Captain america isn't adept with his shield he is a master with it easily calculting the trajectory of it so he can catch it again. The only problem I can see with him throwing is shield is how it would work on DeathStrokes's suit :D
Captain America smarter than Deathstroke? Wow. That's actually a huge shock to me. I mean I know Steve's a smart man and a very gifted military strategist/tactician and all, but I always felt like Slade was the smarter and more cunning of the two. He even looks more cunning too. This amazes me.
I always did think that 90/10% thing could be interpreted as having mental efficiency 9 times greater than the average human. The question is how does that compare to a human who has the peak potential of a human being because they don't seem to go by the same metrics.
Lets not forget that Captain America is also a soldier in that a shield isn't his only weapon, he'll use whatever is necessary. He's just so good with his shield that he has perfected it into a fighting style of his own creation. That's what bothered me about the battle between Batman and Captain America, because at the end of the day Batman is just a vigilante where as Captain America is a soldier - vastly different philosophies. Cap's perspective was captured perfectly in Winter Soldier, "Yeah, we compromised. Some of us lost sleep over what we did but we did it so others could be free."
It really came down to Deathstroke's healing ability that made him the winner, although I think cap came in really close that made him him a worthy opponent.

This is the first time I disagree with your opinion, but I respect it very much. Captain America has feats that very well put him at 1800-2000 lbs. His speed, agility, fighting skills, and incomparable tactical mind would give him the win in my book. But that's just my opinion and great video as always.
Eh. I do agree with you on the outcome but there are things you messed up on about cap. Captain America does have a healing factor. Probably not to the degree of Deathstroke but he has healed from a completely broken leg (i think it was his femur) in thirty minutes and has been shot in the head three times, been declared dead on the table and came back alive the next day. And let's not forget his famous "assassination" we know the bullet was a power dampener to suppress his healing factor. Wolverine says that a normal bullet couldn't have killed him like that. Another thing is caps strength. Cap has been shown with enhanced physicals and not just peak. "peak of human *potential*" or "peak of human *evolution*" as he is often referred to which is sort of misleading. This means he had achieved the absolute peak of what a human being could ever possibly achieve through out it's history. In short he is more of the next stage in human evolution. Reaching a level beyond anything we could achieve today. Anyways, his feats put him far above 1200. Kinda part way between peak and super. Enhanced I guess I should say. And captain america does bring more than just his shield but he's hardly ever seen using anything but his shield so I'll let that slide lol😉. Anyways, just a few things that kinda bugged me. This would actually be a good match. I believe the fight could go either way. I'm however going with cap on this. Actually Deathstroke may be slightly stronger and faster than Cap. However Deathstroke has a handicap that Captain America can easily exploit. Deathstroke has a blindside. This will be a tough fight for cap but I seem him coming out the winner at the end although just barely...
While I don't agree about the strength & speed aspect (Cap's feats say otherwise & prove he is, at the very least, Slade's equal in those areas) I do agree it would be a close fight. Just wanted to say, nice observation about the blindside. I hadn't thought about that before & if anyone would capitalize on that ... it's a tactician like Steve. On a side note, I'd give T'Challa the edge vs Deathstroke as well.

It wasn't my intention to derail the thread though, so maybe we'll keep it somewhat brief. I'll give my perspective on it & feel free to give yours if you like ... & we'll leave it at that. I give the edge to T'Challa because he also physically matches Slade in every aspect. Through the heart shaped herb & his connection to the Panther God, T'Challa is both spirit & flesh. He's been referred to as a Wakandan super-soldier. Enhanced physical stats, as well as heightened senses that allow him to assess an opponents weak points both internally & externally ... (such as a blind side for example). He is a master of all forms of combat, as well as Wakandan disciplines unknown to the rest of the world. It's not out of the question for him to dabble in shamanistic Wakandan mysticism as well. Not only does he have genius level intellect but, as King of the Dead, he also has the spiritual knowledge of every Panther King before him. Through his minds eye he has watched Empires rise & fall. This grants him wisdom that Slade cannot match. He has dominion over an entire nation, with a vast army that can rival Atlantis or Doom in Latveria. His wealth & power exceeds anything Wayne Enterprises has at its disposal. Not to mention superior Vibranium tech. His armor should dampen any ballistics & rob them of momentum, while his claws are made of (anti-metal) Antarctic Vibranium. They can melt through true Adamantium like butter & Slade's protection would be no different. His energy projection allows attacks from range as well as close quarters & his speed combined with stealth cloaking technology will allow him to close that gap if necessary.

