It's not alleged, he definitely did die that way. The coroner reported that he hadn't had a bowel movement in 4 MONTHS. Makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it, poor bastard.

@@muradov_sw I guess emerald ranch is also fine, but there is also the owner's daughter who never leaves the house, and whom Seamus sometimes sees through the window. Kinda creepy.
I never noticed Tommy in the bar during the mission drunkenly looking for Lenny. Kind of sad that he ended up with a brain injury, shows what work went into this game with the little details like that
The sheriff in Valentine has more secrets than the affair with Moira. You can see hem taking bribes from the o’Driscolls hiding in the back of the Doctors office.
@strangeman There is an interaction with the Sheriff after he kills Moira... At around 4.15am every day he walks up to the balcony to smoke. If you time it right, you can go up there after he's killed her and Arthur will say "Returning to the scene of the crime?". I activated it once but unfortunately I ran into him before he could respond. Has anyone else activated this? I'd love to know the rest of the conversation!
I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one who occasionally accidently punches some innocent bystander during a first fight. Arthur once punched a lady while fighting with Jon in the saloon. All I saw was her feet go flying. Then on another occasion John was fighting some random NPC in the street outside Smithfield saloon and punched his horse. The Horse lashed out and kicked the NPC stone dead.
17:49 YES I would love a revisited one! Out of all the RDR2 mysteries I think the Valentine curse one is up there as the one of the most "mysterious" and intriguing ones.
The prostitute side mission with the pigs is a Deadwood reference. Episode one, Trixie, a prostitute at the Gem, shoots a guy for beatin on her. Most bodies (especially bodies at the hotel and the Gem) are fed to Mr Wu's pigs.
hey strange man. have you ever noticed that the whole map used to be underwater? i realized it when i climbed the sacred mountain rains falls takes you up near the wapiti rez. the water from emerald ranch is just the water that was left over during the flood. and the rocks in the distance is what used to be above sea level.
There is another secret you can find in Valentine, Francis Sinclair is not the only one with the Epsilon program, if you go to the Graveyard at Valentine you can find a Eugene Dunn. On his gravestone you can find an Epsilon symbol, the wings with hourglass, another odd coincidence is Eugene had two twin sisters that died the same year Eugene died. An odd connection but i think the Epsilon program in RDR2 would be a good video for you to revisit.
There's actually more than 2 encounters with Grizzled Jon, you can have about 3 or 4 with different dialogue every time. Even if you don't fight him or take his hat he disappears after a certain amount of encounters and never comes back.
I've always wondered if Jon was one of those settlers who massacred the natives in order to found Valentine... From what he said, it seems that way. He's still one of the toughest npcs tho. Oh and a remake of the Valentine curse video would be awesome.
There is a VERY rare mission that you can get in Valentine as early as chapter 2 that I have only gotten once (in 7 playthroughs). At night across from the Inn (by the new building they're working on), a man will beckon you over and explain that he is going to cheat his business partner who is staying at the Inn. You cam go alone with him, decline or even keep the money for yourself. It also gives us a unique character behind the desk at the Inn, instead of the usual fella there.
Your reactions during gameplay are priceless! They add so much entertainment value to the video. I find myself laughing out loud at your genuine responses, and it’s refreshing to see someone so passionate about gaming. Your authenticity makes your content relatable and enjoyable, and it’s clear that you love what you do. Keep sharing those moments; they truly resonate with your audience!
There is another event when we briefly see Thomas Downes before he infects Arthur: When Arthur is thrown out of the window fighting against Tommy and then winning the fight, you can see Thomas Downes being the first one trying to intervene. Arthur immediately leaves the area and in the background we can briefly see that Mr. Downes tries to help Tommy, who is still lying in the mud.
After so many playthroughs of this game that I've lost count and yet half of this stuff I did not genuinely know about. To this day I am consistently STILL finding things that I've missed. The very many different interactions mostly. Thumbs up from a long time subscriber. I come to your channel for the gospel of RDR2 according to you to catch up on everything that I'm missing and then head in-game to play them out. Thank you.. sincerely..
Just north of MacLean’s house (between the ranch and the river) can be found the skeletons of two groups of convicts in shackles. For most of them their legs appeared to have been cut off just above the ankles, and one of them is propped up in a seated position against a tree, his head severed from his body. Any ideas as to the story behind this strange scene?
Hey StrangeMan, I found a cool detail when I finished the whole game story. There was a thunderstorm, and I found out that animals and cattle get spooked of sudden thunder, you could add this to the next video in the details series :D
I just recently had to sell my Xbox series S because I have a kid on the way and we just really Need the money. I’m gonna miss playing red dead but as soon as I have the money I’m immediately buying a ps5 or series X to get the most out of gaming. But god damn I’m gonna miss riding my ol miss and just enjoying the scenery in red dead. 😞😢

I like that the game doesn't even give you a prompt to read the Chelonian 'bible' when it's offered to you. Arthur just turns it down out of principle alone.
John is my favorite sparring partner. All I have to do is put on the raccoon hat, and he comes at me like a bull. As long as he lands the first hit, it's not assault.
Grizzled Jon is wearing something similar to the Legendary Panther cloak so I kind of respect him if he actually took some like Giagulo down. Also love having a nice scrap with him! He’s the best fist fighter in Valentine outside of poor Tommy.
More and more I see videos like this. I think this was the greatest game ever produced. I have way more love for RDR 2 then any GTA series. Not to say they wasn't good. But the amount of details, story telling, and other side tell's is extraordinary. Question is will the New GTA surpass RDR2 on all aspects??? 🤔
I never knew about the Great Storm plaque on the church? Makes me wonder if the storm came about as a result of the curse that was placed upon Valentine.
sometimes i go to a place called woodhaven lakes and near there is a place that looks similar to valentine and theres even a church at the same exact area
Fun fact I found out last night. The random encounter bear valentine where the odriscolls are trying to break their friend out of the wagon. Well if you hogtied him and take him to the jail rather than killing him you get money for it 😂😂 Rockstar really went all out
Just found your RUclips channel. Good work! I just started another play through and this game is just incredible. One of best games ever made. I’m gonna watch some of your other videos. Any recommendations from anyone is welcome. God speed cowboys 👍🤠
if you help the prostitute, you can tell the valentine sheriff what she did. you can also watch him arrest her while cleaning up the mess and he will give you money afterwards.
Strange Man - I only did the story missions with Arthur and all the side-content exclusively with Marston. What are the big differences? Am I missing a lot of random encounters in the open world by only using Marston?

Wait! The Knickerbocker crisis happened in 1907, but the storyline with Arthur takes place in 1899. Either they cameoed the knickerbocker crisis or it's an error. Anyways, love watching RDR2 content.
The constipated guy being called Mr. Presley is probably a reference to Elvis Presley - who allegedly died while on the toilet.
💩
Now that’s something entertaining
Supposedly, one of the headlines in a paper the day after Presley died was "King Dies on Throne."
It's funny, because bananas often help with "regularity"... but those fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches?

I like Tumbleweed more for its Western feeling but Valentine is almost on the same high Aproval

That doesn’t mean it’s a deadwood reference. 🤦♂️
