Thanks again for another awesome review. Looking forward to a follow up video about these forks. Also looking forward to the 49er (49 cc) update. I hope you still / will continue to enjoy and share this hobby with us for a long time.
I’m running the same brake calipers on “Jokester” mine are just purple. I really like them so far and they seem to work very well so far. They are hydro line pull which was very simple but still clamp down really hard. I recently put sinitard* pads on and they seem to hold up excellent and pull to a stop fast.
Your upgrade journeys are always in perfect sequence to my upgrade plans. I would normally credit synchronicity like this to artificial intelligence. So its awsome knowing this hobby brings like minds together with perfect timing. Great video that was much more than "mildly" entertaining.
I was able to make my 20mm zoom fork work with custom spacers I made from round stock to fit my 9mm front MTB wheel. Couldn’t afford to buy $300 wheel on amazon
well, if i ever get a frame back from cdh, the next thing is the gemenis, then looks like those forks, man i really like those ,..nice vid homeslice ;) but now your making me spend more money :)
Will it be possible to you to make a video covering the topic of heat and temperature? For example: -what upgrades/tuning makes engine run hotter -what are temperatures should you ride and which you shouldn't -what sparkplugs to use in different seasons or generally avg temp outside = what spark plug -carburator adjustments for heat You are doing awesome vids, keep it going dude
Related to tuning lean/rich & temps., would a cylinder head temperature (CHT) Thermocouple be a great way to verify results of said tuning experiments? Thanks LA!
I use the zoom triple tree forks on my Saracen Xile. I am not easy on them at all. I have been so rough on them that I broke my rear axle on a jump yet, there has never been any damage to my zooms
I've learned that threaded head tubes are different from threadless head tubes. The threaded and threadless can sometime be iner changed with headset bearing adapters, but they have to have a minimum of a 32mm diameter. Long story short is that if you have an older bike, it can be hard to upgrade to a threadless fork system 😉 😜 😄 😀. THANKS for the video, brother. Loven them Forks and the wheels. What motor were you running??
Hey would you have an idea on how I took a motor that my buddy blew up it had no compression I took a cylinder I had laying around and put it on the motor with the piston that had no compression and it now has 120 psi and I have ran it for 8 months now everyday ridding over 1000 miles and it still runs right now lol
Are these Zoom forks compatible with mag wheels? Specifically the cheap set you get from bike berry? And what components would I need to mount them on an f-zero frame?
This bike might be a good candidate for hydraulic brakes. If your looking to save money though and increase braking performance if your using stock brake pads on your mechanical brake setups I highly recommend looking for semi metallic replacements. Some mechanical brakes may not have this as an option though.
I would recommend keeping an eye on your rotors if you do this, I've not had issues with my setup and put about a years use on it(mostly short trips). Probably adjusted the brakes 2-3 times for the whole year though. It was my daily commuter until I had no choice but to get an e bike.
@@LAHover A buddy of mine told me about these. Says he's has them on his push bike. But with the full hydro setup couldn't you just junction two calipers to a T and feed the handle/reservoir into that? I could imagine that would also increase the throw on the handle as it would have to move more fluid to lock up both calipers.
I need some forks like that for sure! Sweet vid man, i left a comment on your last vid, i know the easiest way to contact you is the discord, but i been trying to find the vid where you cut down the silencer and made it smaller, do you remember what vid that is? I cant find it...I got the mz65 clone and a silencer, but the silencer is too big, i need to cut it down, looks relative easy to figure out, I just don't want to mess it up!! Thanks brother, hope you have a great holiday!! -Ray
" 21 Speed Bicycle Men Women White&Black" please can you do a build with this bike it is 21 spd my bike it is $172 on eBay it is a white bike with the rear caliper mounted in the frame it would make a great GREAT trail bike please
If you are able to find a frame that is still that also has the tanks just like the f-zero please let me know cuz I would love to have a steel frame as opposed to aluminum
Very nice suspension upgrade👌 I would like to experiment with integrated seat shocks and cantilever seat shock setups.. Have you experimented with any of these seat style shocks besides a springer seat? I just installed my first springer forks on my next motorized cruiser frame bike build ($49 + free shipping) on eBay a few weeks ago

Hey dude. Excuse me. While on youtube about an hour ago, a bicycle commercial popped up. The commercial was you doing one of your honest, insightful review videos on a bicycle product that the company sent you, not this present video on Zoom Forks.
@@speedyweedy6909 The "commercial" was one of LA Hover Bikes' previous youtube videos where he honestly reviews an electric bicycle that I believe was given to him by a company for the purpose of posting an insightful review on you tube.
