@@NomaranTheAlchemist Kuja is otherworldly and at that point the mightiest being both planets had ever seen
That Beatrix did this feat when strong magic powers were not that much a thing, so a hundred knights would mean the best soldiers from the other army, it's indeed something

@@NomaranTheAlchemist that is suggested through her warning, if the knights were the equivalent of civilians or weak she wouldn't brag about it
There are also those wars that happened before the events take place and Beatrix was said to be way over the top back then

Square Enix really needs to make a Final Fantasy 9 prequel starring Beatrix as the main character.
Not as main character, but an OP side character like Vergil in DMC.
Make her harder to fight, can whoop your ass easily if you don't grind. Make her unlockable after certain quest.
yes. definitely. maybe call this game: FFIX: Journey of the Rose. Or something else. Beatrix is such a powerful charakter with enough soul an backgrounds to be protagonist :D
Make her a good character in the beginning, then slowly overtime as she progresses you play as the antagonist as you learn how she developed into the best swordsman in the world under the Queen. I'm sure there's some tragic events that happened to her that made her so merciless. . . exploring these would be excellent. Don't forget, it would highlight some background on Steiner, too.

Masterpiece. This was one of the most epic tracks in FFIX, played while fighting an undefeatable enemy.
And hard to Steal the last Items from Beatrix even i get her debuffed by Slow Magic
Me: “To this point, Sephiroth is the only enemy I’ve ever gone face to face with and felt true fear.”
Beatrix: “And I took that personally.”
Dead serious, I think that back when sephiroth was a regular SOLDIER, Beatrix probably could have beaten him.

Silk Shirt nerfs Thunder Slash by 50%. My problem was always the time limit running out before I could steal everything.

Im Just now finding these amazing remakes and these are now my favorite versions ever made ..i am Blown away Final Fantasy IX is my favorite Final Fantasy of All Time

God, Beatrix was so OP and annoying to fight.
In honor of beatrix, we should all spam shock on the like bar for massive numbers of likes, for this is another job well done.

@@cardinaleze3939 Nah, luckily, the new versions got the speed up option. And I read the good tip to always try to steal hard stuff up to 20-25 times, then starting the battle again (Steam version got check points, too, so that works for Beatrix battles also.) The tip helped me with Tantarian, but managed to steal the rest rather okay. Oh, and used the tip for the Hilgigars, too. Still took quite a while.
Ah, the battle in which you waste healing items and spam "Steal".
Most annoying is even we cast slow on her, her rare items is not easy to steal until she end the battle itself, load load load load again until u get it 😂

I like it but sadly the weapons name is Save the Queen, unless you knew this and just decided to make this slightly cooler lore plot. Either way, nice menacing story
@@Zethrae I know Save The Queen is the name of the sword. While the symphony has a different title altogether. I made an edit to reflect that. (haha!)
What is the sword in the hands of Beatrix (doubt in enemy, mercy for ally, mystery to all? ) , and what 'queen' will be saved (loyalty to heirs and oaths? )? Beatrix was a good character, both in the game's canon and any implied scenarios in FFIX lore that surround her.
Yes I took liberty with the game's lore of her sword and character, mainly the 100 vs. 1 massacre, and implying that King Alexandros Nth's (Garnet's dad) death was a contribiting factor.
I can see it regarded as vague headcanon or loosely asumed canon. Maybe? Anyway, thanks.

He rarely does it. Most of his works are just replacing midi instruments.
@@gregerius Hello mb. I must disagree on this. Their is almost always additional details like melodies in the backgroud (or different harmonization), added layers like choirs, percussion and more! The structure is usually unchanged, but I can notice these details on my fist listen. Guess I played through these game way too much!

I’ve been listening to the original track of this song for years upon years and I believe I have heard every remake or remaster there is. Today I have stumbled upon yours and I have to say, this is hands down the absolute best remake of this song I have ever heard. That is saying a lot. Excellent rendition. You made an great song become awesome. You have my sub because of this. Thank you.
PS- Since you have a lot of Final Fantasy, don’t forget Final Fantasy Tactics. It has one of the best soundtracks.

Shock, Thunder Slash, Climhazard. whatever te skill name, she was still such a pain to fight. all three times. This is where i got stuck as a kid. id constantly start a new game till i got to the end of disk 1 bc i couldnt beat her lol.
