It really scary to think what will happen if all the Family politicians of various states come to power at the center on the basis of freebies and communal cards. Will we ever have such a cohesive team to guide the country during tough times and take the country forward.

I completely agree with the way an Indian government official, has expressed that the west is dominated by a bunch of racist and hypocritic people ( unfortunately some of them have Indian origins - If they don't behave as they do they would not be in high places in west ).
People going to west to work and live should be aware of this. Quite a lot of Indians living abroad try to paint that west is trying to look after the rest of the world, they are fair socity, meritocratic etc, etc this generalisation is far from the truth
    🙏

All public funds that are given to citizens should be paid directly to their bank accounts without any intermediary to manage such payment. This is not done at several states (Bihar, for example). A national law mandating direct payment of public funds (wages, pensions etc etc) to individuals and institutions at state and local level will go a long way in reducing corruption at the local level.

To support what Sanjeev says with regards to country ratings - is income a factor in credit score in the US? No it is not. The 5 factors and their weightages for a FICO score in US are
    - payment history (35%),
    - amounts owed (30%),
    - length of credit history (15%),
    - new credit (10%) and
    - credit mix (10%).

So what I understand from his interview is that billionaires should thrive and continue to hog the majority of the fdi that flows into india in the coming years and he has no problem with that,Secondly they are open to do fta with uk which has been at the centerstage of propagating problems in india to serve their own interests and that of china and russia. He believes that big farmers should not be taxed so that corrupt low rung politicians and mid rung industrialists continue to evade taxes through this medium,he believes that administrative and legal reforms should be implemented in 20 years in other words no gaurantee of them happening,he believes in free sops for the poorest of poor rather than ensuring they get better pay for their yield in small farms, what he believes is that gst and digitalisation will be enough to magically turn into a dool proof growth engine for decades even though the world might be moving towards indiginisation and production of most things indigenously through robots,
Also he believes that formalisation of the economy which has so extensively believed in black economy can be diverted towards an utopian digital economy if left on them and do away with their instincts developed over decades,he propagates the west as the evil who was solely responsible for the propagation of ngos and the hand of indian businesman and politicians was obviously a farce,he believes in opposing the green steel but hasn't mentioned anything about developing 6g tech indigenously or the host of defence equipment, green hydrogen that we would be paying 100 times their TRUE value, mnrega and other subsidies should go but he won't mention the deal with the west which bars india to dole out subsidies to our poor in the new economic setup,he believes in development of infrastructure which shall emulate the policies of china who made irrelevant infrastructure at a break neck speed only to be in a state of bankruptcy,he is hoping inflation will come down which is for anyone with little bit of intellect would actually be termed as not something the country can control as international prices are not controlled by india alone,So from what I have heard this man seems to be talking senseless and if is left incharge will certainly make india reach the state of 1991.Hopefully we will not have to mortgage our temples gold this time around. He seems like a communist mole.

Your numbers are wrong. But yes poverty will remain even at 7 trillion USD. You need to realize, there is no magic wand to bring the whole nation out of poverty. It's an incremental thing. India is bringing people out of poverty at the fastest rate globally. That's what matters. Absolute numbers will look high but as long as they are trending down, better privileged citizens like us should feel happy about it.

If India has practised corruption for 65 years, then it will take atleast 25 years to unlearn this ‘fabulous’ practise. That too, if a leader who loves his country beyond anything else and offers selfless service remains at the helm. And if the citizens become less hypocrite and practise what they demand from leaders. There you have it.
