  • Now that we are all on track with our Slicer software, having just installed Cura 2 and upgraded our printer firmware, let's work on turning some 3D Model files into G-Code for our 3D Printer to create. We're going to be using our Lulzbot Mini to slice and print our models with (mainly because it's awesome, but also because it fits nicely on the desk beside me)

    I encourage you to continue to make these videos. I see that you put a lot of thought into what you do and troubleshoot before your video production. This gives you a lot of credibility. Continue the good work!

    Nice, we've been using Cura for the 3D Printers at my Library. Interested in seeing out the Octoprint integration works.

      I have not updated my Octoprint but the old version I have has worked very well with my Mini. My printer is in the garage and I also use a Logitech camera with Octoprint to keep an eye on the printing when I am in my home office.

    At the bottom of screen, there is a section how much filament is needed and cost. How do i setup software to generated a cost involved in printing say at $.05 per gram? Please advise.
