The fabulous art of playing an organ with no cable or indeed playing any of the notes at all. But let's be honest, KLF taking the piss as usual. Great song.
@@foljs5858 This was a live vocal from Bill. In the 60's - 90's many bands recorded 'new' versions of singles or new versions of their backing tracks to perform live vocals with. Many more simply used the released track and mimed. Particularly awful are some of the BBC Orchestra's attempts at recreating hit single arrangements for singers to do live vocals to. 'Slap my hand' and that's a deal. 'Up North, an Englishman's word is 'Final. Break your word and your less than shit. Reasonable ? High 5s to Those in OUR North.
I would've loved to see this live especially when the KLF sacrificed a sheep and then shot bullets in the air or burning £1 million. KLF surely was a strong inspiration for Headsmoke.
1. They sacrificed nothing, the sheep was already dead. 2. They fired blanks, not live rounds. 3. This wasn't the track they played, it was 3AM Eternal (The Black Room version with Extreme Noise Terror).
Well they got one thing right decades later, it's grim in grimsby and scunthorpe and hull and doncaster and sheffield and rotherham it's gim up north. Sept 2021🙄🙄🙄🤣😁😅😀😐😆
@SkinnyEMedia If only Sleaford Mods were only around 1991 that they could've even done a collaborative project alongside The KLF with this satirical yet awesome tune.
Not only the greatest TOTP performance of all time, but probably the high water mark of post war British culture
General Levi with Incredible coming a close second.
Very good!
It’s never played on the radio anymore (
I love the disdain on Drummond’s face as he’s reading the list. What a masterclass.
Strong 2012 Olympic opening ceremony vibes here, the KLF really were decades ahead of anything else

@@robwilliams6753 No, YOU'RE not the KLF!
This is what's missing in music these days. Absolute chaos.
Absolutely outstanding. The KLF taking the rise, whilst making decent music. Their like will never be seen again

Wanna bet! Watch out for the " prezident of propaganda" P.O.P watch out for the choas? It's about to explode...
This is an Outstanding piece of work. The KLF operated on a different level. Almost three decades on. No question. Outstanding.

For a short while the lads freed pop from the moguls. They deserve credit for that and for showing the rest of us that IT CAN BE DONE. Hail Eris!

Remember seeing this on TOTP at the time, one of the most memorable performances ever.
On Top Of The Pops the camera panned from The JAMs to Crowded House whose singer started their song by saying "It's Grim Down South"
It is grim down south I lived there for 20years people heads are always in there phones & live American live styles eating every 2 minutes
All time best BBC.
I wish I could’ve been there. This is absolutely brilliant! Only in Britain!
Yes as comment below, an all time great TOTP performance.
