This is probably the funniest "non furry goes to fur con" ive seen! Its well put together, not out right rude to the fandom, and shows good authentic first impressions. Im sure there was plenty that i didn't see that went on behind the scenes but its still a great video despite that.❤❤❤

like totally! I always cringe at the start of these "non-furry goes to a furcon" videos. it's up to the creator to prove my initial impression wrong. he did! well thought out video, open minded, respectful, got the experience, and he gets it! there is nothing on this planet that can recreate the experience of going to a furcon. is furry weird? YES! but that's part of the fun! thats why I have 3 suits (and counting), and am always so ready to get to the next con!

As for panels, you're correct! They're random because anyone can actually host one. Attendees apply, and con staff chooses which panels to run. People often talk about things they love! I've run a writing panel at a con.

OMG! I was the drunk dude in the onesie at the karaoke recording from the front! I didn't see you leaving I was looking for you all day the day after to tell you how good you were! I wish I had recorded it on my proper camera and not my phone but that's on me for not showing up with a full battery

Wow your actually respectful, that’s a first lol. Most RUclipsrs give the staff a hard time, but you didn’t. Hope you had a great time
we had accidently lost a piece of filming gear and the staff were so respectful and helpful and we were able to track it down. I asked one of the security guards what his thoughts were on furries and he said Anthro NE was his favorite event to work. I asked if he was a furry, he said no. He likes it cause quote-"They know how to party"

Furries know how to party. They throw some of the best cons ever. While I haven't attended any traditional furry cons myself, I've been to the virtual online one in VRChat every year since 2020. I'm really glad you had a good time!

@@datekaname2246 They're quite fun! A lot of different events and all weekend long, there's DJ's in the club. And because it's online, if you get overwhelmed, you can just log off for a bit! I can't handle big crowds so it's great for people like me!

also yeah the suits at 9:24 are called crawling quads, theyre basically just in the name and the person inside the suit is just crawling, theyre actually surprisingly easy to get in and out of and you can get in and out of them way faster than a regular suit
I see a lot of "being respectful" in the comments. Truth is you should always be respectful to everyone no matter what. What I respect is the fact you went in there as yourself, connected with people, and had fun experiencing something new. Hope your channel grows, keep that costume, it's worth it's weight in gold

I came from Beta’s video to drop a like and a comment! Thank you for being super respectful and being open minded! Your research on the convention is something I also did not expect. Even though I didn’t go, I would recommend going again! (Also try not to get suits off of eBay 😭 they’re usually scams and poor quality suits based off of someone’s existing character)

As someone who watched negative experiences that youtubers made as well as positives I must say it really depends on your mindset that creates the mood, you know. Honestly, I think that this video was sooo funny and somehow cute even tho Im not a furry and know pretty weird ones... fact is, not every human is the same, no matter what interest they have. Having a bad impression of a fandom or group just shows that maaaaybee youve seen the wrong side. (Not always tho, some suck.) Just be open for any new experience!

I loved this, it was very entertaining. If only more people like you would raid our cons. You were very respectful while still making the video completely hilarious. I will admit the square dancing was painful to watch... lol.. but otherwise people like you are always welcome to our cons. Its a nice change of pace to watch someone who isn't a total jerk (putting it in a yt friendly way.) Furries are very welcoming so genuinely a nice change of pace for a non-furry coming to a furry convention.

it definitely takes getting used to! Usually when I'm in suit, it's 10-14 hrs at a time, and because of the "sultry" look of my suit, my vision is severely limited. my mane covers my left eye (no vision there), and out my right eye, at arms length my vision is about the size of two hands side by side (roughly a dinner plate in size). I can see nothing below my muzzle in height. (heaven help any children in front of me!🤣) I try to have a handler with me as much as possible, otherwise I'm constantly running into, people, signs, even pillars, doorways and walls! 😂😂
and always after removing my head it takes a few minutes fur my eyes to get back in sync to focus together again
