- Happy spooky season Dollies!
I’ve been super busy with my move this month going back and fourth, but I really didn’t want to miss out on Halloween on my first year here sooooooooooooo I decided to repurpose a mystery box project I signed up for hosted by The Doll Fairy. I used most of my own materials for this one but ran with the theme as best I could. This is my attempt to turn something cute into something slightly more intimidating lol I hope you enjoy!

Actually, you dodged a bullet there by not doing the veins in wire. The film would have had even worse bubbling otherwise, so it actually is better to press just the outer wing shape and then draw the veins on top. Dollightful has done this with her own fairy dolls. The feathers and holes were a nice touch, actually!

I have a cave club doll that I plan on customizing and I was really excited to see another doll artist using this brand I think they’re so adorable and as always she turned out gorgeous I don’t usually like tropical Themes but you nailed it and she has a great Voice once again 😂👍

😊😊😊😊 Thank You! Lol there was about 30 minutes where I thought I had ruined that fabric 😂 glad I didn’t. & Honestly I wish I saw more cave club customs, their faces are soooo cute! I have a few more dolls I plan on making that are from other brands, they’re fun to do. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with MH/EAH dolls but I’m enjoying myself exploring other brands for now 😊

You can find silicon finger protectors at a dollar store, craft store etc, that’ll save your fingers from burning via hot glue, Hextian taught me that one!

Honestly, you did a great job with turning a tropical island theme into something perfect that fits in with the season. Her hairstyle and faceup have to be my favorite aspects of the doll, but I will say I also really liked the skit at the end. Fun times!
