That’s the beauty of Pink Floyd, as a rule of thumb any Pink Floyd track from the Pulse live concert is absolutely stunning. Don’t think they are copyrighted. So if there’s a pulse version I suggest that’s the one to react to …longer guitar solo’s and by 1994 they had found exactly how they wanted it to sound.
What a great, genuine & heartfelt reaction to this amazing performance. Thank you for sharing it with us. It is so good to see that this unique band can still invoke emotions and introspection after all these years. It is a great validation of their artistry, and of your own kind soul. Thank you once again MDreezy, this really made my day a better one.
No sweat on pausing, rules are rules😉 We're all in this together and none of us will get out alive so why not love and care about each other? I think you're right on the money MDreeezy, it's time for the world to change. Great choice and great episode!
Lovely reaction and experience and thank you for choosing this. Even though Comfortably Numb gets all the love, I actually prefer the guitar solo in this one. No one and I mean, no one plays electric guitar like David Gilmour. There is something about his tone and how he evokes the deepest of emotions that others can only dream of. As you say, he is a master and this track is yet another masterpiece. Thanks again bro. 💙
There are a few songs that just burrow into your soul. This is one. "Brothers in Arms", from Dire Straits, is another. It's so powerful you can't ignore it. David Gilmour makes his guitar truly sing...as does Mark Knopffler. They don't just play notes, they tell a story. Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands -- I was lucky enough to seem them perform "The Wall" when it was first released. Stage crew actually built a wall of blocks across the stage in the first half. The band was hidden behind the wall. There were animations projected on the wall, and sometimes little windows would pop down and they'd be there playing. And at the end, you guessed it, the wall came crashing down. Not only extraordinary music but a great piece of theatre as well.

Whenever you think you’ve decided on the best Gilmour solo, then you listen to another, and another. And my favorite is actually from 2016. And I know that will change.
Whenever I think i’ve heard the perfect song David Gilmour comes along…. 🤯

There is no one like David! Been a fan since 1973. Great reaction!
Such a great song
Great reaction! Nobody comes close to David Gilmore, he’s the GOAT!! From a long time Floyd fan
One of the top three Pink Floyd songs, in my opinion. Might even be #1!
Wise beyond your young years!! Beautiful reaction!
Beautiful song, beautiful message.
Loved your reaction to this.incredible song with a message that is timeless! You have the gift of empathy.
Sorrow live pulse
It’s a show you need to experience ❤
The better version of Sorrow is from this Delicate Sound of Thunder tour (1988).
@@79BlackRose oh ok
I’d love him to react!💯🔥
Delicate Sound version is fantastic, but PULSE is the definitive version. David's in overdrive on that one.
@@ianfortier6796 I beg to differ.

You're a pro at this point.

This is the best mix of this performance I've heard. The bass is much more prominent. You can really appreciate Guy Pratt's playing.
Better than Comfortably Numb imho. The 2019 Remastered version of this concert video is stunning from start to finale.

Sorry, but this wasn't the best version: you must watch the 2019 restored and re-edited version.
