I remember the old style photo booths really well; they were still going strong even as late as the 1980s. At the time I always knew there was some kind of chemistry going on and that the next person could be having their photos taken while yours are being developed. But I've never seen the insides of one of these before! The ones I remember had a fan inside the delivery chute to help dry the photos before you collected them.
