Anyway its faaaar easier to say what you cant do as John, more than what you can! The only reason I do the widow missions as John is because in the epilogue, if you do them as Arthur, he says that Arthur wrote fondly about her in his journal but she's not mentioned when you look for it.

this game needs a NewGame+ and it also needs some kind of in-game list of quest-lines that opens with this NG+ which would tell you what you havent completed yet on your account.. also also this NG+ could have easier Fast Travel to use (put a waypoint anywhere on map that is available - select tool-wheel and under crafting tools and camp, third option of a fast travel, that would get you somewhat close to the waypoint so that you dont like port yourself into places you are not supposed to be..) that would be magnificent
.I am currently playing as Arthur and leaving out any side missions that John can do, except for those missions that Arthur can do. The only exception is the Widow Charlotte's missions, which have a beautiful and rewarding continuation for Arthur and John (as she will allow John to loot anything in her house). 5:01 I'll keep this in mind as I save the game in Chapter 6 before Arthur's final two missions, and try to complete this encounter as John ( saving the game with him too). I like playing John more than Arthur because I like John's handwriting and drawings, and also his inability to swim adds more challenge, and most importantly, I played Red Dead Redemption 1.

I've finished Epilogue and mailed off my last batch for the taxidermist. Still waiting for a meeting to get the squirrel statue. It's been weeks and doesn't look like it's coming.

05:00 I faced Grager after the motherhood mission. Instead of using dementia I Shoot his house several times and Gerager got angry and started drawing and I defeated him and took a picture of him and this glitch did not happen So I think I solved the problem.🙂👍🏻
i left the last mission with Hamis for John so i could ride Bheull in the epioque. also the exotic side mission to get that sweet double action. and evelan miller side quest
One thing I did after a long break from the game was I downloaded a savegame from some guy on nexus, where basically he speedran the campain and did none of the side content. This was a unique way of experiencing the epilogue for me. Every side content out in the world was available to do as John, as well as challanges, trapper hunting ect. Can also recommend doing this after a break from RDR2, because Arthur has a kind of charm that John lacks, and playing through the story makes the swap glaringly obvious. It is a bit strange, because John definitely had some charm in RDR1. I feel like the whole epilogue and playing as John unfortunately was hastily made. I wish they made Rob Wiethoff spend a few more hours in the audio booth for the epilogue.
good video. But you can still do the emmet granger mission and not have it bug out beecher’s hope. If you beat up/kill all his animals granger will just get pissed off and then the duel will start, no pitchfork involved
I thought even being at the farm the game automatically teleports the pitchfork over to granger's, with no way to return it, if your way is true wow thats awesome!
after you finish the mission american venom, the credits play and you unlock the "endgame." Its all continous after that, but personally I like playing before that as Charles doesnt leave yet.
i didnt include the appleseed tree company or the central union railroad areas as they are both ambient open world discoveries, youre supposed to just randomly come across them as Arthur only and theyre locked in 1899. Both mini events are also completed fully before the epilogue! I mean theyre both temporary settlements I figured itd be self explanatory that they wouldnt still be there all the way in 1907. I wanted to focus on all the actual story/stranger missions, and all the extra content john can interact with

What if you kill Emmet Granger as John before the barn gets built?

everytime you look for arthur entry about charlotte, the pages get stuck together. that’s why you can’t find it

I started the Margaret and Magnifico mission as Arthur can I continue both as John?
i believe so! if a stranger mission wasnt mentioned its because it fully works with John or Arthur. The ones I named are either bugged or arthur only

You forgot an event in the "Central Union Railroad Camp" that only Arthur can do
