That last ring is a pain in the ass. Almost ran out of lives trying to get to it because Sonic wouldn't jump!!!!

same , sega should go out of business they make a jump n run where the biggest challenge is to get the character to fucking jump
@@deaththekid922 I'm having problems with that jump too. It's like the game forces you down and you can't jump high enough.

Theres a really easy way to do it guys. Before you start make sure you equip that time skill to slow down time and once you reach the checkpoint where you are getting ready to get the red ring use the time skill (mainly when the pillars are falling so you can get through them and it should last long enough for you to grab the red ring). And if you keep messing up make sure you have that check point so just go in the water, drown yourself and try again. Took me like 4 minutes. Hope this helps

@strifeexcalibur Wall jump is a learned skill from the start. You can even wall jump in Green Hill.

Helpful it took me forever to find them myself but since I'm already on planet wise I'll have to do it again lol.
Damn i did everything right for the last ring except for the air jump part. Guess doing it first time is too much to ask for.
For the last star ring, jump the moment you hit the second rail, you'll have a bit of time to process the boost as you're in the air.
So you have time to stop and plan your next move or reposition yourself. In the case of the solid moving blocks, it's to take your time and crush you. Kind of a double-standard.

Damn it! Whatever I do, I can't get the fifth ring. Sonic refuses to jump at all at that point.

The last ring is easy with the use of time slowdown skill. Always using that for quick leaps and stuff

Not a song you get an ability called "direct jump" it makes your wall jump faster

This game was a lot of fun- much better than Unleashed and 1000x better than Sonic 2006.
I just wish they would keep the original characters (Sonic,Tails,Knuckles,Robotnik) and ditch the rest, theyre so annoying.