Cap has had many many years of fighting around the world against superpowered foes and training with the best fighters of the Marvel Universe. Cap is considered in the top tier of Marvel Martial Fighters, and if Deathstroke is a great combat strategist, Cap is the best possible because if his 10% efficiency bonus over Deathstroke (90% to 100%). Secondly, Cap usually carries equipment for the mission at hand, meaning he's constantly changing his personal arsenal. Saying he only has his shield is wrong since he also always has a side arm plus some primary weapon (usually a basic assault rifle) and many many more years of active combat against super powered foes. The added strength factor of Deathstroke is virtually voided because Cap is faster and smarter and more skilled Martially. The same reasons Cap beats Batman also apply here allowing him to beat Deathstroke as well. I'm not saying because Cap can beat Batsy, and Batsy can beat Deathstroke, that Cap automatically beats Deathstroke. However, Cap beats Batman because he's faster, arguably smarter, and more skilled Martially. The same can be applied here between Cap and Deathstroke. What about their skills with firearms in general? I'd put these two on near equal footing as marksmen, maybe with a slight edge to Cap since his two eyes give him better depth perception. Cap is an expert against enemies with weapons (as shown by his engagements against Winter Soldier, one of the best marksmen of the entire Marvel universe), so saying that cap is likely to be shot by Deathstroke to be seems odd and wrong. Cap has reflexes that are fast enough to allow him to contend with the likes of Thor and on occasion the Hulk. Now he doesn't usually beat them, but he nearly always escapes due to his ability to dodge and evade. I'm incredibly doubtful hat Deathstroke has enough speed to match either Thor or the Hulk for even a few seconds. Anywho, this is just my opinions of this matter, and I feel Cap was unjustly judged poorly here, and that these factors change the outcome of this battle.

his shield is a vibranium, adamantium shield not steel. That's a big mistake his shield can stop any weapons that Slade can through at him. But, in the end Slade's healing factor saved him. Cap's put down the Hulk with pressure points, and has went toe to toe with Thor, so we've seen him fight against ones with far more superhuman strength than Slade. So to say that Slade's strength is the reason why he won I don't think can be true. I think that Slade won because of his healing factor, that's all. But, if he did win, Cap lost by a very small margin, maybe 5%.
Yes because Deathstroke actually kills people and is a mercenary so he could end it for good. All cap has is a shield, plus Deathstroke was a Marine, Cap was in the Army. The Marine Corps' combat and fighting skills are far superior to that of the Army's.
Captain America lived through war he fought at war he learned every possible fighting style and plus caps shield can withstand a hit from the hulk and a hit from Thor's hammer which makes deathstroke look like a joke to them and cap beated both Thor and the hulk (deathstroke can't for a fact)

Completely agree, I mean this is the guy that effortlessly kicked open reinforced steel doors and was able to challenge freaking Lobo in a fist fight. Deathstroke can move faster than the speed of sound, being able to fight as fast as he could think when he first entered the scene, which for him should be at least 2250 miles per hour(nine times as fast as the speed of thought, which maxes out at 250 miles per hour), almost mach three, and that's without his Nth metal suit. And that's from a while ago. With his suit he should be even faster now, and has a brain that works even faster than the Flash's(as stated by Green Arrow), and to put that into perspective, the world can seem to be standing still for the Flash when he concentrates because of how quickly his brain can perceive the events around him. I know I'm combining Deathstroke's, but I do the same with Cap and pretty much every other character I use, and either way, either one of these Deathstroke's should be enough to beat Cap easily. Deathstroke has better equipment, is smarter, has a vastly more powerful brain, is much stronger, and is even faster than Captain America.

Cap actually has survived a bullet to the head. Twice. In Captain America and the Falcon issue 13-14he gets shot in the head but later survived. And he didn't die in CW. It was revealed that he was shot by a "time traveling" bullet that kept his body in stasis while also sending his mind through time. So yes, he can survive a bullet to the head

Actually, I didn't do a lick of research for this match. I figured 30 years of reading Cap and Deathstroke comics would suffice. And I don't mind at all that you think Cap would win. All of these matches are designed to be very close, or else I wouldn't do them. So an argument can always be made for the other person to win. I believe my reasoning is sound, though.

That's actually a really good question. I have an answer in my head, but I can't word it so it makes sense... Ah, wait a minute. Vibranium can still have force exerted on it, when people say that vibranium "Absorbs" energy, they aren't saying that it literally takes energy around it and sucks it in. They're saying that energy doesn't transfer through it. to use an example, you can throw or punch a vibranium object and it will move, because it can only absorb force equal to its weight on its own, but you prop that object up against a wall, and hit the vibranium with something that would break the wall on it's own, the wall will still be standing because the energy from the impact was not transferred through the vibranium to the wall, thus the Vibranuim "Absorbed" that energy.

Raximus3000 I think you're looking for the word "Perpendicular", but what you've failed to realize is that the action you've just described (hitting the shield dead center at a right angle to the vertex's tangent) would impart the MOST possible force into the shield, and thus under normal circumstances, the wall, making anything else a weaker blow where some of the energy that wasn't directed at the shield would be deflected and go harmlessly to the side.

It's a little difficult to go hand to hand with someone who is more or less equal in every respect to you, except that they are around 800 pounds stronger than you. Not to mention Deathstroke's armor is far better than Cap's.
Tracker947 DS' armour might be better, but Cap is actually stronger than DS; he can bench 2400 lbs (1088 kg). DS can bench a ton. So it's slight, not enough to give Cap the win, but it's there. I think the win loss ratio here would be: DS 51%, Cap 49%. It's that close.

Taskmaster made it into print first and shares a costume style thanks to Perez. In any contest, except maybe mimicry, Deathstroke has the advantage. Taskmaster is a copycat, even though pulled from the womb first. It's what he does.

