The people that disliked this video are those people that dont have a French Horn and dont know how hard high notes are...
DiggoDoggo2 exactly
No joke
We just enjoy music more than circus. That's it
I have been playing for 4 years. I admit they are hard.
ong
This recording was made possible by Hetman valve oil..
The high notes weren’t even as impressive as the fact that he hit EVERY SINGLE NOTE
actually the high notes are more impressive if u play f horn
Parker Chinen probably true- I do play f horn. I mean the whole thing was pretty impressive, tbh I just wanted to acknowledge his accuracy, it was crazy
@@tegan2950 tru
This is how you shred on french horn lol
But how can one be so good at the French horn!!?? I play the horn to, and just wow.
Brynn Bowen ikr! its so hard. I love it, but to play at that level, just wow
Just practice
Brynn Bowen I know!! It’s almost incomprehensible (I play horn as well)
I just gave up at trying to learn it on horn, I’m too inexperienced💀
PK Horn!
fast, consistent, powerful air...badass.
RIP his embouchure
THE TONEEEEEE
I play horn and his fingers are just blurs!!!!!! And better yet HE HIT EVERY SINGLE NOTE!!!!! The flawless transition was amazing!!!!!
Flight of the Hornet ?
Excellent job.
This is an underrated comment.
HAHAHAHAHA
Hats off to you man. Even the sun appeared to witness it.
Wow! That man is a machine!
As a French horn player for 4 years, I can say this is amazing!
Put the speed to 2x, then it is even epicer (if that is a word)
Sanne Slotboom the laugh at the end in that speed is even funnier
@@TechnoReverseChannel OMG YES!
this is the most impressive thing i have ever seen
You know you're really good at horn when you make other horn players who watch this go "oh fuck off Lloyd you perfect bastard!"
Congratulations! Now it sounds like an actual bumblebee
Great job at those high notes
I'm most impressed by the clarity of that pedal C right at the end.... blimey
Only French horn in the school band squad where you at?
here🤣
My instructor says I am a very good horn player, but I won't say I am untill I can do THAT. Bravo! Bravo!
amazing, when you know how hard it is to play like that
as a french horn player, 2 words; holy FUCK
Wow, just Wow. I gotta go practice for another 100 years....
Masterful perfection. Bravo Frank!!!
My son turned me on to this. Mr Lloyd just did a master class at the university where my son is graduate assistant. Like...wow!
I met this guy. He’s very cool
It is said that Dennis Brain played it at a party with Philip Farkas on his single F valued horn.
fantastic mister Franck Lloyd!!! Bravissimo!!!!!
Bravo 👏
Wow! He just blew me away! I take a bow!
Stunning of course. I had some cracking in the sound on my headphones - either it's my headphones or maybe this was compressed before posted on RUclips and then compressed again? It didn't distract from the astonishing horn playing :-)
0:26 What's the technical name of those loud noises he does with the French Horn?
It could have been what's called a sforzando piano marking in the music, which means to suddenly get loud then quiet down, or it could have simply been an "accent" marking, which looks like this: ">" and basically means to put emphasis on the front of the note.
Yeah, and he was also stopping at the same time.
***** Yep, found it. Seems to be a fortissimo accented "stop".
he's just stopping it, it's where you cover the opening in the bell and the sound waves travel through the metal instead which gives it that brassy tone. I'm a french horn player.
Me and my section call it “buzzing” just plug the whole bell with your hand and play very loudly. Although you have to play a half step lower to sound normal. For instance, if you wanted to play a g, you’d have to play a g flat or f sharp
Dear glory
Wow. This is realy good.
Absolutely amazing.
I play french horn, I'm the best in the 7th grade (No joke, not trying to brag) out of three french horns, but I can not play that high, I'm trying to learn flight of the bumblebee and I think I might just be able to. Cool video by the way!
I really need to purchase this!
awesome!
love this!
Amazing
Oh my god he is amazing
wow just wow
El cornista mas virtuoso sin duda alguna
Unbelievable!!!!
ФАНТАСТИКА!!!ЛЛОЙД ТЫ ЛУЧШИЙ!!!
my valves would be sticking so much. thats so impressive
He must’ve used honey for his valve oil.
1:27 you can hear Engelbert Schmid laughing :D
SACRILEGIOUS
Where could someone get the sheet music for this specific arrangement???
That speed and range
Great! Where can I find the arragement?
Watching this make me ot of breath
Hello! Where can I buy sheet music?
Фантастика.
Where to find the music
😲how...
que bien se escuchan los armónicos graves
*sobs and throws out french horn*
how is this possible I would simply pass out and die
Why is this song SO popular I don’t get it
PIECE not song
Impossible
Why don't you use the Bb side of the horn when you reach the higher register? Is it because of fingering complications?
OSMOSIS JONES Bb side is actually a bit more complicated and uncomfortable to use when it comes to high ranges. Depends on the player
Please disregard the other commenter - that is nonsense.
He *is* actually using the Bb side for the high notes, however he has his trigger reversed such that it is on Bb by default, but goes to F when it is pressed. That's an arrangement common among high horn players, and also is pretty much ubiquitous in Germany.
Hey guys ya'll think I can play that? And yes I do have a french horn
My age is 18-5
really nice horn, I wish I had a con 11d. 8d is a little small for me and the 11d works a lot better in my opinion. Holtons are a no go for me, really small and air backs up.
11D should be a smaller horn than the 8D, this is a Schmid horn not a Con
What are you talking about 😂 8Ds are about as big as you'll find and Holton has so many different horns that you definitely can't over generalize
I played French horn in grade 7 band but now I play tenor saxophone in grade8
superfreek999 how could u
Funny 😀
ФАНТАСТИКА!
I play bass clarinet and can't even move my hands that fast
IM SORRY WHAT
What horn is that?
Schmid Double
+FhornPatrick haha of course you know, love your vids btw
