Just got this bike in 2 days ago. This thing is built like a motorcycle!! It is twice as big in real life. The wheelbase is longg. The air suspension (200 extra) is the best in the industry. The brakes are the best in the industry. Even the welds on the bike are A1. The tires are super thick and a unique all-terrain pattern. I got it up to 47 yesterday. I can pedal up to 30 miles an hour without ghost pedaling, due to a MASSIVE chain ring in the front. 300MM ROTOR!! Add dual motor to that, comfortable seat in an alarm system, + 100mile range.... Mass of 60AH battery Top 3 overall quality bikes in the industry. Driving it to work everyday and I love this thing!! ❤ I go 25 miles full throttle and it takes 35-40% battery.

I also own an A8 Dual but have to disagree with some of your points on quality. 1. The weds are not horrible but not the best. 2.) the air fork suspension sucks. 3.) can't pedal over 25 mph unless you want to break your pedaling that fast. 4.) quality is not the best. I'd say in-between worst and best.

@faYte0607 would you still recommend it as a buy? I am looking between this and the billy goat v3. I am looking for something with very long range particularly in throttle mode.

      @faYte0607 4 месяца назад +2

@@GDEE6 I've had it for a few weeks now and just put close to 300 miles. There are minor issues/annoyances but no major error. Getting tech support will take sometimes weeks to resolve because of time zone difference and language barrier, so you'll need patience. Replacement parts can take weeks if not months. The quality of the welds on the Aniioki leaves a lot to be desired, but it's not terrible. Frame has cracked on one owner who went over bump (not sure how severe). Battery is not UL certified and it's the same battery mfg used by Eahora. Don't expect front fork to be high quality. You'll feel its shittiness over bumps on the road. So I may upgrade that later.
All those things aside, if you're a bit patient, mechanical savvy, willing to RUclips fixes, then you'll like the Aniioki. I ride on the street only with traffic lights and traveled 40 miles using around 40% battery, so you can expect probably 70 miles in street riding up to 40mph.

BEWARE!!! I own this bike and 3 of their single motor A8's I had several issues from the single motor A8' but This dual motor A8 has been a piece of junk! Have nothing but issues. Aniioki tries to help but cant get it right. I am only getting 38mph out of the dual motor. a lot less then the 45mph they say, You should also do the range test. Iam 160 lbs. 63yo, I ride easy on my bikes, in 2 or 3 speed a lot and only getting 50 to 60 mile tops, also way short of there 100 mile claim. I also had several other issues with this bike. Great video. Thanks!

    1. Loosen the break calliper off then pull the lever so break is applied to disc, then while break is on tighten the calliper bolts! This is the way to get the discs lined up with pads!
    2. You have pulled the lever and extend the caliper pistons while wheel was off and pistons will need pressed back into the calliper! Do not use a screwdriver use something plastic or you will goudge the pistons and could rip seals!
    Hope this helps

I have been quietly rooting for Aniioki. Unfortunately with the last couple ebikes having issues with their motors and other issues I was pretty bummed out. I feel like their ideas are really really great, their bikes look different and they can say that their designs and bikes are extremely unique and nobody is making ebikes like them. However with so many problems I feel like people kind of shy'd away from their ebikes. I really really hope they have worked out the bugs and issues. I really want to see their ebikes succeed. They are great looking ebikes, amazing specs, huge batteries, massive power etc. I really want to buy one, but I have to see how this new version pans out and see if people start having issues. I have heard that their customer support is pretty decent and they try to resolve issues. We will see, I'm rooting for you Aniioki!!!

They are making bikes that are totally different then the rest of the ebike industry. With the power and bigger batteries, great suspension, bigger better brakes etc I really like their bikes. If they can get those couple of issues fixed they will do extremely well. So far it seems they are on the right track of getting those issues taken care of and also getting those parts out to current bike owners to get them back on the road. I definitely feel like they are doing their best to get this taken care of.

So far, I've been impressed with Aniioki's bikes. I like the power, speed and range you get out of these. I've been in the market for a new bike because I've been wanting an ebike with more speed and range than my current ebike which is an Aventon Aventure. My Aventure only gets about 25 miles at best out of a charge and can go up to 30 MPH. I've been going back and forth in wondering wether I want to get the A9 Pro Max or A8 Pro Max. What impresses me most about this bike is the speed and range. With a 45 MPH top speed and 100 miles or more out a charge, this bike would completely eliminate range anxiety for me. There's been plenty of times where I'd be out on a ride and would have to start home halfway through my ride because the battery would be low and would have just enough power to see me home. I'm happy that I can go wherever I want with this bike and still have enough charge to get me home. I'll definitely be considering one of these for next year as it's too cold to ride my bike anymore this year.

I bought two. Have had them for 3 weeks now
    1) the seat is too wide to pedal much ( absolutely uncomfortable for my wife to pedal) and not an easy swap as the seat post is 2.25”
    2) rear motor failed on one of the bikes day 2 they are supposedly sending me a new core motor.. no shipping confirmation or much other detail from Aniioki
    3) the other bike’s headlight stays on all the time and no horn
The bikes will absolutely do 45mph ( but it’s sketchy AS All get out ( I’ve pulled all the tires off multiple times to try and “Rebalance”
    4) the throttle has a mind of their own ( aniioki calls this “ cruise control” ) it’s worse with the dual motor on less with just the rear motor
I bought these bikes to increase our range and get rid of our battery worries while riding
We’ve rode them over the past 2 weekends first weekend was 50 miles and the battery was still at 85% second weekend almost the same distance and path as the previous weekend. Battery after this ride was down to 71% so this is a little concerning
The bikes at 18-28 mph are great on roads and gravel bike paths.. they are HEAVY… but not bad even for my petite wife to ride
Not sure I would buy them again or recommend to any just yet….

