Can you tell me if the 17 and 19 SC in rows 28, 29, and 30 of the neck are intended to be the start of the back? Mine are on the side and I think I twisted somewhere
Complicated knots you are the best! Your videos are such high-quality, and you are criminally underrated. You are what inspired me to start crocheting, and the fact that you drop a brand new pattern for us every week is honestly astounding. Please, never stop doing what you do. I can’t tell you how much your videos make me smile every time I see one. You never fail to make my Thursday a little brighter. Thank you ❤
Thank you once again for another fabulous pattern. I make your patterns and sell them at my farmers market and a couple craft fairs. This year I made 2 of your skeletons and I didn't even get them displayed before they sold. You rock I just love how I can't keep your patterns on my table.
I suffer from anxiety but I have a friend that goes with me and if I need to step away she's got my back and she understands my issues. It's like baby steps first you have to put one foot in front of the other and before you know it your off and running. You should find the courage to do a craft fair I know you would love it.
I LOVE HIM. A giraffe's horns are called "ossicones". Okapis are the only other animal that has them, and it's just the boys. All the rest of the ossicone-bearing critters are extinct. Why do I know random things about giraffes? Well it's a "fun" story about my childhood fear 😅 A Story About Me: Once upon a time, my grandmother had a giraffe statue. It was heavy, about 4 ft tall, and had a stupid look on it's face. I HATED that thing. When I was really young, I was convinced it bit me. I wouldn't walk past it if the lights were off. Eventually my sister learned that I was scared of it. She would move it around the house so I would come across it at random. Come out of the bathroom, BOOM, that feckin' giraffe was there. Walk in the house, the giraffe was waiting to greet me at the door. When my grandmother moved, I was hoping she would get rid of it, but, no. My mother thought it was cute, and took the damn thing home with her. She had no idea I hated it. My sister nearly died laughing. I was to be haunted by this thing my whole life. This evolved into a rumor about me being afraid of giraffes. Not true, but I rolled with it. Morbid Giraffe is my tag on Twitch now.😂
So many techniques in one adorable giraffe! Those are my favorite patterns. I love your creativity! The spots - so effective. Thanks for working on this design!
I just finished mine at 10:30 p.m. What a great piece that you have given us Complicated Knots! Keep up the great work! I also learned in my crochet stitches that I need to make mine a little bit tighter especially on the legs.
I tried making a giraffe with a different pattern and tutorial, but it turned out looking like a reindeer 😂. I loved your tutorial and the giraffe actually turned out looking like a giraffe!! My lines for the spots aren't as beautiful and clean as yours, but I'm happy with it.
@ComplicatedKnots I seem to always end up twisted. Are the 17 and 19 sc in rows 28, 29, and 30 intended to be the start of the back? Mine are somehow along the side of the neck. I'm lost
I know this has nothing to do with giraffes but I recently made this pattern and I love the way you do your patterns and I was wondering if you could create a llama pattern because my sister's eighteenth birthday is coming up and she really wants me to make her a llama. I would really appretiate if you could make one. Thank you for all you do. Love you and all your work.
@@ComplicatedKnots Ouu an illithid, tarrasque, kobold, gelatinous cube, any of the classic dnd monster would be fantastic! I look forward to whatever you come up with! :)
I just finished and tested my icewing pattern. I would like to do a video on how to make one ,but I don't have a good place to do one and my current camera is my phone I have a desk I can do it on just don't have a good spot to put my phone
My first dozen videos were filmed by putting a metal rack on top of my desk and lining up the camera on my phone between the bars. Just in case that helps! :)
Is it possible that row 27 (head and body) should be : 4[inc, sc], 6 sc, 2[inc, sc] I think there is a missing ] because I can't get the right amount of stitches and I am not sure if my non-math mind got it right or not :P
Hello everyone! There's a small typo in R27, it should read: 4[inc, sc], 6sc, 2[inc, sc], for 24 stitches in total.
Ive made this twice now and its adorable. Once for my nephew and second for a coworker who loves giraffes😊

That is so awesome! I wish I was brave enough to do a craft fair!

This might be my favourite comment of all time.

I love that yours is more anatomically correct, and still adorable 🥰
My theory is that all animals are adorable, you just have to find what makes them cute :)
I LOVE this pattern. I'm already making my 6th

@@ComplicatedKnots Yes and I love that about them! 🤣

Hey I absolutely love your work, I've been making your dnd patterns and I was wondering if you could make some more dnd stuff! Thanks for everything!
I plan to early next year, anything in particular you'd like to see? :)
