Try out Shea Moisture. They're really good for dry and frizzy hair. Their 10-in1 miracle styler is a dream. And their smooth and tame shampoo and conditioner are my favorites. Plus they smell amazing. Only problem is that it isn't cheap but you also don't need a whole lot. My hair is really frizzy and dry and these have helped a lot.

I also have psoriasis and just went to the dermatologist last week. Psoriasis is the opposite of what most people think. It is the over production of oils on your scalp. Washing more often will help. I was also washing my hair once a week and then once I saw a doctor and he gave me medicated shampoo, washing it more often has helped :)

Haha that's what I always do when I want to do colors in my hair but don't wanna commit to a full head of crazy colors. But only a little so then if I'm sick of it then it's only like 3 inches to cut off

Feel you about the washing girl. If I wash my hair more than once a week it gets all oily and nasty. So much healthier for the hair to not be washed that often 🙏🏻

I know you said you curl your hair away from your face, but since you put all your hair on one side, try alternating each piece between turning away from your face and towards your face and it will give you so much more volume! I do this to mine and love the way it turns out 😊

Hi Whitney! I’m a hairstylist in Indiana. Have you ever tried Davines products? They are an Italian line. Almost all are vegan without sulfates. The reason I ask is they have a shampoo and scalp treatment that would nearly cure the psoriasis on your scalp. It’s called Davines Natural Tech Purifying anti-dandruff shampoo and Purifying gel. I think you would be pleasantly surprised at how well it works!
Whit !! I too wash my hair once a week cause aint nobody got time for that ! My favorite combo to keep my hair « looking clean » is to apply a bit of baby powder to get that volume and suck the oil and then use the baptiste dry shampoo in my hair color (blond when I was blond and brown now) to remove the white cast from baby powder. This technique can last 2-3 days WITHOUT having to reapplying anything. Puree magic
