If you can get a guy that was robbing liquor stores to get some anger management, rethink some of their choices and hold down a 9 to 5 that's better than paying to put them in cold storage for five or six decades. The logistics and expense behind imprisoning someone for a year is insane let alone a lifetime.
Having said that once shots are fired during the robbery that fuckers gotta go down. There's desperate enough to scare folks with a BB gun and then there's attempted murder for like probably a couple hundred bucks.

Municipal Court Judge Jazmin Torres-Lugo was the original judge. She was elected in 2017. She's up for re-election in November 2023. She set the original bond. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge John Russo took over and kept the bond previously set without review. He's been on the bench since 2005. I don't know if he is up for re-election. Wish I could say this is an isolated incident but we all know the truth. They both knew this was a very dangerous repeat offender. They put a $2,000 price tag on the lives of the citizens who elected them, then discounted that to $200. Edited for spelling and grammar.

What happened to getting Sureties, the purpose of bail is to ensure you appear, why would i appear if its just cash Bond. Make the person have to put up a surety of blood relation, so he knows if he skips out he leaves his blood relation hanging

Another darrol brooks soon. Maybe the judge will give him a $4000 bond and let him out with $400 this time. These judges need to be held accountable.
