Scott, just imagine how much cany you could have fit into the 20×82mm catridge of the NTW-20. You could EASILY go through 3, maybe 4 zombie torsos with 20mm round made of pure jawbreaker sugar!!!
the pressure of a shotgun would already put a lot of stress on a jawbreaker, the pressure and rifling of a 20mm would just spray sugar power out the end of the gun.

Your video’s always bring me joy and it is good to see you all well again after the accident I was worried it was going to be the end of the channel but you push through and continue being you
I'm no scientist or ballistic expert, especially when it comes to candy rounds, but I'd like to make a theory here as to why the Gummy Bear rounds worked better than anything else. I think since the other candies were hard candies, the force just shattered them on the way out making shards of little painful candy projectiles that don't do much damage, but would still hurt like the dickens. The gummy bears however are, well, gummy and have a bit of elasticity to them, they were able to take the force and stay together becoming a "gummy bear slug" as our dear host here put it. The gummy bears beyond all odds managed to form a projectile capable of killing a man, which in all honesty gives me newfound respect for the little fellas.
Seems like one of the bigger factors was how powerful the powder charge was. Also, the more brittle candies were already turned to powder when they left the barrel.
I'd hope he made the powder amount the same, but the weight is determined by how much he can squish. Definitely brittle stuff turned to powder though lol.
Not so much the amount of powder, but whether or not the powder that is in there has enough resistance from the projectile in front of it to properly burn. Modern gunpowder needs to be under pressure in order to ignite (technically, to exothermically decompose into gas) and at normal atmospheric pressure the powder just fizzles.
Thanks for some of the best non click bait content on RUclips, and providing content I didn’t even know I needed in my life until you uploaded it, like today! You rock Scott!
Hey Scott! Looks like they were all pretty much breaking up before they reached the target. Maybe they would do better if you could make some shot cups for inside those monster shells? Might also save the sugar coating of your barrel ;) Love your content Sir!! Keep it up!!
Its interesting that the conventionally hard sweets/candies broke up more and did less damage from the 4 bore, than the gummie bears. Yes the fact that those bears got squished down probably contributed to them having a bit of punch.
I think the reason that only the gummy bears were lethal is because when firing they likely expanded to form a gas seal which allowed for a full powder burn.
Another sweet sweet video for the day. Okay that was enough, i deserve to make a jump into the Chip-O-Matic right now! (Love the content Scott, the entertainment is always over 9000!!!💪🏻🖤😂)
Great video! As I've seen mentioned in a few other comments, I would love to see a part 2 with some jawbreakers and anything else you didn't get to this time around. Blown away by how much damage those gummy bears did 🤣
You needed to use plastic wads with the cushioning section when loading those shells. The shock of the gunpowder going off shattered the candies before they ever got going. You would've gotten better results if the candies weren't just powdered before they left the barrel. And next time, you need to make a Jolly Rancher slug!!
That was pretty funny. Most seem to break up before hitting the target. One thing I would have loved to seen was one of the shells loaded with the famous old rock salt! I don't know how many times I've heard the "shot him with rock salt" phrase. Would love to see just what that would do. I'd guess about what most of the candy did but it would be interesting.
