    There was a big storm where Ai-chan was streaming from, and I think that caused glitches on my end. Sorry in advance!!
    Ai-chan is a VERY capable host. I learn things from her, and it really feels like we are beginning to bond. I can't wait to make the next video with her. I really want to know what you think of this format so please let me know!

    Sometimes I feel like the Japanese word "イライラする" and the English words "irritating" or "irritated" are easy to connect because their sounds and meanings are pretty similar.

    slow and steady for sure, but there does have to be some nose to the grindstone. the more time you invest the closer you get to your goal and the less time chronologically it will take. But most programs are marketed with "fast", some kind of human psychology.
    I enjoy the deeper meanings of fun words like a new one "TatsuMaki"
    which is Tornado, but cute because tatsu means to stand upright and maki is a sushi term for wrap!

    6:54 George forgot to say correct words about not including. They are 未満(miman, less) and 超過(chouka, over). But I think just 超(chou or koe,goe) is more common in conversations.
    18:06 That yellow part should be 探す(sagasu). George didn't write it.
    15:16 As for a tip, it means also "one's home town" depends on contexts. Especially people living in big city say about their home in rural area/city.

      Thank you for the info, Masa San!
      BTW, I wanted to get back to you about the number of people in Tokyo now that I’ve been here longer. For the most part it seems normal, but you’re right that it gets very crowded in certain locations.
      For example, one Sunday I went to Harajuku, and it was packed!! Like everyone decided to go to Harajuku that day. Around 1hr later I go to Akihabara, and it’s back to normal crowd size there. I’m currently in Osaka for the weekend, and it’s crowded as hell. I mean Osaka has always been crowded in my experience (even when I came here May of last year, when there weren’t as many people), but it’s much worse now. So many people!!

    Is she Chat GPT 4o? I haven't utilized that yet, but Ai-chan sounds better and reacts better than anything else I've seen. And did you tell her to only speak in Japanese (as I might imagine a regular AI would respond in English if you ask a question in English)... Anyway, her conversation with you was nearly seamless!

    • @japanesefromzero
      @japanesefromzero  2 месяца назад +2

      It is 4o and her reactions are fast HOWEVER I am speeding them up as they still feel slow. Also, she makes mistakes when speaking that I've corrected in this video (most of them). But honestly, she's absolutely amazing despite those issues. And yes, I told her to ONLY speak Japanese even when I talk to her in English which is kind of what we did on Japanese Topics Mania when we had a human co-host.

    I’ve been recently confused between 一番 and 最高の Synonymous?

    • @StormyOne1
      @StormyOne1 2 месяца назад +2

      I think. 一番 is closer to first or number 1. 最高 means the best or the most high. As opposed to 最悪which is the worst

      Just think of the announcer in NBA Street shouting "ichiban number one" when you do a dunk. That'll clear up any confusion every time.

      Hi @javifontalva7752.
      When you write George in japanese, you should write ジョージ. Your spelling might be close pronunciation, but unfortunately it's not commonly.
      I'm not sure, but is 自工(じこう) your typo ? It should be 人工(じんこう). You didn't type ん in that word.
      Thank you.