Sweet video, I actually learned a little about deathstroke's armour and he's stronger than I thought. Not sure Promethium is quite on the same level as Cap's Shield but its close enough. Cap usually wins because he can out-fight, out-think, and outmaneuver his opponents. And if an enemy can match him in those areas, his enhanced physical and mental faculties usually provide him with the win. But Deathstroke is one of the few foes that not only matches him in just about every way, but has more and greater advantages over Captain America then vice versa. Cap's shield, movement speed advantage and slightly better tactical mind aren't enough to compensate for Deathstroke's strength advantage, more weapons, better armour, willingness to kill and of course healing factor.

Great video....but I think you're forgetting that deathstroke being stronger means nothing....he'd still lose....90% of the villains that Captain America fought were FAR stronger than him and he still defeated them even though they could lift 50 or more tons. He's destroyed thousands of opponents who had more armor and weaponry , lasers whatever. Lastly, deaths trike really wouldn't be able to hit Cap, he's reflexes are just too fast and his sheild is too strong not only as a defensive weapon but offensive...he can move this sheild as fast as he can move, and he's knocked out super human beings that are FAR more powerful than deathstroke.
Deathstroke is pretty much a combination of Captain America, Punisher, and Batman altogether with awesome regenerating armor thrown in. He's basically the ultimate fighter/assassin in comic history. I honestly don't think any marvel fighters/assassins could stand against him. Maybe Blade or Ironfist but even then I think Deathstroke would most likely take the win.

I'm noticing a lot of post on this page saying that Batman beat and can beat Deathstroke in a fight. I once owned a comic where Deathstroke beat Batman to a bloody mess. Let's get this straight people. If we do our research and take all we know and read about Batman and Deathstroke and put all bias aside and drop the whole Batman can beat so and so because he's the batman crap and for goodness sake drop the arguement that Batman can beat anybody with prep time (okay that might be somewhat true) stuff. If we honestly take what we know about both opponents as we compare the two and remember that we are talking about a straight fight between just the two of them, no sidekicks. You will come to the same conclusion I did. Deathstroke wins.
Deathstroke is essentially a super-powered Frank Castle. Actually, had both gone through the same experimentation I'd say Frank would be superior. Anyway.... Deathstroke is now The Batman's main villain in the upcoming movie which is fucking amazing. We get to see what would happen when the Apex Predator-Human trope (Jason Bourne, Batman, Sherlock Holmes, Hannibal Lector, Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Frank Castle, etc.) meets the Super-Soldier Trope. A man that isn't quite Spider-Man level (though Luke Cage and Jessica Jones would be exceptions to this in the mainstream, The Midnighter is probably the most deadly out of all of 'em) it goes like this for DCU/MU Deathstroke-As strong or stronger than Captain America, faster, higher brain function than any human, challenging the likes of Batman, Lex Luthor and other greats. If he wanted to he could be a Tony Stark-level inventor, his attitude and his need to seek challenge is what holds him back in that respect. I may be biased as an eyepatch wearing badass like Slade ( :P ), but he's a personal favorite. A morally complicated anti-hero/anti-villain mix, depending on the incarnation, sometimes an outright villain. At any rate he has approx 25-35% of Deadpool and Wolverine's healing factor. People need to realize how much of a boost that is. Yes he can lose an eye and perhaps other limbs (though "simple" limbs such as an ear or even fingers might be replaced or at least easily-attatched, even just held together without stitches) The one major advantage Deathstroke has is he can DIE and come back, although in a beserker-state. The man has had literally part of his head missing and has come back, he's been shot in the heart or been killed through torture and come back, etc. Note: He's defeated Batman in the majority of their encounters. Batman has taken on quite a few Captain America/Deadpool-level super-soldiers in his day and his comicbook armor currently enhances his abilities slightly and provides him a (temporary) shield against Superman-level strikes. Strength: Approx 7-10 ton range (strong as at least 30 men, in the Arrow series he was even stronger and his healing-factor was amped up slightly Damage soak: He can fight with multiple swords and gun-shot wounds as if he hasn't been affected at all. His head and heart are his weakest spots (and spine) Speed: Along with his mind which is enhanced by a factor of 9 (earlier it was 90% of his brain and generally that's what people say but humans don't use 10% of their brain, we use all of it, and we don't know enough to say that, so it's easier to say he thinks 9x faster, give or take). Eitehr way his intelligence is GREATLY enhanced, he's a bullet-timer, enough to tag the flash by using some predictive-thinking Tactics and strategy: the guy who out-Batmans the Batman. 'Nuff said. Fighting ability: He has stalemated David Cain in combat, a man who was Lady Shiva's lover. He has defeated Batman (though Batman and David Cain are about equal, Batman, I believe, defeated DAvid Cain after he framed Bruce Wayne for murder in the "Bruce Wayne: Fugitive" storyline in '03-ish). He has defeated guys like Ras Al ghul and many of the teen titans and has even fought and defeated members of the JLA. He has held his ground agqainst Wonder Woman herself, who is THE FIGHTER of the DCU (While guys like Richard Dragon, Lady Shiva and Bruce wayne might be superior h2h fighters, Wonder Woman's so close she's a hair away if not an equal, and she has superman-level strength!) Yet Deathstroke has held his own against her. That says something. Speed: He can fight Wonder Woman and tag the Flash, his brain works so fast, that mixed with his reflexes....well, Batman is a bullet-timer and for a human that is impressive, but can he dodge a man who's strong enough to not even feel the recoil of a gun, as well as target and fire at speeds faster than the human eye can see? Intelligence: Equal to Batman's AT LEAST. Tactics and Strategy: Greater than Batman's. Achilles heal: the need for a challenge means he might give Batman openings he will regret. Deadpool-Created by the same man, Rob Liefield (I think...), he heals much quicker than Deathstroke and like Deathstroke he can die and come back...or more correctly he can't really die. Captain America- The epitome of human evolution and arguably the first transhuman in comicdom and the first pop-culture transhuman. He is strong enough to hold a helicopter from falling with one-arm as seen in the Civil War. He can go toe-to-toe with Bucky who is equally-strong but with a (far) stronger bionic arm. Black Panther is just as strong as well and as good a fighter, and in terms of attributes he's really close to MU's Batman Strength: Not as high as Deathstroke's but enough to give him or Spider-Man (who is 30-50 ton range) a fight if not outright beat them. He, more than anyone here has the greatest chance against Deathstroke. he is a master-tactician who is nearly equal to Black Panther and that guy is nearly equal to Batman himself. Speed/Defense: Deathstroke and he are as close to evenly matched as one can get. Cap's shield and armor give him an edge as long as Slade isn't wearing Nth metal armor, if he is...then all cap is the shield to match it. Tactics/Strategy: Cap has shown he's a Batman-level tactician again-and-again. He doesn't have as many gadgets and maybe that'd be his downfall against Slade. He would NEED that. Slade is faster, smarter, stronger, and equally experienced. Both are war veterans but Slade WILL shoot first and come in hard. He will come in with swords and guns, Cap's shield and reflexes won't be enough. He will have to retreat and plan for Slade, meanwhile Slade willl be working to be steps-ahead of him That said....Cap defeated Iron Man in the Civil War (yes, he surrendered in the comics, and he won in the movies, and in both cases it was against massive odds) If anybody can defeat Deathstroke in a random-encounter, or with Deathstroke having hunted him....It's Cap, just like Batman both of them get the "any given sunday" exception. Black Panther- Like Bucky and Cap he's around the 2-4 ton level. Maybe more with his suit. Which makes him nigh-invulnerable. Rich, a top-tier scientist as intelligent as Stark, Banner, Dr. Strange, Prof. X , etc. I could go on but the point is Slade is at the TOP of the list. He is the guy that will take down the rest when he's at his best!

