It sucks that either the plane or the livery or both are now consistently exluded from most new games :( It is pretty much exclusively what i use in the ps2 games that have it, and i can tell you that with this mod you have greatly extended the replay value of PW for me personally ;)
Given how well they've been flattened in this video the Federation should be on the back foot even after the Cascadians withdrew, the only non infantry assets left in Presidia on the Feddie side are two AA guns.
i've tested a lot of planes for clearing this mission. i never thought to use the F/S-15. i guess it performs better than the Chimera with those gun pods. however the slower Anti-ship Missile is more reliable than UGBL.
Keep in mind that here I was playing with the glass cannon modifier - hence the gunpods shredding the ships. But I have completed the mission several times without the modifier (destroying the fleet), it is doable, certainly not very efficient though. UGBL is mostly useless, I just didn't feel like taking MLAG as I wanted to showcase the epicness of engaging ships at close range :) True, ASM can deal with the battleships easily, but where is the fun in that?
It's been a long time since i've seen the f-15 ACTIVE in any plane based game. The last one I remember is HAWX on the 360. Now I kinda want to experience this game as an addition to my experiences in Ace Combat 7 and the HAWX games. They're both great plane combat games, and this one looks like a blast too.
@@jroland94 I actually haven't, because I didn't grow up with a ps2 unfortunately. I do know of the other games and know the basics of their stories though.
