  • Do you have a broken MacBook Pro A1502 display? We’ll show you how to replace a Late 2013 MacBook Pro 13” Retina display!
As a certified computer technician, I'd advise that if you're not comfortable repairing your own laptop to take it to a professional or Apple. It could end up costing you more money if something goes wrong with the repair.
With that in mind, this moderate level repair for the MacBook Pro 13-inch display can take you at least 30 minutes to 1 hour with the right tools. You'll also need to find a display replacement part which you can most likely get on eBay.
If you're looking for a good toolkit, we recommend the one below. It has all different kinds of tools including an anti-static wrist strap.
As always, if you have any questions or ideas for other how-to's, please let us know in the comments below!

Just used your video to replace my macbook screen. I have the exact same model used here. Bought it 10 years ago, and have a fully functional display again. Let's go another 10 years haha. Thanks a bunch!!

I got mine from eBay. They have quite a few display replacements on there.

Lol haha. Figured I take care of that random bigotry , get that out of the way for ya, so the multitude of Neanderthal combing the ethosphere know a flag has already been planted on this vid and post ahahaha.
Great vid, do you have any suggestions for where to get parts? Our is it best to try to find an entire unit, with an alternate issue rendering it incapacitated, perhaps a bad battery or faulty keyboard …thus the owner wants to unload it for “parts.”
Is this advised? I’m leery of pixels being flat /non-existent in second hand screens or entire units, ,…

I'm so sorry for the super late response. For some reason it didn't show up in the dashboard at all. I usually buy an entire unit that has something else that's wrong with it. I kind of trust those more because I know it's an actual Apple manufactured screen.

Hmmmm a BROAD huh? Fixin electronic techy type thingies and such??? I duuuuuuunnnnnnoooooo….. Didn’t know that when I decided on this vid over other options…. Well, since I’m already here , I guuueeesssss we can give it a shot… skeptical tho, we shall see….
Should have to paint nails or something for arm/hand intensive vids, so viewer knows what to expect ahead of time….just a suggestion, tho not sure how it would impact the algorithm…
Well, have at it, I’m now tentatively intrigued if not optimistic…
