I just bought the carry on Voyager and I'm so excited! Going to be using it for our Christmas in Hawaii trip. I love your reviews and you helped me figure out which luggage to buy! Thank you!!!
I never pack my “valuables” including important electronics, into a carry-on. Those always go into my personal item. (Seen other people’s valuables go missing, stolen or damaged, due to them being checked.) But these pro bags are still nice for items that would be nice to have easy access to… like toiletries, a hoodie/sweater, snacks, etc.
I am not a pro bag person but would probably choose the road runner if I had to choose one. This is a very helpful comparison for anyone on the fence about these two.
My laptop or tablet is ALWAYS in my personal bag. I have never cared for this pro fad as security/limited access is key for me. Latches and one access. _(That’s just me)_ .. But great comparison vid Lauren!!
Not likley to use either one, as I prefer keeping my laptop in my personal item, but I'm team Roadrunner all the way! More space for packing, lighter weight, less expensive - nice! I do like the sleek look of the Pro, though.
"Charge your phone the old fashioned way."-- In my day, we had phones mounted on the wall and they had long, spiral cords and it was always a treat (and by 'treat' I mean b*tch) to untangle it so you didnt have to stand inches from the wall if you didn't want to. 😂 Of course, my son always likes to tell me "Well, it's not YOUR day anymore!" when I tell him of my hardships growing up in the times of Laura Ingalls. 😏
im not a fan of pro bags yet unless I had TSA pre check because of accessibility and fragility of front side and less packing space. I always have to take a personal item in flight so for peace of mind I'd probably just put all my tech gear, meds and liquids under my seat anyway. if I had to pick id go with the less expensive, larger capacity, more lightweight Roadrunner because it looks like the front pocket has separate locks which isn't always a feature on most pro carryons. Otherwise a multifunctional carry-on underseat roller bag would do a better job even though it's softshell like the one you most recently compared by Underseat pro or a Nomad duffel or tote The other thing with the portable charging wiring and ejectable battery features on some of these carryons isn't a deal breaker for me either cause they still have to be pulled out before TSA security and then put back in your carryon
I’ve asked July to send me a trunk to review and they have said no. However, it’s not aluminum so it will be lighter and less destructible than a full aluminum one of any brand. Also check out the monos hybrid. I prefer that one
I’ll need to compare this to the grace I have. I might watch through and then watch again comparing it to the one I have. I found a secret pocket behind the laptop part after a video. Who knew. I also make sure laptop can fit in personal if needed
okay, all I can think about is my front pocket opening when something accidentally pushes against the button if I ever have to check this thing. (we all know how luggage gets treated) - Hell, no, thanks

was going through many other videos, but only this video explained it well, thank you 👍
I’m glad you found it helpful!
You do a really great job on all your videos of showing the products. Very detailed, I really appreciate that. I love my Monos Hybrid carry-on!
Aw thank you! I’m glad you love your hybrid!

Oh yes I remember!
Thank you for the coupon code. The code they had listed didn’t work on the combo I wanted but yours did. ❤❤
No problem!
Nice comparison. I don't carry a laptop for travel (retired and not a vlog) so I wouldn't prefer either. Just a nice carry-on for me or a take-off.
Not a fan of pro bags but I am waiting to see if Heys has any sales (black Friday)

Love your helpful videos. Would you be able to review the Herschall bowen tech bag? its meant to be a dupe for Nomad lane's Bento bag
If the company agrees, possibly.
Can you review the Level 8 Grace, please?
Could you please do a comparison between the July Carry On Trunk vs Level 8 Aluminum Carry On?

@@ItsTheKellys ah ok thanks!!

I’ve never seen the grace in person, I think it’s an older bag. It looks like it has zero depth on the laptop side for inside packing. Not a fan.

Black Friday?
Most luggage companies launch their sales early so people can buy their bag and use it for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Yeah. I already got an email from level8 about Black Friday sale
@@ItsTheKellys Sorry missed the EARLY part 😉
@@maggieedwards9358same here… Tom Bihn and Osprey here…
i dont want to know how many suit cases shoved in her closet lol.
😂
I love my Carry on. I’m not a fan of Pro bags.
You’re the best babe
