It's disgraceful, but at least you got them. Thats what they want you to think to feel grateful to take away the pain of the cost. All these venues are so big that by the time they pack them out, it won't feel intimate or special anyway. It's all about maximising headcount for money.
Either..... 1) only allow fans into the concert, by having them show the credit/debit card that they bought their ticket with, as this will make reselling quite hard... or... 2) go back to selling physical tickets, which still make reselling hard, but still possible.... or.... 3) have fans pay in advance to the bands website for the right to buy tickets in advance and also apply rule number 1 above.
I weited for 5 h , 85k people was infront of me and the only tickets left were the once for 350-500£ thata just to much ... + Plain and room and food for there
Some oasis fans over here in Ireland will be paying wait for it, 4 or 5 hundred euro for a ticket and it gets better, up to 7 or 8 hundred euro for a hotel room, complete madness. They will tell you it's all about supply and demand but in reality it's just greed. And is it really worth it??🙄
Spend your money on improving yourself. Oasis are not the same anymore. 15 years have passed and Sloan’s voice is no longer the same. Plenty of gigs to watch on RUclips. Get a life! I was a huge fan 20 years ago and then I grew up.
Dynamic Pricing is nothing new, it's been going on for too long. People aren't forced to pay for the extortionate prices, we do have the choice to walk away. This isnt just about Oasis, this happens for far too many tours and not just stadium tours. So much talk over the years that various musicians and promoters have colluded with ticket agencies to make more money. Its nothing about demand, its purely about greed and then you have the circus around the gigs such as hotels, although that happens with sporting events too. The last government refused to do anything about this and I don't expect the current one too but ultimately, this is legal touting and the only way it will stop is if people stop paying the extortionate prices.
4hrs 15mins navigating a queue of 90,000 people, whilst logged in to my TM app that contains all my personal details, card information etc… Get to the front of the queue only to be told they suspect I’m a bot and suspended my session. Sent to the back of the queue at number 280,000 The shithouses.
As frustrating as it is and all the statements made here regarding touts being true, directing anger at them will achieve nothing, there will always be a market in cases like this. The ticketing system needs to be fair (fixed price from the outset - no dynamic pricing) and robust, only permitting the purchaser entry, or the purchaser through verified re-sale at face value, simply provide a form of ID or credit card to cross check your purchase. In addition after today’s shambles, why not execute this ticket sale via a ballot. A set window to enter and then a yay or nay email a few days later and save everyone the time.
I don't understand, why when buying tickets can there not be a system where your name is on the ticket and it can't be resold, unless it's to someone with the same name and date of birth?
There usually is, you can resell it though to someone else via special websites... owned by Ticketmaster, who charge a fee to transfer it to a different name.

The time to see Oasis was the early to mid 90s, they dropped in quality ever since 1996 and released truckloads of pub rock shite, if you've seen Liam recently you've basically seen Oasis. Couldn't be arsed giving Noel the Tory a dime of my money.
The whole reunion is a massive joke. It's a tale of the biggest cash grab in years. The brothers, the press, Ticketmaster, the media, hotels and finally the touts. The only fools in this equation are the mugs paying. Do yourself a favour and wait for the blu ray (because there will be a blu ray), then at least they can fix Liam's voice so he's in tune.
“Depriving people of seeing, Manchester?” Liam and Noel have lived in London since the mid 90s. It’s a real shame the joy of last week has degenerated into the ticketing and hotel sadness for some people. I think everyone has to take a long deep breath(and put their credit cards away) and think beyond the hype surrounding the event and calm down. It is NOT an Oasis reunion . It is Liam temporarily working with Noel and mainly the High flying birds singing Oasis songs. There will be a lot of buyers remorse around today. Especially when the people who don’t even like Oasis, and there’s load of them who have tickets, will realise they have better things to do next August and will be shifting their tickets in droves come next spring. 😂

It’s okay buddy. No one is offering.
If I’m in the queue at Tesco and my weekly shop x3 by the time I get to checkout due to dynamic pricing, how isn't that false advertising? Ticketmaster are the touts and same on Oasis & promoters if they said tickets were 500 it would have sold-out anyway give people the choice don’t waste our time.
I bought 4 standing tickets for dublin, 1800 euro for 4 tickets on ticketmaster that should have been only 600 euro. Ticketmaster are a disgrace
Get them sold and buy yourself a cruise.
