I recently got this bike. It does not pay to run both motors at top speed on pavement. Just use the rear motor. Bike is nice, and can be a great transportation bike. Does not feel like a bicycle, but a small motorcycle. I'm very happy with it, but don't expect to ride full throttle all the time.
@@ecocentrichomestead6783 good point, i guess on steep uphill activate both motors. I wonder what you could get out of it while bouncing back and forth based on whats needed with throttle only
This is one of the most honest eBay reviews I’ve seen thank you very much. I’ve been in a battle with some other EBike reviewers because they just come off as company shills and spokesperson, they do a 20 minute infomercial for the bike and the only information you can get or that they give you you can get off the spec sheet anyways. They simply are unwilling to say anything negative about the bike because they know that’s going to shut off the free bikes coming to their garage.
Regarding pedals guys: those are not just for show, pedals are there to keep you out of trouble with the law (that's law as in LEO aka "Law Enforcement Officer"), or to avoid suffering a road rage incident (SUV drivers get very upset at being stuck in traffic, only to see you moving to the head of the line and running a red light when at the intersection). Pedals are especially important on these style e-bikes/mopeds, that look like electric motorbikes (aka "motorcycles"). Example of how to use pedals: You are at an intersection, at a stop light. You split lanes which implies to everyone around you, including the LEO also stopped in traffic, that you are a motorcycle. You see your chance and "run the light" because you are an e-bike. Everyone in their SUVs are steaming mad because to them you appear a drugged-up motorcycle rider doing anything you want to do, including running red lights and/or riding on sidewalks. You also have the attention of the eagle-eyed LEO, who we assume is bored and looking for some action to break the monotony, or because he got in a fight in the AM with the missus, he's not in the mood to let your snotty arrogant a#s get away with breaking the law right under his nose. So to calm everyone the fcu# down, when you press or twist that throttle, that's your cue to vigorously pedal, so fast that it appears you are fleeing zombies coming up on your six. SHOW everyone you are a bicycle. Bonus Tips (read if you are sittin on the loo and bored): If given the option by the manufacturer or retailer to have pedals, or not, always choose pedals. Those will placate Padawan LEOs who don't know about the subtleties of what constitutes a powered bicycle as opposed to what looks to him or her like a small motorcycle. Tip: out in the field if it is LEO vs. what looks to be a motorcycle rider, you're gonna always lose, especially if you were doin 35 mph in the bike lane. IMO if the LEO clocks or estimates your speed at 40 mph, pulls you over, and the LEO does not see pedals (e.g., the Sur Ron), you run the risk s/he's on the spot gonna CONFISCATE your bike (e.g., California's new laws allow that). Don't take my word for it., search RUclips for videos where the rider says something like "My Sur Ron was taken by police;" or "I got pulled over on my e-bike by the police." One is titled something like "the police stole my Sur Ron." In contrast, put the odds in your favor. If the LEO at least sees FUNCTIONAL pedals, then all you are left having to do is to respectfully, politely, artfully, and perhaps using Jedi mind tricks, convince the LEO that your bike doesn't go faster than (insert MPH here), and if he shows you the radar gun with a huge number "40" displayed, fall to the ground and shake all around because you are so surprised your BICYCLE goes that fast. Bottom line: Don't choose looking kewl over being smart. Opt for pedals and use em. Pedal to keep the peace, and stay out of trouble.
First off if your going past 28 miles an hour pedals or no pedals an officer can site you, going faster than 28 means your no longer a class 2 or class 3 ebike, second being on a bicycle or motorcycle or any kind of vehicle you should always still be obeying the traffic laws, people who think they don't have to stop at red lights or stop signs and just disregard all the traffic laws is why they are implementing all these new regulations on ebikes riders, obey the the laws of the road and ride responsibily and you won't have a problem.
Thank You So Much for making this video. I'm waiting for my DK300 Max to be delivered within the next day or so. It's funny after seeing Tail Happy's review and yours being released the very next day, I knew there was something special about this bike. For 3 days I was debating when to pull the trigger on buying it then I saw they dropped the price even lower and I had to snatch it up on the spot. Thanks again for providing such great perspective on this bike!
Peace be with you😌 This year, the industry trend - as far as moped style motos are concerned - seem to be pivoting away from Geared Hub Motors, embracing higher voltage - 60V - Direct Drive motors found in Goat Power Bike’s BILLY GOAT V2 and the SEGWAY XYBER E-BIKE shown at this year's CES. The E-Bikes have 40/50Amp motor controllers. Geared Hub motors in applications such as this days may be numbered. Thanks again!😃
I usually turn on dual motor when it counts or to accelerate to speed then lay off it a bit and just use single. What sucks is I know how I need to ride it to get the range I’m looking for and my friend likes too book it the entire time possible soooo I end up getting way less range because of who I ride with sometimes.
I would love this bike, but it's honestly just been a huge problem for me. It's been a near train wreck of an experience. It's literally just one problem after another. Once I get everything fixed(make it rideable), I honestly hope I can enjoy it.

40 ah is plenty .. Mostly, rides you go on will be with friends or just bopping around town 10 to 20 miles.. Single motor for most rides I think ... 30 mph is probably 1/4 of the 10-20 miles. If you are with people on stock name brand regular bikes you are good to go👍

Let's admit it guys, let's stop being greedy and buy this thing. That's what I'm doing because that price is so dam* low. And don't forget, there's NO SALES TAX and there's FREE DELIVERY.
42 miles is pretty good for open throttle for two hours, probably could have gotten 60 miles with a single motor. Considering that in the city you'll be doing a lot of stopping and possibly lower speeds do to more intersections you'd probably be able to get that 80 mile range on throttle only.
Hmm. If it had dual headlights and dual seats, I 'd be down, lol. These Pseudo-Mopeds are everywhere. Cheap. After the components list, I would give frame construction a hard look. They can be overbuilt, excessively heavy, yet still have weak points. It's not like they get aerospace level engineering. Still, if all works out, you can get a lot of stuff for a pittance.
Hinestly guys, for the money think about it - other bikes like a super 72 for over $3000, which this is just as fast and cool looking - are you really getting $1700 more value?? Id say to me, no. You can always upgrade the controller and batteries if you want on this. In all, its a great bike to get into this style of bike. Who is also really going to ride 40 miles wide open at 30mph????
thanks for the review. to measure the real range, run the bike on a straight, level 100miles road at full power without ever stopping. that would be a great review.
The Claimed Range of these styled bikes are for 20 mph speeds. So at 20mph they claim it goes 75 miles. Which is good. But... But... At Faster Speeds reduce that range. Maybe 60% of that. Might get 40-45 at best at top speeds. Wow it eats battery at full speed. Not good imho. They should restrict the top speed then.
All that said above. I'm very happy with my AniiOKi A8-PRO-MAX EbIke. I get the claimed ranges so far. I love getting 100-200+ mile range out of the battery. Mean I can travel far.

The second motor is only meant for times when extra pulling power is needed. Motors only spin so fast. So two motors will not give a higher top speed.
