- Keith Urban honors wife Nicole Kidman, recipient of the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award - America's highest honor for a career in film - on April 27, 2024 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
THE 49th AFI LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: A TRIBUTE TO NICOLE KIDMAN premieres on TNT on Monday, June 17 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The show, which celebrates Kidman’s career in film and television, features tributes from co-stars and friends Cate Blanchett, Russell Crowe, Zac Efron, Jimmy Fallon, Morgan Freeman, Hugh Jackman, Joey King, Mike Myers, Zoe Saldaña, Aaron Sorkin, Meryl Streep, Miles Teller, Keith Urban, Naomi Watts and Reese Witherspoon. The show will re-air on TCM on Thursday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. PT.

Such a nice guy. My brother-in-law was in rehab (at Betty Ford) with Keith and said he was genuinely the nicest guy. Humble and there to do the work and get on with his life. Happy they both made it out and made incredible lives for themselves.
Hopefully, you, too, are doing well since being at Betty Ford! Obviously, Keith Urban was one who did the work and still appears to be doing the appropriate work for his journey. I suspect that, at the core, most recovering addicts who remain sober find their authentic self and remain faithful and true to themselves. I believe I see that in Keith Urban, and I believe that's why life is so good and fulfilling for him now.
He certainly has a good work ethic and reputation for that. It's really exciting to hear from someone who was with Keith during his time in BF. It confirms that he is just exactly what he seems to be.

@@joysmall Not a problem. Mike has done amazing since he was there (for 5 months if I recall - it was several years ago now). It's a choice, isn't it and no one can make that choice but the addicts.
Personally I'm quite to opposite. I have never taken any illegal substance. I've never smoked... And a small bottle of Baileys will go bad before it gets finished. I have never like the idea of not being in full control of my senses. :)
@JenShea I'm happy to hear that Mike is doing well! Nothing is more important. I lost my younger brother to alcoholism and he was trying to stop drinking when he had a seizure and he was alone 😔. He was found by his wife in their driveway the morning after he was not drinking at all and was following some doctor's advice and taking some type of prescribed medicine to help him through the withdrawal at home!! This doctor wasn't an addiction specialist, he should have advised my brother to atleast go into the hospital for detox!
The disease of addiction is a very serious problem and needs specific treatment by specialist who treated it!!
It's good to know that both Mike and Keith are doing well 👍. Take care and keep enjoying Keith's amazing music 🎶 and performances!
Why am I not surprised that he’s humble and a regular guy who is immensely talented and gifted.
Couldn't be happier for them both! He wanted the wife and kids MORE than the music and careers and everything and the fact that he sobered up and got it all is AWESOME! They make a great couple! Congratulations to them both! What a beautiful inspiration and great example for their daughters. God Bless them always!

Not true. That is her second PR name. He was first required to call her "princess". Then a discussion was held on her rep as the North Shore princess. Her PR name was changed o "Baby Girl". After the Sugarland song "Baby Girl". She has now made a mockery of the name by cheating in a movie by the same name. What she does in real life as well.Keith has another woman in his life since 2008.