Ticket master more like ticket touts
It's disgraceful, but at least you got them. Thats what they want you to think to feel grateful to take away the pain of the cost. All these venues are so big that by the time they pack them out, it won't feel intimate or special anyway. It's all about maximising headcount for money.
@jericho9653 Ticketmaster are such a disgrace you gave them 1800 euros as a protest - that'll teach them !
Shocking how Ticketmaster have handled this!
I weited for 5 h , 85k people was infront of me and the only tickets left were the once for 350-500£ thata just to much ... + Plain and room and food for there
It’s Ticketmaster. What did you expect?
I've got two if anyone wants them, noasis 2 nd August Royal British Legion, supper and pint thrown in
It’ll be a better night that
Some oasis fans over here in Ireland will be paying wait for it, 4 or 5 hundred euro for a ticket and it gets better, up to 7 or 8 hundred euro for a hotel room, complete madness.
I tried for 6hrs with no joy. I couldn't even get accessibility tickets.
@user-zp4di9to6t ha ha true but I think I've gone off them now
Coming from outside the places where Ticketmaster operates, I'm beyond horrified by the things that company usually does to consumers.
4hrs 15mins navigating a queue of 90,000 people, whilst logged in to my TM app that contains all my personal details, card information etc…
Get to the front of the queue only to be told they suspect I’m a bot and suspended my session. Sent to the back of the queue at number 280,000
The shithouses.
We got down to 380 on the web to be kicked of but I have stopped crying my heart out and I won’t look back in anger 😅more dates please oasis
Tried all day no joy. No chance I am paying a thief for a ticket. Regardless of how is labelled.
Saw them back in the day,now they want you to believe they are there for the fans, but as the weekend shows they’ve sold out to the man.
£500 to stay at Sachas. WTF. The place is the pits. Rated 126 out of 127 on Tripadvisor.
I'm always amazed that place is still in business whenever I'm in town. It looks like it hasn't stepped a day out of the 70's, or been painted since.
If you don't like the price don't go. It's only possible because people are willing to pay.
2 tickets first night £500 each from official Ticketmaster
Good on um making a few bob times are hard .£150 is a strip anyway. Haven’t those professional mancs got enough anyway. ?Why dont they do a free gig
Imagine if Oasis were any good.
Ooo you’re edgy. What a zinger. Imagine if they weren’t one of the most famous bands on the planet 🤡
FFS guy in the Argentina top defending the touts 🤦🏻♂️
He’s a little boy whose parents pay for everything, so has no concept of the value of money.
Re: touts, if you don't like it don't pay it only way to stop it
“In demand” tickets….. ticketmaster are disgusting themselves
Good on um making a few bob times are hard .£150 is a strip anyway. Haven’t those professional mancs got enough anyway. ?Why dont they do a free gig if there the band of the people
1.7k for a ticket is a disgrace..... I have two for sale for 2k.
The only way to win is not to play.
Y'all only find out now?? It's always gone on.
The time to see Oasis was the early to mid 90s, they dropped in quality ever since 1996 and released truckloads of pub rock shite, if you've seen Liam recently you've basically seen Oasis. Couldn't be arsed giving Noel the Tory a dime of my money.
Ticketmaster are a touting organization
The whole reunion is a massive joke. It's a tale of the biggest cash grab in years. The brothers, the press, Ticketmaster, the media, hotels and finally the touts. The only fools in this equation are the mugs paying. Do yourself a favour and wait for the blu ray (because there will be a blu ray), then at least they can fix Liam's voice so he's in tune.
Also the Gallagher bros get 50% of beer and food sales.for every £8 pint they get£4
Champagne Super-Capitalists... 🍾 🤑🤮
Just put the name on of the lead party & that person has to show id at the entrance, easy enough
@jim586 hopefully it will be raining heavily in the Heaton park area of Manchester on those gig nights - you and I can have a right laugh !
3:05 You’d have to wake up early in the morning to catch this guy out lol. He ain’t falling for shit.
The biggest ticket tout is ticketmadter and the artist!
Ticketmaster in on it. It would be so easy to ask fans to register their interest and then ballot..no queing, no increased prices. But they wont because they make money by people queing....hours wasted today 🤬
Ticketmaster the ultimate scapegoat 🤣🤣
They'd have to pay me 1000s to see them.
