- A throwback to our first Premier League season, when we enjoyed an amazing start to 2007 with a New Year's Day demolition of visiting West Ham United.

This was one of the first Reading games i went to also I went to the game when we beat Sheffield United 3-1 the weekend after them 2 wins made me became a fan of the club since then Urrrrzzz 🔵⚪️

I remember this game, Reading were superb that day and West Ham were dreadful. 6-0 flattered West Ham, should’ve been 10-0
This was the nadir for West Ham that season at the point they looked highly likely to go down

It's great seeing the goals but the editing is really poor, cutting away from the football to show off-pitch footage of Curbishley, lots of non-sequiturs etc. In 35 minutes there can't have been more than about 10 minutes of action.

West Ham thrashed you 3-0 last night with no Hammers fans present. Your team is in the Championship now and look poor enough to keep struggling. What a shame.
Oooh! Do I detect a note of bitterness in your voice Edward? I see you are bottom of the premiership with no points at the moment. If we don't go up maybe we'll see you in the championship next season.