Deathstroke vs Captain America is a very underrated DC vs Marvel fight, and in this fight i gotta say Deathstroke Wins with moderate difficulty and here's why. In terms of Strength, Speed, Agility, Durability, and Fighting Skill they are very similar since they have held their own against Batman and are both enhanced Super Soldiers but in all those categories i'm gonna say Deathstroke by a slim margin when starting off with Strength Cap has been able to bench 1,100 pounds, hold an elevator with his shield, and pull down a mini helicopter but Slade has been able to defeat Hawkman, Draw blood from Lobo, cut off a plane wing, a rip a plane door with his bare hands, and crush someones head just by kicking them through a wall and with Speed and Agilty Cap has been claimed to run a mile an a minute, intercept bullets, move fast enough to block and missile, and leap fast enough before kids get shot and with Slade he's just casually leapd from a train car to another one, caugh an arrow, caught a superhuman trying to catch him from behind, blitzed a group of soldiers before they even got a shot off, blocked a bullet with his sword, and has caught a knife thrown behind him. So their very similar in Physicality but i'm gonna give the edge to Deathstroke because he has more feats, now when talking about Fighting Skill Cap has mastered Boxing, Judo, Defendu, Kickboxing, Jujutsu, and various other fighting disciplines while Slade on the other hand is a master of Boxing, Karate, Ninjutsu, Judo, Jujutsu, and has trained himself in the ways of Ninjas and has mastered other various assassination techniques. and finally when talking about Durability Cap has been thrown into a window by war machine, blasted by electricity, gotten shot in the leg, and was fine after being thrown into a car by a Cap robot and with Slade he's completely bullet proof, took hits from Bizarro, took a beating from Lobo, survived a massive explosion while weak, and has taken hits from Wonder Woman and just said "I can take whatever you dish out"(and Wonder Woman has held planets with those Hands) and that along with the Super Soldier serum means Slade can push himself longer than the normal human, and he's even a Healing Factor that has helped him survive from getting literally getting his Brain exploded. So in summary, this fight will be very long but in the end i think due to Deathstroke's Deadlier and wider Arsenal, and his healing factor i think that he'll beat Cap in a long drawn out fight. Also we have to take into account Deathstroke not being afraid to kill, Cap could kill you but Slade is going to kill you. The Winner is Deathstroke!

I unfortunately knew the winner even before I had the video opened. I could point out that Cap has been show adept at defeating people with a much higher strength level, and people who rely on ranged combat, but I'm not sure if that would make that much of a difference in (as the term is used) 'synergistic' concept. Truth is Cap's my #1, I find it very disheartening to see him lose so often and so soundly. Although in this case- I would argue that since Cap can Beat Batman, and Batman has beaten Slade, then Cap COULD beat Deathstroke, even if it was a small % of the time.

