There's also a missable random encounter in Chapter II where if you're wandering around New Hanover, Javier will come find you and ask you to help him rescue Bill from some bounty hunters

@@HockeyM.M. I’ve had I want to say 6 play throughs and I’ve only seen it a few times, but if you stick around Chapter 2 long enough it’ll eventually spawn, I find that it usually spawns around The Heartlands specifically near the Cornwall Oil Refinery
@@calebdickerson2003had it happen recently on my current play through, sold a wagon at emerald, started heading south and right at the first tree line he came riding out, Javi holds a special place in my heart and Bill, well, Bill is Bill. so ofc i was inclined to help, absolutely missed this on my first multiple play throughs of this, so seeing this comment shortly after having it is insane

I think for the Hosea part, I think you meant the part where two strangers accidentally found the camp and asked Hosea what they were doing there.

I’ve only caught this one once, and it was thanks to having the subtitles turned on. I saw random dialogue popped up from afar with the name of Mrs. Downes I was so shocked. Easily missabke
Had this happen to me, cool detail seeing her come to camp
Ms downes was actually at the camp paying some of the money they owed I seen another video which explained why she was there
[2:58] A couple of things about this secret scene. If you rob the chimney before confronting Old Bob Crawford, he will give a second location for a second stash, either under his own bed, or in his son's room in the cabinet. This actually doubles the take from the mission. Strangely, it also doesn't forgo the "don't get spotted" mission medal requirement. There's dialog later with Hosea about this.
I only learned about the chest under his bed after 700 hours in story mode 😭
I have seen that chest every single time I've played the game yet had no way of knowing how to interact with it. Neat.
His son’s cabinet only has supplies, he has like $300-$400 under his bed. You have to loot the entire house to be able to get it when interrogating him.

There is a another encounter in chapter 2, when you sit by the fire in camp, Lenny will come there and tell you how he lost his dads pocket watches. You can give him one right on the spot
1) 16:54 After getting the Bolt Action Rifle off the guards, shoot the guy attacking charles on the cliff and when you run toward where they have Sean, turn back around the ridge and you can get the Machete early.
2) Get the rolling block rifle very early: Ride back with Hosea after your mission with the legendary bear. Follow Hosea into camp all the way until he dismounts and Silver Dollar will pass by you so jump on to him/her, ride out of camp, equip dynamite and use it on SD and *boom* -- pun intended, the rolling block becomes available!
That sounds so much more easier than doing the companion glitch and blowing him up his horse
@@swabby2x5 that companion glitch is a pain to pulloff. There was a time (maybe 2019) when it was easy to trigger. Hilarious how they cant die and just shoot the $$%& out of everything

Please drop the A.I voice-over, it drops the video quality immensely. You've got a great formula going, please don't change it for no reason
i love the smoothness of the raw videos, i mean watching and remembering rdr2, without loud music or cut parts, just the complete scene then your voice is an introduction for the next scene, your work is simply sublime, I would even say it's kinda ASMR, keep it up.

Another item request is a pipe for Dutch. If you see him smoking a cigar by his tent, go talk to him and he will talk about a pipe. It can be found in big valley opposite hanging dog ranch in the cabin where a grizzly bear kills a man inside his cabin

I loved this video, i just discovered a lot of things that i missed on my playthrough. Now im waiting for Chapter 3🤩
I recently found a very small secret scene involving "Money Lending and Other Sins - III" and "We Loved Once and True - I". The later unlocks once "Money Lending and Other Sins - II" and "Paying a Social Call" completes. However, if Arthur reads the letter, a short cut scene with Strauss happens and a conversation about Downes, and "Money Lending and Other Sins - III" is force started (Arthur must complete it before starting any other mission or sleeping) ruclips.net/video/uhH3ak_joaM/видео.html
In one of my playthroughs I also had Dutch tell me to go help Strauss who was a few yards away and an extra voice line plays with Dutch saying "Arthur here will help you"

@@snarlymocha325 As far as I can tell, there's no reason to force it at this point. Nothing in the We Loved Once and True mission strand refers to his TB.
The punch thrown at Seamus' cousin is actually pretty accurate, considering he's already lying down. I doubt they felt the need to add the physics of the bed compressing from the force, so he just was still

RDR2 Javier is nothing like RDR1 Javier, he is very much a protagonist in the second game. Him, Lenny and Sean deserved much more mission time in the game

It's tied up to the fence behind the main cabin.
Interestingly, I found this place before Javier told me about it in camp. I solo'ed the encounter.
Everybody was alive, re-spawned, and ready to kill again with me and Javier. :D
I got the special horse, twice. :) It's a fun one.
(Hint: All you need is a bow, as all headshots and torso shots are fatal. Oh, and; toss sticks of dynamite at the barn!)

