Awesome video. I just came back from Williamsburg va. I rode 5 trails. None were downhill but anyways. I tried my first gap jump. Nothing major. About knee high and probably about 3 feet to the landing. I cased the shit out of it. The guy that I didn’t even know was there was laughing his ass off. The only damage was my sanity. I think that I might need to try drops but not the one there. It was over 6’ foot to the landing and was about a 40 degree downward slope after.
If their chainring biffed, they were probably braking to emergency stop and slid. Wood isn't great for braking, especially when it's covered with leaves.
Slick editing man, the multiple camera angles and the way you edit your vids really differentiate your videos from others.....your mtb skills aint that bad either...
looks like you are ready for the hammer drop 🤔 the one you did at bentonville has a much hardler landing than the hammer, it is super smooth and once you do you, you will want to keep doing it. After the first drop you will wonder why it took you so long to do it!
One thing is... After you complete a new feature you should do it as many times as you can. The more times you do it the better. I am talking like 10 or even 20 times on the same feature.
