Noah and I hit the yard sales again this weekend. It was an interesting day with one of the sellers wanting me off her property because I was filming! Come along with us and see what ended up in the car on this shop with me adventure!

We know you wont show faces in your video, but they do not because they do not know you Danni. As a victim of stalking, I most absolutely would freak out if I saw someone coming up to my sale with a camera. Please respect that. PS I am a big fan of your channel :)

That's understandable but you should know that Danni is being harassed and stalked every day thats why she doesn't show where she is because of these few stalkers. So it goes both ways. When Danni said to her that She doesn't show faces, if she still didn't want it filmed there is a nice way of telling someone that they would not like it on camera, and there is the Karen way she did. Danni is totally understandable so I don't know why you would say something? Do you understand my view? I hope so. 🤔🤗

I hear you...I assumed (& you know what they say about assumers - they make an ass out of u & me! :) that Danni asked before entering each persons private property! Watching from NZ so different cultural ancestry. Also a big fan :)
She may have had some safety concerns from filming in her property. It's nice that you respected her wishes. Wish more folks would do that thank you
Yes you never know what people go through in life her life and her well being is more important.

How about it could be she fled a domestic violence situation… or is an undercover police officer … heck in the witness protection program… either way her property and her prerogative… just as it was theirs to leave… however I also would have assumed she was getting permission to video prior to taping… either way glad both of them were respectful about it…
TM- people may have different reasons for declining to be on film. Cps cases, custody, or legal issues. When we fostered my nephew's we were asked not to film them. There were a couple of years that we didn't take pics of any of our kids either
Some people don't like to be filmed for safety reasons so you should respect their privacy and not be offended by it.
Wasn't offended by her request just her attitude and rudeness with me!

Every one I know uses shoehorns! At my geriatric age I use a 3 foot long one so I don't have to bend as far!
Maybe because I'm in the north east and we tend to wear a fuller shoe in the winter? Noah is getting an education at the sales!

Yes, she absolutely had the right to not have her property, voice, anything filmed. Not everyone is cool with it, and although she may have lost sales to you, I understand her opinion.
I actually am fine with someone asking me not to film, I'm not fine with them being rude about it!
I agree. She probably didn't mean to sound rude. She sounded like she was frightened.. uneasy about it. Perhaps she was going through a divorce... Then be stuck having to split the profits. Just saying...

I still use a shoehorn and recently bought a very long handled shoehorn for my granddaughter who is disabled.

I've been doing this 4 decades. It used to only be books but now you have online, thankfully lol. Study, study, then study. 😅 It's the only way. I've told others to look through eBay, there might be a lot of a piece unsigned but that one seller knows who made it.

Oh my goodness, I love those moccasins. I hate wearing shoes. I used to buy moccasins and wear them as a young teenager in Southern California in the early 70s. They were very inexpensive. I could buy them with my babysitting money. I can no longer find the soft natural suede type, almost ankle high with fringed that I love so much. It was awesome how they'd mold to the shape of your foot. Once the sole area became a bit damp they'd harden somewhat and offer protection against stones etc.. I miss being able to buy them so much that I've considered learning to make them myself. They were absolutely my favorite shoes ever. I think I used to buy them for under $5, amazingly inexpensive. I think at that time you could but white Keds knockoffs for $2.99 and floral and plain strappy cloth low wedge sandals we called granny sandals were $3.99. I also remember the flat beautifully tooled leather sandals from India being very inexpensive. I loved being a teenager during the 70s, still my favorite decade for clothing and accessories.

You didnt feel welcome because she wouldnt let you film.... 10 years ago there would have been no camera / youtube issue... I dont think she lost out, i think you did. Lots of other stuff to film out there, but gold may have been laying in her carport. She was not rude. I just dont get it.

Not sure if anyone already answered on the turkey carving set. But the third piece in question I believe is a serving piece not just for the meat but often if the bird was garnished with veggies and or potatoes and such that would help serve and transfer them with the fork and not roll away or using the knife while serving. Very fancy, old school dining etiquette styled tools. Very cool find and beautiful too. If there's more to it or I'm off let me know. I believe that's the use for it.

I know you think its wrong for people to prefer you didn't film but she may have a very good reason for being afraid. Possibly domestic violence or other reason so its not unreasonable for someone to ask not to film.

You can't get upset because the Homeowner does not allow you to film on her property. Just respect her wishes and move on.
I wasn't upset at the request it was the attitude! Even her friend was telling her she was being unreasonable in how she talked to me.

First of all, I SOO sympathize with Noah and the allergies. I used to be absolutely miserable until I got Rhinocort. It was like a miracle drug for me. Now they also have a generic and both are over the counter. Yay! Those were decent yard sales although you didn't get anything big. Saw some things I would have gotten. Lol You really got lucky with that boy of yours!! 😊
What size is that cool shirt Noah is wearing? Do you ask them before filming? That might help for those few that are uncomfortable when someone just walks up filming.

At the yardsale with the rolls royce picture, I saw TONS of things I thought were beautiful for GREAT prices! Of course, you have more things to consider than just the visual and price aspect because you're considering your business, but that was a really nice garage sale!!