Did you fix the horn? What caused the front and rear motor speedometers to show similar readings when only one wheel was turning? Would you care to address the legality of this ebike being non-street legal, or is that a topic you prefer to ignore, despite potentially adverse consequences?

Personally, its the closest thing I would want all around, just a few things I dont like are the fact that both front and rear motors are not the same peak power (It will most likely cause an issue down the road, plus it would've given equal power to both wheels all the time.), the brake calipers do not cover more contact area of the rotors for maximum performance (It makes zero sense to have that big of a rotor and only around an inch of contact.), its not 72V (it will give it way more power and with a good balance of range.) and lastly the horn sounds weak AF (It should sound like the one on a motorcycle so people know your coming through.)

The problem with all these bike is they have a geared hub motor which don't last very long (5k miles) compared to a direct drive hub motor (50k miles). So alot of people are swapping out these Anioki motors for the direct drive hubs.

    • @mankihonda983
      @mankihonda983 8 месяцев назад +2

Yeah they don't last if used like you would a moped, always gunning the throttle from standstill and even worse running at top speed extended periods. Their design has poor heat dissipation and the motor itself has low mass = low thermal capacity. This all leads to premature failure of the windings. They were originally intended to assist mountain bikes while keeping the unsprung and overall weight of the bike down.

I recently built a dual geared hub motor 52v bike based on a 2010 Trek 3700 26"...and man...I freaking LOVE it. I am only about 120lbs, power to weight makes acceleration crazy. It climbs hills I could never have climbed pedalling. It is literally like having an awd silent dirt bike. I am at about 2500W peak but a cheap controller upgrade will get me to 3500W. It is way better than I could have possibly imagined. I call it the "Skyline GTR" of ebikes. I know there are way faster emtb out there but it is by far the fastest I have been on. It rips loose sand like nothing. Does all the mountain biking stuff I used to pedalling and more. The difference with the second motor is mind blowing.

This is my review of the Aniioki A8 dual motor that I had planned on riding in on as we film the next "The Alien Brain" episode on Ancient Aliens, but after 140 miles on this dam bike hell no.
A8 dual motor Review and Warning for the Aniioki A8 Dual Motor Electric Bike with 20-Inch Wheels
As "The Alien Brain" from the TV show Ancient Aliens on The History Channel, I began my riding journey at the age of 12 with a Yamaha 175 motocross motorcycle. Over the years, as my racing abilities increased, I transitioned to larger and more powerful bikes, including the Yamaha 250 and a 1972 Kawasaki 750 H2e street racing bike. With this extensive riding experience, I feel compelled to warn potential buyers about the Aniioki A8 dual motor electric bike, particularly for those living in rural or mountainous areas with rough gravel roads and/or pothole-filled paved roads.
I purchased this A8 dual motor bike just a month before the release of the new A9 model with 26-inch wheels, which I believe would correct some of the problems I am currently experiencing, and I genuinely regret my decision. The A8 model has proven to be extremely dangerous on curvy and gravel roads. The ride is excessively rough, and it can be jarring with every bump. I weigh 157 pounds and have loosened the rear shocks completely; however, the ride remains very uncomfortable. The 20-inch wheels lack the stability needed to navigate sharp turns and steep curves, failing to generate enough centrifugal force to maintain balance at both higher and lower speeds. The bike becomes unstable over 20 mph, especially when attempting to dodge potholes.
Additionally, I frequently encounter error code 30, which indicates loose electrical connections. This forces me to stop, turn off the bike, and restart it to clear the error, disrupting my ride every one to two minutes on the roughest roads.
It’s clear that this bike was designed for smooth asphalt and mostly straight roads. If you hit a pothole or need to make quick maneuvers, it can easily throw you into the ditch or head on traffic. Most of the bolts have rattled loose, requiring me to remove them and apply blue thread lock to keep them secure.
The rear brakes, which are crucial for steep downhill descents, wore out to metal-on-metal in under 60 miles. A potential solution would involve modifying the rear drive motor to include regenerative braking, which would reduce wear on the freewheeling rear system. This would also help recover energy when traversing steep downhill gravel roads and alleviate the increased reliance on front brakes, which can lead to quicker lock-ups and accidents.
I conducted extensive research in search of an electric bike that could handle my steep, curvy gravel mountain roads, which led me to choose this model over all others on the market at that time. While it has the power I was looking for, it falls severely short in ride quality. Nowhere in my research did I encounter warnings about the issues I’m currently facing, and I find myself increasingly frustrated with the performance of any bike with 20-inch wheels on rough terrain.
Aniioki needs to better advise potential rural mountain riders on the difference between choosing 20-inch versus 26-inch wheel bikes. Had I found this type of information, I would have waited for the A9 model or other better brand as the ROAD WARRIOR Ultimate AWD.
I have concerns about selling this A8 dual motor bike to anyone living in rural areas, as most people do not possess the riding skills I have developed over my 66 years of life.

@13:16 I guess you edited out blowing through the stop sign and getting flipped off and cursed by the dog walker?

Great review bro once again and as always.
Hope to see you ride with us one of these Sundays. I'm with the Venice Electric Light Parade (VELP).
If you see me, I'm the one with the Eahora Romeo and actually, I purchased my bike after seeing your review of the Juliette.

Guys, I just received my A8 Pro Max Dual Motor and both Hubs are F03A1600DM1Y6R0048. Does it mean they upgraded both hubs to 1600 watt Nominal? Peak probably will be at 2000 watt? Also, the brake/turn signal is different and all LEDs work. How do you unlock the speed? I have it on max, but it can only go 25 mph. Please help.
