good guys into a bad guy. But I would LOVE this kind of crossover!
my friend just showed me the godzilla and kong merch and then this drops
@UTTPArrestAllFandoms me bludclat matpat is retired
Interesting idea. I thought they would do a mecha kong. But they could definitely pivot into a mech machine
Space Godzilla gotta be next.
king kong is a cutie patootie- u feel like he would be my best friend

Epic!! Theory for the next Godzilla and Kong movie: *THEY DIE* 🛣️
Godzilla can't die legacy has a contract with toho(toho have the rights over godzilla) Kong can die since he is public domain
Theory, the writers leave the people stories so when the monsters appear the viewers appreciate those moments more than if the film was 100% monsters fighting
If a Pacific Rim scenario did happen, it would be one of the biggest kaiju crossovers since Gigabash.
Nintendo should have a Giant Bowser vs Giant Donkay Kong in the next Mario Game

Man...I really want Jet Jaguar to be the mech Monarch or the government builds. But I'd take a Jaeger. WAIT....Jet Jaeger!?
Now I want Jet Jaguar piloting Kiryu(the best Mecha Godzilla)
4:24 Did Film Theory forget that Serizawa died?
Yes! Godzilla × Kong theory! Let's freaking go! 😆
@UTTPArrestAllFandoms Your fandom Sucks and you are worse than click bate youtubers and don't actully realise the effort people put into videos so just shut up kid

Omg I see it! XD

Wonder when Kong and Godzilla will do the fusion dance to become Kongzilla.🤔
0:58 excuse me??
I honestly think your voice is really good for film theory
*New rule of the Internet:*
If a Film exist, Film theory is going to make a theory on it
New? Since 2011!
.... or something.
I am PRAYING that they bring Mothra back PLEASE LICENSE HER!
Film theory idea: The science behind Scarecrows fear gas
First, you don’t even pronounce the name of the tribe right. Second, you have no grasp on Godzilla lore you seem like you’re making a theory after watching a video on Godzilla made by somebody who doesn’t know anything about Godzilla. And third your title is dumb. The next Godzilla movie could be their last? You don’t support that in the video and space Godzilla is not Godzilla endgame monster it’s destroyah
THANK YOU

thx I really needed this
You would think scar king would be smart enough to keep his whip and the wand that controls shimu separate.
If anything he should just use the ice pick as a dagger, not fling it around at the end of a whip where it could get ripped off.
i will say, theres something that connects these two franchises even more. In one of the comics theres a mechakaiju that looks oddly similar to the pacific rim robots, the Titan hunter.
Full support for GODZILLA
Brother you gotta either write better jokes or something cause that human thing came off so condescending, especially coming from someone who referred to the Iwi as Iwu. Claims his audience doesnt rememebr Serizawa dying (we do it was literally the catalyst for Godzilla's survival) but can't even proofread the scripts he writes and/or reads.
Facts. I kinda wish they used Ren Serizawa more honestly.
I miss matpat
I guess he has a family to take care of
Had it not been for Mothra, that fight in Egypt could’ve and would’ve been their last fight.
