I love character loyalist like Daniel Mado because he put in the effort and hardwork and really improved his Jin and stuck with him. Whereas many of the best Jin players just abandoned the character, like CBM, Book, Atif Butt, Chikurin.... I have to say Devilster and Daniel Mado are my fav Jin players right now.

Yeah agreed. Big props to the Jin loyalists that keep playing him despite his difficulty. But you also gotta mention Raef. He's also on a similar level to Devilster and Mado, and also a Jin loyalist. Gotta respect those 3.

  • @TwinT22

12:15 It wasn't a misinput, it was a movelist gimmick. Jin can do scissor kicks (can-can) with d/f+3+4, but you have to be transitioning into crouch to do it (d/f, d/f+3+4), but he buffered the input so it was inputted while he was still idle (d/f+3+4), and can-can doesn't have that input while in his idle stance. A minor hiccup on something hard to notice.

@driatrogenesis To me feels like book doesn't have consistent confidence in his Jin. His offense just isn't that great with Jin anymore. Players like Raef and Mado show that to have success with Jin you need to have a proactive approach with the character.

It's disheartening to learn CBM no longer is a Jin main. I looked up to him and Book as a Jin main myself.
BUT DAYUM. MADO IS COOKING AND SERVING THAT EXTRA SPICY DISH WITH ZEST!!
I was definitely thinking that CBM not only seemed extra salty than usual, but he must've been so frustrated being out played by a character he dropped. He put years into Jin and definitely noticed he doesn't have the same spunk/drive and fun with the character as he once did recently.

Make a character match up tier list
    As an example
Tier list in Tekken 7, focusing on Kazuya:
S Tier (Advantageous Matchups for Kazuya):
    1. Kazumi - Kazuya has strong tools to punish Kazumi's predictable moves.
    2. Gigas - Kazuya can exploit Gigas' slow movement and punish his big attacks.
    3. Eliza - Kazuya's electric wind god fist can be challenging for Eliza to deal with.
    A Tier (Even Matchups):
    1. Jin - This match can go either way due to the Mishima family resemblance.
    2. Heihachi - A balanced matchup with both characters having similar tools.
    3. Feng - Kazuya's mix-up game can keep Feng on his toes.
B Tier (Disadvantageous Matchups for Kazuya):
    1. Hwoarang - Hwoarang's speed and relentless pressure can be tough for Kazuya.
    2. Leroy - Leroy's parry and counter moves can punish Kazuya's aggression.
    3. Steve - Steve's evasive style and counter-hits can trouble Kazuya.
C Tier (Difficult Matchups for Kazuya):
    1. Paul - Paul's high damage output can catch Kazuya off guard.
    2. Law - Law's speed and strings can be challenging for Kazuya to handle.
    3. Akuma - Akuma's projectiles and combos can be problematic for Kazuya.
D Tier (Very Advantageous Matchups for Kazuya):
    1. Kuma - Kazuya can easily punish Kuma's slow moves and large hitbox.

    T8 GETUP LAUNCHER KICK GONE?!?

  • @urbanmanager3105
    @urbanmanager3105 Год назад +2

The reason why throws in Tekken are the most frustrating among all fighting games is because they set a threshold for players rather than being a strategic move. Throw in Tekken is a test of your eligibility to play the game. If you can break throws, congratulations, your reflexes qualify you to play Tekken; if you can't, then Tekken tells you ‘GET OUT! YOU DON’T DESERVE TO PLAY TEKKEN!’
In games like Street Fighter and others, the frame data for throws is deliberately set at a speed that is impossible for anyone to react to and extremely short range, making throw a true strategic move cleverly rather than a human eligibility test. Finally, in Tekken 8, the frame data for breaking counter throws became even shorter. So, are you deserve to play Tekken8?

    • @Seacae
      @Seacae Год назад +1

I mean, if you do a throw in neutral, then it's all reflexes (and even then, not that much of reflexes because you can just mash 1 or 2 or 1+2 by accident and you'll get out instantly).
Throws are a strategic move in tekken too. You just need to know when you are plus frame, and you need to know your opponent's command grabs.
You can also do a throw against a medium/slow opponent's move to counter them, so if they are mashing or pressing other buttons to continue the string, then they get caught by the throw not being able to break it.
The fact that you can react to a throw in every scenario it's a pretty good sign of a player reflexes. So it's only fair that you'll be judged, since it's easy to evade.
Keep in mind that not every character has a strong throw game, the true grapplers are who owns that playground, making it for them a true 50/50, with no different animations to distinguish the right break button, grapplers are the few characters who can make a strategic use of throws, and it's okay this way.
Characters in Tekken all have different tools, and you should choose a character that has the tools you want.
