However, more importantly, there is the merchandising side, Latin America being the biggest merchandising market for Red Bull across the board. Checo, in my opinion, and as much as I like the dude, is out of his depth against Max - but then most drivers on the current grid would be.
Just swap Dan and Checo after the summer break. They both need to swim to keep a seat in either team. If Dan sinks (which he most likely will and I'm a fan) he's gone. If Checo shines he comes back. if sinks he stays at VCARB and Yuki advances. For the rest of the season each team keeps their major points getter.
Get rid of Checo, put Danny Ric in the second Red Bull that car fits his driving style and he will be resurrected and brings huge marketing appeal to Red Bull and $$$$$$. Then Liam Lawson slides into Vcarb and there you go, problem solved.
Marko should put Lawson in for practice 1 this week just to give Perez a nudge.
