It was fine for me, but I could have used some furigana for a couple things like 虹(didn't know that one), or 汚染(I know dirty but didn't know the second one. No biggie, figured them out on the 2nd listen.
Extremely impressive! She engages with you in a very natural way. I liked that Ai was able to tell you the name of the Japanese TV show you were thinking of that started with あっぱれ. And the ありえない "pink rainbow" she came up with was an inspired example!
Love how you corrected some of the speech in the subtitles This is probably the best Japanese sounding AI voice I've heard so far, I found most of them still have a *thick* American accent, which although humorous isn't so useful for Japanese learners
It's actually a really great conversation. I'm going to lean on the side of keeping these videos without English subtitles since I think it's a great way to expose your brain to Japanese (despite AI-chan's occasional mistakes)
I cheat and use the subtitles. When i read them, all the words in japanese become clear, i understand almost all the words... Anyone with the same experience?, im the only one?.
The problem I have with interacting with AI is although I understand I don't know if what they're saying is natural. For example when she said she しち色 But the note u put said なな色 So would しち色 be wrong or sound unnatural? Which would be the natural way to say it ?
Hi @prince223681. You notice good point. Shichiiro sounds unnatural. So George put a correct word "nanairo" as a natural word at 4:31. As an another natural word, nanasyoku also can work. Thank you.
wow just watched this, chatgpt has got so advanced... everyone is going to be talking to one of these very soon maybe in a year or so. youre a trailblaizer george!
Maybe AI-chan could be a fun partner for practising conversational/speaking skills! 😮 Rather like a (free!) alternative to sites like iTalki. That would be especially useful for self-studiers, if the AI's Japanese was accurate (pitch accent anyone 😆?)!
How do you think AI-chan did? Also how do you feel about leaving English subtitles out of the Japanese Topics Mania videos?
I would say it did good. But is AI AI?
@@japanizer She is 100% AI. And 100% only the topic was planned. Not the words or discussion.
@@japanesefromzero Well done utilizing AI
人間が人間を人工知能に置き換えるのは悲しいですが、予想されることです。かつて機械が製造工程の仕事や会計係を取って代わってように、それが起こっています。人間は、自分たちをより便利で、技術的に優れた存在に置き換えざるを得ないものなんです。

Thank you George Sensei! I enjoy the shorter video format. It is good that you are pointing out AI's mistake because as a beginner I wasn't able to.
I LOVE this! Please make more! I can understand enough to follow now, thank you so much!
I like the youtuber and TV examples you included. This is still a little advanced for me but I'll 頑張る
10 years ago I would never have thought that I would be sitting here watching a video like this.
10 years ago I never thought I could have a capable AI co-host that is 100% unscripted. In the next episode she actually made me blush!
Extremely impressive! She engages with you in a very natural way. I liked that Ai was able to tell you the name of the Japanese TV show you were thinking of that started with あっぱれ. And the ありえない "pink rainbow" she came up with was an inspired example!
Super cool!!! Well done. Keep 'em coming! ❤

This is so cool and helpful!! Please make more of these types of videos.
Errrr.... I didnt understand much 😢 but I can see/hear the benefits. Good to see you hit the limit 🤭

@@japanesefromzero unless you keep hitting your limit though 🤭
Not a problem. We can figure it out and learn so much more. What are dictionaries and translation apps for, right. 大丈夫です。
less than 10-minute video is spot on
Absolutely Loved this!!!
ジョージ先生、これまでで最高の動画ですね。
I can’t skip a JFZ video now, but this is actually very useful information
Thanks to the JP subs, I was able to follow it quite well. Thank you.
Amazing, I understood a lot of japanese words in this video.

1:00 isn't that the women that accidently said "it's gonna be f-ing cold" on the live broadcast?
please more george and keiko show...
Georgeさんの新しい動画はものすごいだよ。ありえない! 👋
Hi @geruto17760. You cand use だ with adjectives. So you can't say ものすごいだよ. It seems wrong. You should say just ものすごい or ものすごいよ. Thank you.
You would think that this kind of video goes viral in no time, wouldn't you.
I’m not click-baiting it enough. I have a good title for the next one.
Very cool. You would be one of the first to do something like this
「あっぱれ」はハリー・ポッターに出てくる魔法の呪文みたいです。
I love learning japanese talking to AI is the next level 🧐

That's like saying a calculator is impressive... which it is, don't get me wrong.
AI-chan is far more than a fancy calculator.
thats just so cool
amazing
Where can we access this AI, Jouji-san. I really want to practice my Japanese and she does sound quite natural
How do we get to use this AI? This would be amazing for speaking practice
I've just been learning Japanese, I guess I'm not alone here. We need eng subtitles kudasai😅😅😅
I’ll make a version with subtitles.

Amazing viedeo! Crazy what AI can do! 🤩