Let me just end this bias Deathstroke stuff. Personally speaking, Yes! Deathstroke is one bad ass son of a bitch. But, boasting about Deathstroke and downplaying The Living Legend (Captain America) does not give someone a victory. Now, we talk about healing factory. How the fuck is this fight won then? KO, Death?. I mean if you gotta wait half an hour for a man to heal then resume battle. That's bullshit. So let's throw that out the window. Speed and strength. Captain America has went head to head with Spider Man. And yes, Steve Rogers held his own. And In no way form or fashion is Deathstroke faster, stronger, quicker, or more reflexible than The Web Slinger. Let alone Hulk or Thor (In terms of strength). So kill that argument. Martial prowess. This will be the true essence of the battle. They are both Masters. Killer instinct advantage goes to Deathstroke. But that's only a will to win. Not a way. If Caps as is on the line, you think he's not gonna match the intensity level. Let's be real about this. Combat experience goes to cap. Due to age and fighting everyone in the world. He stood up to Thanos for crying out loud. So in better understanding. The Super Soldier has way more battle valor and fight experience in general and with opponents that can outclass him in terms of speed, strength, etc. feets. With that being said, stop kissing ass people and truly evaluate this battle on the true facts. And not the fact that Steve or Slade is your next door neighbor.
One other thing... deathstrokes weapons count for nothing.. he has fought dr doom who is a walking arsenal, iron man (i don't have to say anything about his weapons) winter soldiers who has more weapons than brain cells, the entire SHIELD core in the helicarrier, and so on and so on.. also deathstrokes strength would count for almost nothing... cap has fought THOR to a stand still and has also put down the hulk using pressure points. Heal factor... did we forget that due to captain america's metabolism and cell regeneration rate he was frozen in ice for 50 yrs and survived... where was that mentioned. All in all, i like your videos. I watch them a lot. I think maybe more research should be done and get exact numbers or maybe a rating system. by no means am I a fanboy, I love DC heroes/villains, just would like them to be more impartial. Slade being stronger shouldn't matter. Cap has beaten foes like Mr. Hyde and Rhino unconscious and they are 50 times stronger than him. Another aspect of Cap that wasn't taken into consideration is his indomitable will, the man just refuses to lose. Kurt Busiek once said that if Cap were a god, he'd be the God of Winning!
OK... Grant it that slade is super badass.... and has all those cool skills and attributes.. but i believe Cap was kinda downplayed. Yes his physical appearance is that of a human at max potential... his agility is that of an olympic athlete x10.... His strength is what was downplayed.. I have read comics where captain america flips up armored humvees weighing at least 2.5 tons over to use as a shield... I have seen him break metal weapons with his bare hands (ie. .50 caliber machine guns, shotguns, and other various metal weapons) He has smashed through brick walls one after another and another and so on... so I would guess slade isn't that strong. Also, captain america is adept in all forms of martial arts known to man. So his fighting skills far exceed that of any normal human and his reflexes are beyond that of a human. He can dodge bullets at point blank range. His mind and reflexes are SO fast that he can be fighting multiple foes.. lets say 20 for arguments sake.. while fighting tossing his shield without even looking, and calculating in his mind (without looking) where and how many bounces it will have before it lands back in his hands soon enough to block an incoming attack from other assailants.. He also has kind of a combat sense (kind of like spiderman, but not as potent) which he uses when fighting more than one person to predict movements, calculate strike points, and to find pressure points to incapacitate opponents... why weren't these facts put into this video? Just curious.

Lets not forget that Captain America is also a soldier in that a shield isn't his only weapon, he'll use whatever is necessary. He's just so good with his shield that he has perfected it into a fighting style of his own creation. That's what bothered me about the battle between Batman and Captain America, because at the end of the day Batman is just a vigilante where as Captain America is a soldier - vastly different philosophies. Cap's perspective was captured perfectly in Winter Soldier, "Yeah, we compromised. Some of us lost sleep over what we did but we did it so others could be free."

In Phisical Atributes Cap America is vastly Superior than Deathstroke.

This is the first time I disagree with your opinion, but I respect it very much. Captain America has feats that very well put him at 1800-2000 lbs. His speed, agility, fighting skills, and incomparable tactical mind would give him the win in my book. But that's just my opinion and great video as always.

Eh. I do agree with you on the outcome but there are things you messed up on about cap. Captain America does have a healing factor. Probably not to the degree of Deathstroke but he has healed from a completely broken leg (i think it was his femur) in thirty minutes and has been shot in the head three times, been declared dead on the table and came back alive the next day. And let's not forget his famous "assassination" we know the bullet was a power dampener to suppress his healing factor. Wolverine says that a normal bullet couldn't have killed him like that. Another thing is caps strength. Cap has been shown with enhanced physicals and not just peak. "peak of human *potential*" or "peak of human *evolution*" as he is often referred to which is sort of misleading. This means he had achieved the absolute peak of what a human being could ever possibly achieve through out it's history. In short he is more of the next stage in human evolution. Reaching a level beyond anything we could achieve today. Anyways, his feats put him far above 1200. Kinda part way between peak and super. Enhanced I guess I should say. And captain america does bring more than just his shield but he's hardly ever seen using anything but his shield so I'll let that slide lol😉. Anyways, just a few things that kinda bugged me. I still agree ds would when though

This would actually be a good match. I believe the fight could go either way. I'm however going with cap on this. Actually Deathstroke may be slightly stronger and faster than Cap. However Deathstroke has a handicap that Captain America can easily exploit. Deathstroke has a blindside. This will be a tough fight for cap but I seem him coming out the winner at the end although just barely...
While I don't agree about the strength & speed aspect (Cap's feats say otherwise & prove he is, at the very least, Slade's equal in those areas) I do agree it would be a close fight. Just wanted to say, nice observation about the blindside. I hadn't thought about that before & if anyone would capitalize on that ... it's a tactician like Steve. On a side note, I'd give T'Challa the edge vs Deathstroke as well.

