Chris- Adding my appreciation for you creating these fantastic videos of your sorties. I'm a former RV-6, F-1, and Glasair TD owner, and you've brought back wonderful memories of sky dancing and tail chasing with our little gaggle of a few ex-AF guys (and wannabes like me) out of an airpark in south Florida. Having watched a few of your videos, I have to say that the flying was about the same, but your scenery is much better-- our low level runs along the swamp canals weren't quite as full of eye candy as your low levels! Anyway, thanks for the inspiration-- it may be time to get back on that horse again!
@ufcpa1. Thanks. Good to hear from fellow enthusiasts. I’d love to be on an airpark in Florida right about now. I’m tired of winter. But it stopped snowing and the sun was out today. I just got back from flying with a couple guys- checking out the snow covered mountains. It was amazing. I’ll see how the video looks, if it’s any good I’ll post.

@watchfordpilot. Hey Steve, thanks as always for your kind words. It’s a great group of guys, I’ll pass along your appreciation. Hope your weather has cleared up enough for your strip to dry out and get a few flights in. We’ve had a lot of snow storms come thru and a lot of snow on the ground but it always clears up for a few days in between storms. I’ll probably go for a spin today!

@@WheelsInTheSky yep, we’re just hunkering down thru all these snow storms. It’s been a bit rough on the flying opportunities so I haven’t been out in quite awhile. Hopefully the weather will give us a break here soon. Yes…it’d be great to see and meet you! Come on down!

Beautiful scenery expertly captured as always. Do you leave the cameras running full time, or do you control from your mobile phone?
@Elk Circle. Thanks. It’s always fun running down hill thru canyons. I usually just turn the camera on before getting in the plane. A 128mb sd card has plenty of room and the battery is good for just over an hour. That way I know the camera is on. In the summer, anything over an hour and you’re going to have a bug on the lens anyway. Occasionally I’ll use my phone or iPad to turn the camera on.
Wonderful video…which airport are you flying from?
@Patrick Jennings. Hi Pat. Morgan County Airport (42U). Cold Water Canyon is just south of North Ogden canyon and a short distance north of the airport.
I might be wrong, but based on the quality of that formation, I would say you guys are all ex-military. (And probably Air Force.)