In the camp is also an option to get an mission when talking to Dutch (when he is in the early morning smoking outside his tent) to find him an pipe.

And near Valentine is an house being build by an dad and his 2 sons, several small quest, easy missable quests, cause day by day they progress..
yes, that father and his sons, I came across them by following random gunshots and saved them from the o'driscals and progressed from there

documentation of all of this game's many encounters and scenarios and various events, is perfect and to do so in direct analysis of whats' limited or missable is greater

So not related to Ch. 2 at all but if you agree to help Sadie and go with her to Hanging Dog Ranch to finish off the O'Driscolls, she, obviously, murders a member named Tom who is the man that murdered her husband. After Sadie leaves at the end of the mission and you go back in the main house, you can loot Tom's corpse and find a letter from Colm talking about his execution and the fact that he got caught in bed with Lillian Powell.
Is Lillian the woman from the bar in Saint Denis? And I always wondered what the point of her was since she had a name, but you couldn’t do anything with her r

You can steal the Bolt Action from the Sheriff in Valentine at a public hanging or any other time you see him equipped with it
Hah! I'm just finishing up chapter 2 right now. Missed to leave the antique watch for myself and just now learned about the bolt action rifle but otherwise I'm all set. Collecting pelts for the satchel and dodging Downes for the moment...
You can still get the bolt action early, you have to kill the Valentine sheriff during a hanging but make sure he doesn’t spot you cause he will switch from the bolt action to a repeater
I think Perfect Pelts is different for everyone. Got the Panther easy, but been killed by the Cougar 4 times! It's the last one I need! None of the YT videos I watched helped.
@@Will-Max Bow and arrow helped me so much. With guns it will automatically double tag sometimes but you can only take once with a bow and arrow. Once you're in dead eye just immediately focus on the head. Stay on your horse and walk slowly in the spawn area.
@@stinkyliuuqz I tried arrow to the head with a three star, and the animal ended up a 2 star. So you ride your horse right into the corral?

Can I mention one missable in Chapter 1?
During mission "Old Friends", you can acquire Micah's revolver earlier. I can confirm this worked for me in my last playthrough; you just have to disarm one of the O'Driscolls so he pulls out a knife and lead him towards Micah, then there's a chance he'll attack him, knocking the revolver from his hand.
Also during “old friends” if you loot enough supplies you can walk to Wallace station using health tonics and food you looted and you can save Arthur’s winter coat zipped up by going into the wardrobe in the general store

Theres also an encounter you meet Javier near cumberland falls i think and he tells you that Bill was captured by bounty hunters, this only kicks in after hosea tells Bill to go hunting or rob someone instead of sitting on his arse at camp, it's my first time ever getting it, and this was on my 5th or 6th play through

I've always missed the rabbit stew and Sean also only gotten the bolt action rifle once
There is another variation of freeing Micah if you kill the lawmen but don't grab the keys and blow the cell door open with dynamite
in house robing mission we can get double money if we first go to chimney and loot money and then if we go to up stairs and threat that person he will say it is in something like cupboard which is close to his bed
the one where you break into the house for shamus he also has a loot box under his bed

Getting Pearson's rabbit mission is always a pain for me to start. I've spent soooo much time watching him and riding out and back / doing small things in and around camp
Make sure Kieran's mission is not available. I tried forever until i saw a rockworth video who sleuthed that if Kieran's mission is available you can't get the jacket. I must have tried at least 50 times. Did Kieran's mission and presto. Just hang around the camp between 1000-1200h and walk up to Pearson when he starts working at the little table at the side of the wagon and the mission will spawn. You don't need to be half dead, or not wear a jacket or whatever and Pearson does not have to be whistling a particular tune etc etc.

I just ran into something I've never seen in my previous plays or any video. At the ball of the Saint Denis mayor's house with Angelo Bronte, you can go off with Dutch and listen to a conversation about the riverboat poker game. also, if you were to head to the other side of the party, you can save Algernon Wasp from choking, who then introduces himself. There may be more I didn't get to.
It may lead into a new cut scene introduction to Algernon's missions... not sure myself.