It wasn't my intention to derail the thread though, so maybe we'll keep it somewhat brief. I'll give my perspective on it & feel free to give yours if you like ... & we'll leave it at that.
I give the edge to T'Challa because he also physically matches Slade in every aspect. Through the heart shaped herb & his connection to the Panther God, T'Challa is both spirit & flesh. He's been referred to as a Wakandan super-soldier. Enhanced physical stats, as well as heightened senses that allow him to assess an opponents weak points both internally & externally ... (such as a blind side for example). He is a master of all forms of combat, as well as Wakandan disciplines unknown to the rest of the world. It's not out of the question for him to dabble in shamanistic Wakandan mysticism as well. Not only does he have genius level intellect but, as King of the Dead, he also has the spiritual knowledge of every Panther King before him. Through his minds eye he has watched Empires rise & fall. This grants him wisdom that Slade cannot match.
He has dominion over an entire nation, with a vast army that can rival Atlantis or Doom in Latveria. His wealth & power exceeds anything Wayne Enterprises has at its disposal. Not to mention superior Vibranium tech. His armor should dampen any ballistics & rob them of momentum, while his claws are made of (anti-metal) Antarctic Vibranium. They can melt through true Adamantium like butter & Slade's protection would be no different. His energy projection allows attacks from range as well as close quarters & his speed combined with stealth cloaking technology will allow him to close that gap if necessary.

*****, Why did Martial Skills not play a part in your video? Cap has had many many years of fighting around the world against superpowered foes and training with the best fighters of the Marvel Universe. Cap is considered in the top tier of Marvel Martial Fighters, and if Deathstroke is a great combat strategist, Cap is the best possible because if his 10% efficiency bonus over Deathstroke (90% to 100%).
Secondly, Cap usually carries equipment for the mission at hand, meaning he's constantly changing his personal arsenal. Saying he only has his shield is wrong since he also always has a side arm plus some primary weapon (usually a basic assault rifle) and many many more years of active combat against super powered foes. The added strength factor of Deathstroke is virtually voided because Cap is faster and smarter and more skilled Martially. The same reasons Cap beats Batman also apply here allowing him to beat Deathstroke as well. I'm not saying because Cap can beat Batsy, and Batsy can beat Deathstroke, that Cap automatically beats Deathstroke. However, Cap beats Batman because he's faster, arguably smarter, and more skilled Martially. The same can be applied here between Cap and Deathstroke.
What about their skills with firearms in general? I'd put these two on near equal footing as marksmen, maybe with a slight edge to Cap since his two eyes give him better depth perception. Cap is an expert against enemies with weapons (as shown by his engagements against Winter Soldier, one of the best marksmen of the entire Marvel universe), so saying that cap is likely to be shot by Deathstroke to be seems odd and wrong. Cap has reflexes that are fast enough to allow him to contend with the likes of Thor and on occasion the Hulk. Now he doesn't usually beat them, but he nearly always escapes due to his ability to dodge and evade. I'm incredibly doubtful hat Deathstroke has enough speed to match either Thor or the Hulk for even a few seconds.
Anywho, this is just my opinions of this matter, and I feel Cap was unjustly judged poorly here, and that these factors change the outcome of this battle.

his shield is a vibranium, adamantium shield not steel. That's a big mistake his shield can stop any weapons that Slade can through at him. But, in the end Slade's healing factor saved him. Cap's put down the Hulk with pressure points, and has went toe to toe with Thor, so we've seen him fight against ones with far more superhuman strength than Slade. So to say that Slade's strength is the reason why he won I don't think can be true. I think that Slade won because of his healing factor, that's all. But, if he did win, Cap lost by a very small margin, maybe 5%.

Completely agree, I mean this is the guy that effortlessly kicked open reinforced steel doors and was able to challenge freaking Lobo in a fist fight.
Deathstroke can move faster than the speed of sound, being able to fight as fast as he could think when he first entered the scene, which for him should be at least 2250 miles per hour(nine times as fast as the speed of thought, which maxes out at 250 miles per hour), almost mach three, and that's without his Nth metal suit. And that's from a while ago. With his suit he should be even faster now, and has a brain that works even faster than the Flash's(as stated by Green Arrow), and to put that into perspective, the world can seem to be standing still for the Flash when he concentrates because of how quickly his brain can perceive the events around him. I know I'm combining Deathstroke's, but I do the same with Cap and pretty much every other character I use, and either way, either one of these Deathstroke's should be enough to beat Cap easily.
Deathstroke has better equipment, is smarter, has a vastly more powerful brain, is much stronger, and is even faster than Captain America.

Cap actually has survived a bullet to the head. Twice. In Captain America and the Falcon issue 13-14he gets shot in the head but later survived. And he didn't die in CW. It was revealed that he was shot by a "time traveling" bullet that kept his body in stasis while also sending his mind through time. So yes, he can survive a bullet to the head

Ah, wait a minute. Vibranium can still have force exerted on it, when people say that vibranium "Absorbs" energy, they aren't saying that it literally takes energy around it and sucks it in. They're saying that energy doesn't transfer through it. to use an example, you can throw or punch a vibranium object and it will move, because it can only absorb force equal to its weight on its own, but you prop that object up against a wall, and hit the vibranium with something that would break the wall on it's own, the wall will still be standing because the energy from the impact was not transferred through the vibranium to the wall, thus the Vibranuim "Absorbed" that energy.

