In Canada it's highly dependent on type and experience (as someone mentioned). I would assume 50-60k is either an LPN or little/no experience RN. For LPNs (licensed practical nurse, only 2 years education) that's about right. For RNs (registered nurse, 4 years education) they start fresh at about 40k per year and can make upto 100k+ with experience. For specialties or NPs (nurse practitioners, 6/7 years education) they can easily make 100k+.

@Y G I mean it honestly is. Same set of skills ideally whether you are in emergency or general. Difference being we need to know the anatomy, procedures, and drug contraindications of multiple species instead of one and we can't really specialize as easily as a nurse. A nurse spends a LOT more time with the patients, works a lot physically harder cleaning patients, helping move them, etc, makes a LOT less, but also spends a lot less time in school, although nurses can get a doctorate in nursing as well, but still makes a good deal less than a doctor even though the number of years of education is approximately the same. A doctor relies on nurses to teach the patients about their medical issues, and report any changes in the patient's condition. Doctors order tests, consults, diagnose the patients, and write prescriptions. Some do surgeries.

This salary depends on what kind of doctor you become. Is your field Radiology, Proctology, General Practitioner, and etc. The more rare the field of study, the more money you'll get. It also depends if you have your own private practice, if you work at a private hospital or a government hospital.
I've never understood this. When I had Covid and was in the ICU I was surrounded by amazing nurses who saved my life and brought me back from the brink of death. I saw my doctor maybe 3 times in the two weeks I was there. How come the nurses do all the work but the doctors get all the pay it makes no sense at all and it needs to change. Nurses Saved my life the doctors did just ordered stuff.
I think it is the fact of knowing in critical situations, when to order certain things and when things go wrong what to do. Don't get me wrong, a nurse is great at what they do and it is hard work but the doctor has likely had 8+ more years of training which comes along with that much more debt and hard work to get there. Also travel nursing. They can make 100k/yr easy depending on the needs and willingness. A travel nurse on my floor was just across the state border so he worked the weekdays at my hospital and weekend program at his home hospital. Genius.

I think it is the fact of knowing in critical situations, when to order certain things and when things go wrong what to do. My sister made 120k her first year as nurse she got a job for plastic surgeon in nyc and was get a percentage of the surgerys she performed.
90k+ is easy in the northeast and the west. You’re only making half that as a nurse if you live in Florida or bumfuck nowhere in the Midwest/south
@@everydayedgar5782 you’re forgetting your cost of living are double and your taxes 20% higher lol 65k goes farther in Florida than 250k in say New York
@@BobbyHiII that's why i live in pa and work in nyc live like a fucking king the only part that sucks is commute but its worth doubing your sallary for example nyc union A plumber gets $73 a hr in pa a plumber makes about $25-35
Damn that investment must be fire because his year 5 is more than all 4 of her years combined
I’m glad they both found someone who’s whole personality is their bank account so cute
Tell me you’re poor without telling me
Money is important up to certain levels. Financial freedom really can set you up for the ability to focus on things that matter
The bf is so whipped, zero respect for himself.
Sadly a shameful image for my profession, he seems to enjoy being a dancing monkey for this lady who has his income above his dignity.
Goodness, take a joke 🤦🏻♀️😎
I thought the same thing Chinese personality is their pay check and occupation it's actually pathetic regardless of what they earn. No wonder the CCP rule will an iron fist they literally have no independent thought.
In what UNIVERSE is a nurse paid this much???
California.
Philadelphia
San francisco.. what province are you?
The universe of California/NYC.
I can't believe it took me going to the comment section to figure it out💀
Me who still don't figured it out
@@danatyoseph1210 Nurse will retire because she will marry the doctor who is the (investment) now makes 500k hahaha.
He he same 😂
bro it took me 6 months to figure out
When I was 9 I wanted to be a nurse now I still do never giving up!!!!
Bro Walks in with his chest open: yo you done yet
after watching I think I want to be a nurse (save time) and get married to a doctor. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Need to be pretty enough to climb the doctor's wife social status
@@sallylemon5835 lmao this plus coming from that social class as well
good luck..
me in the 2 years after grad: compulsory military training
that doctor with 500.000$ salary better be reviving the dead
I’m an ER nurse (RN and BSBA) and barely make $50K a year. I don’t know if a single nurse that makes anywhere close to $90K unless they are in upper level management.
yes but where are you? I am in Oregon and nearly every nurse here is making above 70k. ADN+
Cali nurses make 150k a year.. San Francisco nurses easily make 200k a year
Imagine being successful in life
Can't relate
Only got yourself to blame for that one 😂
And then it’s me. A doctor in Greece. 2 days in a row with no sleep and no respect at all.
Brother! Don't stress man, being a doctor and saving lives is admired and respected by millions of people around the globe! Even if they're not in your immediate vicinity; you have my love and respect!!!!
Was a nurse for decades in 2 different states. They don’t always make that much!!! I took an extreme pay cut going from LA to Seattle. It was terrible working as a nurse in the Seattle area. Not only did my pay drop but benefits took a deep dive as well.
very empowering to all the women out there
"just get yourself a rich man lmao"
Yup that’s what I got from this
She grinded for 5 years and made more than him. Now he makes enough to support them both happily. She paid her dues 😮💨
I've never met a non-travel nurse who made that much lol
I’m an rn and Nashville she either cappin or lives in a big city with high cost of living but she made nursing look cool so I won’t complain
@@devonhyung2073 I believe she lives in California, where nurses generally make more. But the cost of living is also a lot higher in California so $90-110k a year isn't all that much there.
Rn Minnesota 80-140k. Bet.
Singapore $50k-$60k annually and the cost of living here is super high. Damn, I should move to California!
I work in community and take on a mix of agency nursing shifts. I make well over 110k a year (also I have been working as an RN for only 2 years, so definitely not a senior nurse). So nurses do make alot aside from travel nurses. Just depends on how you set your schedule and who you work for!
Meanwhile I’m getting charged five thousand for a twisted ankle.
where do you think their salary come from?
Nurses is the heart ❤ of hospitals, nurses duties is very tough and hard,,, and they are anything can do it for patients recovery, if patient recovered and go to home the nurses very happy to see that patient surviva and go to home its merrical for it
