I like effects in here simple and effective. This reminds me of superman 4 quest of peace where lex communicates with him on a frequency only he can hear. He calls it lex frequency. Like dogs can hear high pitch whistle sounds so can superman.
You're not the only one to find it idiotic. It was basically used as a visual cue to the audience that he was using x-ray vision. It's stupid, I know, but that's what the directors and actors do before adding in the special effects during post-production. Makes you wonder why some people never realized he was Superman when he almost always lowers his specs for x-ray vision in a very obvious manner. Only very far-sighted and near-sighted people slightly do that when they need to really get a good look at an object near to them - and they usually remove their specs when doing so, so it makes no sense for Clark to do it like that otherwise because the average joe with specs will rarely raise/lower them. I'm near-sighted, so am blind as a bat if I ever try to see over my glasses unless the thing I'm trying to look at is nearly kissing my face.
According to the lore, his parents got him lead glass glasses, so that he could train his visual powers to be conscious, and not automatic. This goes back to the comics, but I believe at some point L and C mentions it.
Grayson North time it takes for the bomb to engage and explode would be a nano second after Superman had already begun to move. Perhaps enough time in Superman speed, to send the explosion into the air. Like the tiniest of time between flipping the switch and the light going out in a room.
I absolutely love her dress in this scene. So classy yet so stylish.
Terri Hatcher was such a babe in the 90's
The bomber going right upto them to ask if they are enjoying the party, balls on that guy xD
In other words, this looks like a job for, *The Flash!*
@UncleMikeNJ See what you did there
Loooool.
*The perfect team!*
When Clark said “Uh-Oh!” that was when he knew he was in trouble
That's one gutsy Lois!

Haha did you notice the legs under the table at 00:50 ?!
MMordax Nice detail!🖒
@@danielhausser8038 Totally forgot about that, was distracted by the bomb
😆😆
It was so perfect, I laughed hard first time I watched
So cute and adorable together 😍
As fast as you can? Superman is certainly much faster than this trigger.
aah yes, the good old beer bombs
Lol Bruce Campbell @1:20
No clue why I'm recommended this video but yes I had to rewatch one more time because I couldn't believe it was him at first. Great cameo.
@@HeroC14 Him and his father, played by Peter Boyle, were reoccurring characters. They were the bosses of the Intergang Crime Syndicate
I remember Batman doing something similar once in a comic :) lol.
HATCHER was so hott she became a Bond girl.
I don't understand why its not getting through to you. It doesn't matter if he moves as fast as lightning. he moves a millimeter-the bomb explodes.
God bless the women of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Who were attractive and had skills. Not some girl who became famous for her “other skills”
How the hell do these guys use a frequency only Superman can hear, how do they know it works?
1:22 was Bruce Campbell a guest in this episode?
0:50 As much as I drool over Teri, I'd like to know who the sexy lady wearing the stockings is.
You know he doesn’t need to lower his glasses to scan. It’s so weird

Its possible that clark's, x ray vision-- might shatter his 👓 glasses.

Dude High Radiation will heat up his glasses and shatter them so it is completely reasonable.
well he dont want to take a chance cause there are others around...
The bomb is connected to Clark's movements only so if he even moves the tiniest bit the bomb will explode.

Where the hell is the rest of the video?
Lol. Yeh no shit.
Bruce Campbell lol
hey ate you going to upload season 4
Teri hatcher was so hot
I bet lex luther thought of this
First, Teri Hatcher's is absolutely stunning in that dress, although I would ditch the gloves and let her incredibly feminine hands show.