Raximus3000 I think you're looking for the word "Perpendicular", but what you've failed to realize is that the action you've just described (hitting the shield dead center at a right angle to the vertex's tangent) would impart the MOST possible force into the shield, and thus under normal circumstances, the wall, making anything else a weaker blow where some of the energy that wasn't directed at the shield would be deflected and go harmlessly to the side.

It's a little difficult to go hand to hand with someone who is more or less equal in every respect to you, except that they are around 800 pounds stronger than you. Not to mention Deathstroke's armor is far better than Cap's.
Tracker947 DS' armour might be better, but Cap is actually stronger than DS; he can bench 2400 lbs (1088 kg). DS can bench a ton. So it's slight, not enough to give Cap the win, but it's there. I think the win loss ratio here would be: DS 51%, Cap 49%. It's that close.

Taskmaster is a copycat, even though pulled from the womb first. It's what he does.

Sweet video, I actually learned a little about deathstroke's armour and he's stronger than I thought. Not sure Promethium is quite on the same level as Cap's Shield but its close enough. Cap usually wins because he can out-fight, out-think, and outmaneuver his opponents. And if an enemy can match him in those areas, his enhanced physical and mental faculties usually provide him with the win. But Deathstroke is one of the few foes that not only matches him in just about every way, but has more and greater advantages over Captain America then vice versa. Cap's shield, movement speed advantage and slightly better tactical mind aren't enough to compensate for Deathstroke's strength advantage, more weapons, better armour, willingness to kill and of course healing factor.

Great video....but I think you're forgetting that deathstroke being stronger means nothing....he'd still lose....90% of the villains that Captain America fought were FAR stronger than him and he still defeated them even though they could lift 50 or more tons. He's destroyed thousands of opponents who had more armor and weaponry , lasers whatever. Lastly, deaths trike really wouldn't be able to hit Cap, he's reflexes are just too fast and his sheild is too strong not only as a defensive weapon but offensive...he can move this sheild as fast as he can move, and he's knocked out super human beings that are FAR more powerful than deathstroke.

Deathstroke is pretty much a combination of Captain America, Punisher, and Batman altogether with awesome regenerating armor thrown in. He's basically the ultimate fighter/assassin in comic history. I honestly don't think any marvel fighters/assassins could stand against him. Maybe Blade or Ironfist but even then I think Deathstroke would most likely take the win.

