Hi I love your intricate patterns. I was wondering if you would ever consider making a video on how to figure out what kind of stitches to use when writing patterns. For example how do you figure out what stitches will make something look like the wave of a lettuce or how to make toes for a paw etc. I really want to start writing patterns to sell but it feels overwhelming when you can't figure that kind of stuff out. Greatly appreciate any advice you have. Love your channel!
This tutorial was amazing. Ngl, I was skeptical that I could recreate this, and every time I started a piece, I was like "this can't be right, I'm messing it up," but it totally worked out! So so cute.
In row 3 of the head joining piece, the pattern is 2[sc,inc,sc], sc, 2[inc, 2sc]. I've counted several times and that only comes to 17 stitches instead of 18. Am i missing something? Thank you, it's an adorable pattern!!
This is such an amazing pattern! I’ve never seen someone make such cool shapes out of different stitches. A great way to practice color changes, too! I only had to make a slight adjustment with attaching the ears because I’m left-handed. The instruction was so thorough and clear! Thank you! 🖤🤍
You are by far my favorite crochet artiste to watch on RUclips! You are very good at teaching your techniques, but also your Dad jokes are hilarious and this makes your videos pleasant to watch. Thank you for your hard work! ❤
"Single crochet 3 together" - insert your hook through the front loops of the nextv3 stitches, pull up a loop through all three (can be done one at a time if this is too tricky), then yarn over and pull through all loops on hook. It's basically a decrease, just worked over 3 stitches instead of 2. :)
This pattern is adorable and I've been trying to make it, I'm at the part with the arms and I'm semi-new to crochet and especially amigurumi, still, so I was wondering, why is it that we need to do an increase, two decreases, and then another increase, out of curiosity, rather than just doing a single crochet all the way around, considering the arm already has six stitches at that point? :) Is it to move around where the stitches are or something? Thanks!
Hi! They are lovely! All your hard work paid off for sure! Could you do a tutorial of the sewing closed to closed piece without jump cuts? It was hard to tell which holes you were using
Rows 17 and 18 need some type of correction. Row 17 reads Grey: 8sc, dec, 6 sc; White 13 sc; Grey 9 sc, dec. (38) I've counted 100 times. That is not 38 stitches, it is 34. Row 18 reads Grey : 9 sc, Dec, 6 sc White: 10 sc Grey: 8sc, dec, sc (36) Again I counted 100 times that is not 36 stitches, it's 32 I have a feeling you inadvertently skipped two rows and17 and 18 should be 19 & 20. lease help. I am well into this project and enjoy it very much.
Hi! I've stared at this, and charted this, and I'm really sorry, but R17 adds up to 38, and R18 adds up to 36. R17: 8 + 1 + 6 + 13 + 9 +1 = 38 R18: 9 + 1 + 6 + 10 + 8 + 1 + 1 = 36 Is the issue possibly that your round isn't equalling those totals? Because that could indicate that you gained/lost stitches earlier in the piece. After R16 are you 40 stitches around?
@@ComplicatedKnots BTW. I figured if I made such a silly mistake, most likely it began at the beginning of thhe body nugget. So I took apart the whole nugget and started over and it has come out looking like yours. You are the best. Thanks.
All edits and updates will be here in this comment!
The Head/Joining piece R3 should read: 2[sc, inc, sc], 2sc, 2[inc, 2sc] for 18 stitches total.
i thought i was doing something wrong at this part, Thanks for catching it!
I can honestly say that I have never seen such a talented designer of crochet amigurumi such as yourself. I am completely in awe.

It is a gift for my daughter, I showed it to her and she loved it. I would appreciate it if you could clear my doubt so that I can continue doing it.

@@ComplicatedKnots Oops! My bad I was reading the wrong lines. Please forgive me. My 72 year old eyes sometimes play tricks on me.
