Top 50 Smallest Differences between Televoting and Juries in Grand Finals (2009-2021) / Eurovision

- It's a list of 50 #Eurovision songs since 2009 which had the smallest point differences between the televoting and the jury vote. For that, the difference in the jury score and the televote score of every song was divided by the maximum possible amount of points from the televoting or the jury.
The video includes songs which competed in the grand finals from 2009 to 2021 excluding 2013 (because of lack of needed data, split average rankings were published instead of split scores).
In case of a tie, the difference in televote's and jury's placements is the tie-breaker. If there is still a tie, a song with the biggest total score is placed higher.
All rights belongs to EBU.
The version updated after the 2022 contest: ruclips.net/video/WPC1eA-o4yw/видео.html
James Newman, Saara Alto, and Levina: Hold My Beer.
ah cheating, I see
@Θόριν Δρυάσπις Its because of the system used in 2015, the split votes can be found online
James Newman: ”hold my beer”
he's British, so it's probably "hold my tea"😂
@@polinamaximenko2277 if you've met any Brits you will probably know they drink more beer.
As a French, the fact that Barbara received more pts from the televote than the jury+ being top 3 of the televote was reaaaaally unexpected
bruh the song was actually good tho
James Newman should ranked first, zeros from both juries and televoting...
In this chart he'd be the winner! ;)
Imo the formula for these should be jury/televoting points. A 6 point difference with 300 points each is much more impressive than let's say 22 to 27 points.
but 22 - 27 is 12% difference and 200 - 206 is a 3% difference though. So in the end it doesn't really matter.
I don't know exactly how the % is measured here, but even though it is different it still won't really matter. - otherwise you would have only seen countries with little to none points.
@@itsbigbunny892 it doesnt work like that and he doesnt mean that.
lets say the maximum is 300 then 6 points is 5% and that doesnt change if a contestant got 200/206 points or 20/26 it is still a 6 point difference and that is 5% of the total.
and he meant in the way that if for example: Song A had 200/206 and Song B had 20/26 then he wanted Song A to be higher since that difference is more impressive due to the fact that a lot could change. Meanwhile if someone gets 0 points from both then that is less impressive then getting 200/200
@@Ivytheherbert 0 needs a special case, i suggest order by max points in that case.
Saara deserved More tbh
Damn I’ve never seen so many uk entries on one of these compilations before. It really sucks to be a British Eurovision fan these days. 🇬🇧😂 Year after year of disappointment and frustration.
I am German and I 100% understand you lol
@@Philipp19967 I know you’ve had a few last place finishes but at least Germany occasionally gets a decent result every few years, you don’t have to go back well over a decade to find your last top 10 finish. Germany’s actually won the whole contest (2010) more recently than the last time the UK 🇬🇧 got a top 10 finish, which was 2009. 😂 If I remember rightly Germany also did really well in 2018 and came 4th and I also think Ben Dolic would have got another great result for you had the 2020 contest not been cancelled. 🇩🇪👍
I'm Irish, and I get what u mean
@@SorchaYT I can’t argue with that, if your Irish then I imagine you know exactly what it’s like. 🇮🇪 😉😂 Now I’m just waiting on a Spanish fan to post in agreement. 🇪🇸😂
@@87PLS 2018 was the only good result since 2012.
2013 - 2017 and 2019 - 2021 we managed to be 26th ot 25th for 5 times :/
Ben would have flopped in 2020.
I saw him performing. Song was good. Charisma was 0 and stage presence was -100
Even here Saara Aalto is 2nd
Shouldn't Saara be first? She got the most points out of the three that are tied, as well as there were more points available that year compared to the other two years.
Salador Sobral, Barbari Pravi, Loic Nottet, Urban Symphony, Lena and Manizha not only did great in terms of scores and ranking, they also got the jury and the public to agree their songs were amazing.
Saara Alto: 😐
When the jury and the people actually agree:
3/4 of them belong to the video with the lowest points 😅
Spain: gets five points total
Portugal: tugs on collar
Am I the only one seeing that number 38 had 16 points from televoting and 20 from Jury but had 8 points in difference🧐
Mata Hari deserved more and more
United Kingdom: it's my moment to shine!
Televote always does Malta and Germany dirty
So many entries from 2021 ESC
I noticed the same thing. It seems that this year juries and televoters agreed on a lot of entries.
O jardim so underrated 😭
Pioneer too
monstery deserved so much more points ☹️
Yeah , I love monasteries
6:12 im sad while looking this
It's more impressive if they receive a high amount of points and almost get the same amount of points.
Voila ❤️
Finally Azerbaijan is in top 5😍😌
Finally a top where germany is first lol😉
Finally something Germany can win
bruh most of these are my top 5 each year Xd
Freddie was underrated
Maybe is very underrated
Everytime people complains about Salvador's victory, show them this video!
Iceland 2022? I think they got both 10 points in televoting and juries.
2021
@@livinglegendlanadelrey 2022. I don't know if the title was changed or I totally missed it.
1:39 20-16=4pts... Is it a mistake ?
oh... a typo, it's meant to be 24 points from the jury

@@LukaPro348 OK ralax
Hmm, no Israel here ?
I guess we're even contrvertial (or contradicting) when juries and televoters need to decide
The only time the uk will get top 3 ever again.
Hi , could you make a video of average Televote and Jury placings for ESC 2021 . As in which position did the average Televote of all countries keep the countries in , like the 2013 ESC results ?
You ought tg handled ties differently.. but it's not so serious... i like that you've done this clip, and small errors is not the end of the world.
and what about germany and austria 2015?
austria got 40 points from juries and 0 from televote, it wasnt close
and germany got 24 points from juries and 5 from televote
not spain (my country) being here twice, both times with 0 points on either televoting or jury
6:07
This moment...
Finally uk and germany are on the top
Jendrik?
If this will be updated in 2022, slomo could easily include atleast in top 20
And Iceland
6:10 ouch
black smoke 2015
where is Greece this year?? They were 10th in the Televote and 10th in the juries
They had a 12 point difference however, too many to get into the top.
grece douze pointe
great video!! i just have a question, why is 2013 excluded?
The full televoting/jury results of 2013 were never revealed, only an average rank of voting. So nobody actually knows the amount of points each country got from the televote & the jury, we only know the final score
oh thank you so much!
Why is 2013 excluded?
Because it’s 2013🤮
make more of this!!! tysm for the video
I'm screaming
