What a story teller....what a voice....I always feel like I've been blessed after hearing this song. I must have missed this reaction from 8 months ago....I'd be very interested in your reacting to John Farnham and his final performance from the stage show Jesus Christ Superstar. He played Jesus and his performance of Jesus in Gethsemane is one I'll never forget. It truly was 'The Agony in the Garden' from John. It is so tough to find one performance by GVB to react to, but, He Touched Me live is one of my favorites. I also enjoyed watching the late Elvis perform it as well. Jason Crabb is a Dove Awards winner and is a spectacular singer! He is not with GVB, though.
Dolly Parton sang this at a country music award show some 30 or 40 years ago. It was as good or better than this because a lot of the people in attendance were secular and the song moved them. By the way, the guy in the back with the goatee is Jason Crabb. Check him out too.
There is a difference between worship and a concert. This is a concert were people are singing religious songs. Worship is totally different and MUST be done exactly the way God demands. Just doing what you want and calling it worship is sinful. Remember when people in the old testament did that and God called it "strange fire" meaning what they were doing was not authorized by God rather they were doing their own thing and God was not happy and punishment was made! Nowhere can I find in scripture does God authorize a concert as worship. Don't get me wrong, a concert is fine but it's entertainment and not worship.
