I wouldn't give the security deposit back, this man has already cost you enough!

Omg so much snow and it looks beautiful. I hope all goes well with the quotes and that they aren’t outrageous. Glad you are pursuing taking him to court and fingers crossed they get him to pay up. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇‍♀️👏💪👍🙏💐🤞💵

The security deposit shouldn't be returned he ripped the thermostat off and left literal crap everywhere, plus wasn't paying rent even when you were working with him.

That's ok, it's ok!..... The winter is for hibernating anyway....that was funny 🤣.....but still true 😂

Personally, I would give him a big fat zero. I’ve had to do that with/tenants before and it’s not fun but bottom line for me is if they damage my property, I use the security deposit and they get 0🙂

Maybe change the perspective? You are healthy, your loved ones are healthy. You have a great place to live, not in your car.
The speed and outcome of the rental stuff is nothing you can change. Take it one bit at a time. Breathe.
And focus on what you can change. How you handle it. And how much money you save for your own land. ❤❤❤

  • @cali_love5977

Based on the damages on the deductible, he already lost his security deposit. And I would definitely be suing him for the rest. If he feels like he’s entitled to his security deposit back then he can make a counter suit after you sue him. He’s a joke.

Beautiful video background. I know you won’t be returning the deposit to the jerk. I hope his rental record reflects what he has done to your home. Sending positive vibes 😊❤😊

I hope you don’t give him a penny back. He owes YOU so much money.
The snow looks beautiful though. I hope that brings some happiness 😊

I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own, which was scary at 53 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. After 3 years, I am 56 yo and have put $9,000 in an IRA and $40,000 in my portfolio with CFA, Evelyn Infurna. Since the goal of getting a job was to invest for retirement and NOT up my lifestyle, I was able to scale this quickly to $150,000. If I can do this in a year, anyone can.

I don't know how he was able to rent your place to begin with. This is not an isolated manifestation of his character

Hi Rashel, I'm sorry to hear about your rental experience. The stories I've geard from you and others is why, when was had the money, I invested in the stock market rather than buying a house. You stress and anxietyy is palpable in this video.

So nice to see the beautiful snowy forest Rachel. So appreciate you standing out there in the cold to film it for us. ❤ You are such a trooper regarding the rental house. You always inspire me to have hope and take things one step at a time. Will keep you in my thoughts and hope all is in order and you're able to sell by next summer and find your perfect homestead property soon after.

Small claims court puts the burden on you to find the defendant’s assets (bank account, property etc…) So regular court is best, plus I’m sure the repairs and rent owed will kick it into the bigger court based on $ amount. Just know that it will all work out. ❤

It's time to say adiós to having "teams" manage your rental property. Time to strip down to basics. Enjoy nature, save all you can, and start being the philanthropist that you want to be.
