Also got tip of this house robbery from an inmate. I didn't kill him, strauss sent me to collect debt and he remembered and try killing me so you still had to kill him
I always played with super low honor, but killing his dad in front of him is sick. Then TAUNTING the poor kid about it is outrageous. I couldn’t bring myself to do that, so I just didn’t.
Even at his lowest honor, it never felt right for Arthur's character to kill in cold blood like that. I never did it. Steal? Sure. Kill in self defense? Yep. But not in cold blood.
The ones that were in cold blood were when people talked shit and I roped them while I was on my horse and I thought they were gunna live didn’t know they would die some let me drag for awhile some don’t. Lesson learned
I always kills the father when getting the money for the quest, then i go into his room and read the letter then back to the boys room and tells him about his mom, then i go back a bit later and find him gone, after some time i meet them and he thnx me for letting him know. And i always end the game with max or close to max honor. Still i get 1500 ish kills on my way there.
14:11 So, unless Strauss was lending money long before the start of the game, in my save file, this debt collection created a paradox, because I killed the father and son all the way back in Chapter 2 while exploring. I never knew about the money in the chimney, though.
I always new about this. After the B&E Mission, I just loot the chest outside of the House. I just can't loot them after that. If you don't kill anyone they'll keep going in the epologue. 🐎...💨..💨 Call me an old softy.
there's a glitch you can do instead. if u complete the mission at where you stolen the braitwhite's horses for clay, and after that you started any mission, you can resell the same horse with clay many times as you want, and you still keeping the horse
I been having this game since it came out but never played it until recently and I was doing my own thing never killing anyone just for ths sake of killing them until I found a place called Butcher's Creek. I went try to talk to the guy and he starts to punch me so we start fighting with fists. Next thing you know like 14 of those hillbillys jump me and then they started shooting me there was nothing I could do but die. They made me lose my Civil War hat, Civil War knife, legendary beaver pelt, legendary bear pelt and so I couldn't let that ride. I made a new save then came back and gave them the business. Killed every last one of them. So now Im on the war path and anyone can get it. This old Captain asked me north or south? So I tossed a stick of dynamite at him and again I just tried to do my own thing but they insist on playing dirty not knowing Arthur is one of the dirtiest, most grimey folks roaming the country side. They forced my hand and I reacted accordingly. It is their fault Im going from town to town leaving a trail of bodies in my wake. I didn't want this but they just had to push me to my limit. Stealing my legendary pelts was the final straw and tomor I'm going back to my camp and try to kill Dutch. You think he cries alot now wait until I pump him full of express rounds the bastard
When you first enter the gun shop in San Denis a black kid bumps into you in the doorway, and picks your pocket. You can hunt him down he Carries $100s!

I give that place a wide berth every playthrough. Seems overly callous to rob it. It always ends in a needless death, and you totally ruin one or the other resident's lives. And for what, 50 to 100 dollars? You can get as much if not more from far less despicable robberies and even from just foraging specific abandoned locations. Beside which so long as your even "barely" competent at playing the actual game, you "should get 10 to 12,000 dollars from the main questline, and that's BEFORE you change protagonist. Once you complete the epilogue you should just naturally have 18k to 22k, depending on how well you've done. You can literally complete the entire game without KILLING any NPC's in any home robbery. [Because usually you go in at night and can stealth about, unless it's a rival gang location or whatever]
I always fish salmon and hunt like a freak wherever I go, and make pretty good money. Plus, most of the loot respawns every 10 to 15 in game days. I don't like killing everyone either. I leave Arthur's money in the Pig Farm for John in the epologue, which at least $30,000 and most of the jewelry in Arthur's Pouch if you save any, goes to John too. In the epologue most of the loot has respawned, so it's easy to loot and get John Cash.
You can tie the father and go to his room and pick up the letter . Then go to his son and keep pressing antagonize. Arthur will eventually tell him about the letters
X is for corpses and unconscious people. To know if a person is alive all you do is point a gun at them, if the dot is red, they’re alive, if the dot is grey, they’re dead.
None of this is hidden. If it took you 5000 hours to find it then you seriously need to analyze what your life is. To spend that much time playing this game is outrageous to begin with
It seems worthy of 5k hours with all the different encounters camp convos and choice outcomes all the challenges to be completed and just all around goofing off. I've heard there's over half million voice lines recorded and I don't even know that includes the 40hrs+ of cut content or not.

5000 hours played means approximately: - 208.33 days of continuous play, without a break (if you divide 5000 hours by 24 hours a day). - 694.44 hours per month (if you play 24 hours every day). - 2.74 hours per day for 5 years (if you play daily).
