I had a 23zero soft top tent and it was a pain in the but setting it up and put it back together again in the morning. I end up going with the Alu Cab tent and I love it:)

Not a fan of rooftop tents. I thought were going to putting some type of rad camper on your rig? Want to see what your going for, to still be able to wheel your truck. It seems like your just doing product reviews, which is fine. I liked when you were going all over and showing us the country.

What a great roof top tent~ "camper" -- It's a bit pricey... but worth the convenience and security if you can afford it! Camping land is a great concept... My husband and I have been thinking along the same lines so our whole family can camp together without reservations! =) ~ Maria

Wow, That's the first hardshell pop-up I've seen that looks like it has enough space for 2 people to sleep comfortably. I need to look into this for my new build. What are the dimensions of the mattress?
I like it... better than pulling that camper trailer.. although I would prefer solid walls (protect from high winds and some lower temps) and more room to entertain.
I guess the fire pit will be the area to shoot the breeze.

Never gonna be a mars expidition vehicle with a gas engine...may want to upgrade to an Electric so you can recharge with the sun. But as far as earth is concerned your rig is perfect. Love your video man...keep them coming.

Good looking set up. But a bit of a fair weather rig IMHO. I can't see you full timing or handing harsh weather for long in this unit. Urban stealth is out as well. You will however be better able to navigate the more gnarly backcountry trails and tracks. Godspeed brother.
Would that tent fit on a bed of a truck to make it a waterproof tonneau cover and a tent? It looks like it's wide enough, just needs some gasket material and a way to mount it. That way you could still use the bed of the truck for camping gear.
Dope setup, do you think a dirt bike will fit in the bed under the rack system still or naah?

Thanks for the tour Dude. I was thinking of getting two of those roof toppers, one for my car and the other for a toy hauler/camper that will pull our dirt bikes around once I’m ready to start travelling with my son. You have me sold on them. One question I have is, how are they in the heat and snow? Cheers.
I’ve been in mine 118° in Death Valley and 2ft of snow on top in Zion. No issues either way.
I have a similar tent, I heat it using the Mr. Buddy Heater in the winter, gets through a snow storm just fine.

What size was your James baroud tent? Mine is the XL and would like to know how it would look on a Jeep.
Also did you have problems with the edge of the tent being a bit structurally soft due to not having cross bars supporting that tent full width? Looks like your mounting brackets are 6” short of reaching the edges.
Can you convince me why I should buy the brewed tent over anyone else’s what makes it better or is it just a name put on the side I appreciate your info thank you

My pop up camper got mold on it and I couldn’t stop it
Try washing it all, and I do mean all, down in vinegar. Let it dry for a day, then do it again, with another full day to dry, and see if that helps. As strange as it sounds, vinegar and water works better for canvas mold than bleach or any other sanitizer I've heard about.

@@randywilson6869 No. Use a common mixture of like 10 parts warm water, one part vinegar. You don't want the vinegar smell to linger after the washes. Just to displace and wash away the mold and spores.
Fun fact, that 10 prats warm water and one part vinegar thing is also what professional window washers often seem to like using to avoid streaking when they wash windows.
Would you be willing to sell me your brackets that you used to raise the rooftop tent to get some clearance for the hardtop? With your flatbed build, it looks like you don’t need those anymore.