I'm noticing a lot of post on this page saying that Batman beat and can beat Deathstroke in a fight. I once owned a comic where Deathstroke beat Batman to a bloody mess. Let's get this straight people. If we do our research and take all we know and read about Batman and Deathstroke and put all bias aside and drop the whole Batman can beat so and so because he's the batman crap and for goodness sake drop the arguement that Batman can beat anybody with prep time (okay that might be somewhat true) stuff. If we honestly take what we know about both opponents as we compare the two and remember that we are talking about a straight fight between just the two of them, no sidekicks. You will come to the same conclusion I did. Deathstroke wins.
Deathstroke is essentially a super-powered Frank Castle. Actually, had both gone through the same experimentation I'd say Frank would be superior. Anyway....
Deathstroke is now The Batman's main villain in the upcoming movie which is fucking amazing. We get to see what would happen when the Apex Predator-Human trope (Jason Bourne, Batman, Sherlock Holmes, Hannibal Lector, Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Frank Castle, etc.) meets the Super-Soldier Trope. A man that isn't quite Spider-Man level (though Luke Cage and Jessica Jones would be exceptions to this in the mainstream, The Midnighter is probably the most deadly out of all of 'em) it goes like this for DCU/MU
Deathstroke-As strong or stronger than Captain America, faster, higher brain function than any human, challenging the likes of Batman, Lex Luthor and other greats. If he wanted to he could be a Tony Stark-level inventor, his attitude and his need to seek challenge is what holds him back in that respect. I may be biased as an eyepatch wearing badass like Slade ( :P ), but he's a personal favorite. A morally complicated anti-hero/anti-villain mix, depending on the incarnation, sometimes an outright villain.
At any rate he has approx 25-35% of Deadpool and Wolverine's healing factor. People need to realize how much of a boost that is. Yes he can lose an eye and perhaps other limbs (though "simple" limbs such as an ear or even fingers might be replaced or at least easily-attatched, even just held together without stitches)
The one major advantage Deathstroke has is he can DIE and come back, although in a beserker-state. The man has had literally part of his head missing and has come back, he's been shot in the heart or been killed through torture and come back, etc.
Note: He's defeated Batman in the majority of their encounters. Batman has taken on quite a few Captain America/Deadpool-level super-soldiers in his day and his comicbook armor currently enhances his abilities slightly and provides him a (temporary) shield against Superman-level strikes.
Strength: Approx 7-10 ton range (strong as at least 30 men, in the Arrow series he was even stronger and his healing-factor was amped up slightly
Damage soak: He can fight with multiple swords and gun-shot wounds as if he hasn't been affected at all. His head and heart are his weakest spots (and spine)
Speed: Along with his mind which is enhanced by a factor of 9 (earlier it was 90% of his brain and generally that's what people say but humans don't use 10% of their brain, we use all of it, and we don't know enough to say that, so it's easier to say he thinks 9x faster, give or take). Eitehr way his intelligence is GREATLY enhanced, he's a bullet-timer, enough to tag the flash by using some predictive-thinking
Tactics and strategy: the guy who out-Batmans the Batman. 'Nuff said.
Fighting ability: He has stalemated David Cain in combat, a man who was Lady Shiva's lover. He has defeated Batman (though Batman and David Cain are about equal, Batman, I believe, defeated DAvid Cain after he framed Bruce Wayne for murder in the "Bruce Wayne: Fugitive" storyline in '03-ish). He has defeated guys like Ras Al ghul and many of the teen titans and has even fought and defeated members of the JLA. He has held his ground agqainst Wonder Woman herself, who is THE FIGHTER of the DCU (While guys like Richard Dragon, Lady Shiva and Bruce wayne might be superior h2h fighters, Wonder Woman's so close she's a hair away if not an equal, and she has superman-level strength!)
Yet Deathstroke has held his own against her. That says something.
Speed: He can fight Wonder Woman and tag the Flash, his brain works so fast, that mixed with his reflexes....well, Batman is a bullet-timer and for a human that is impressive, but can he dodge a man who's strong enough to not even feel the recoil of a gun, as well as target and fire at speeds faster than the human eye can see?
Intelligence: Equal to Batman's AT LEAST.
Tactics and Strategy: Greater than Batman's.
Achilles heal: the need for a challenge means he might give Batman openings he will regret.
Deadpool-Created by the same man, Rob Liefield (I think...), he heals much quicker than Deathstroke and like Deathstroke he can die and come back...or more correctly he can't really die.
Captain America- The epitome of human evolution and arguably the first transhuman in comicdom and the first pop-culture transhuman. He is strong enough to hold a helicopter from falling with one-arm as seen in the Civil War. He can go toe-to-toe with Bucky who is equally-strong but with a (far) stronger bionic arm. Black Panther is just as strong as well and as good a fighter, and in terms of attributes he's really close to MU's Batman
Strength: Not as high as Deathstroke's but enough to give him or Spider-Man (who is 30-50 ton range) a fight if not outright beat them. He, more than anyone here has the greatest chance against Deathstroke. he is a master-tactician who is nearly equal to Black Panther and that guy is nearly equal to Batman himself.
Speed/Defense: Deathstroke and he are as close to evenly matched as one can get. Cap's shield and armor give him an edge as long as Slade isn't wearing Nth metal armor, if he is...then all cap is the shield to match it.
Tactics/Strategy: Cap has shown he's a Batman-level tactician again-and-again. He doesn't have as many gadgets and maybe that'd be his downfall against Slade. He would NEED that. Slade is faster, smarter, stronger, and equally experienced. Both are war veterans but Slade WILL shoot first and come in hard. He will come in with swords and guns, Cap's shield and reflexes won't be enough. He will have to retreat and plan for Slade, meanwhile Slade willl be working to be steps-ahead of him
That said....Cap defeated Iron Man in the Civil War (yes, he surrendered in the comics, and he won in the movies, and in both cases it was against massive odds)
If anybody can defeat Deathstroke in a random-encounter, or with Deathstroke having hunted him....It's Cap, just like Batman both of them get the "any given sunday" exception.
Black Panther- Like Bucky and Cap he's around the 2-4 ton level. Maybe more with his suit. Which makes him nigh-invulnerable. Rich, a top-tier scientist as intelligent as Stark, Banner, Dr. Strange, Prof. X , etc.
I could go on but the point is Slade is at the TOP of the list. He is the guy that will take down the rest when he's at his best!

Lastly, Black Panther vs Batman would be cool although I'm kind of tired of seeing Batman all the time. Black Panther has to be used against someone.
Deathstroke vs Captain America is a very underrated DC vs Marvel fight, and in this fight i gotta say Deathstroke Wins with moderate difficulty and here's why. In terms of Strength, Speed, Agility, Durability, and Fighting Skill they are very similar since they have held their own against Batman and are both enhanced Super Soldiers but in all those categories i'm gonna say Deathstroke by a slim margin when starting off with Strength Cap has been able to bench 1,100 pounds, hold an elevator with his shield, and pull down a mini helicopter but Slade has been able to defeat Hawkman, Draw blood from Lobo, cut off a plane wing, a rip a plane door with his bare hands, and crush someones head just by kicking them through a wall and with Speed and Agilty Cap has been claimed to run a mile an a minute, intercept bullets, move fast enough to block and missile, and leap fast enough before kids get shot and with Slade he's just casually leapd from a train car to another one, caugh an arrow, caught a superhuman trying to catch him from behind, blitzed a group of soldiers before they even got a shot off, blocked a bullet with his sword, and has caught a knife thrown behind him. So their very similar in Physicality but i'm gonna give the edge to Deathstroke because he has more feats, now when talking about Fighting Skill Cap has mastered Boxing, Judo, Defendu, Kickboxing, Jujutsu, and various other fighting disciplines while Slade on the other hand is a master of Boxing, Karate, Ninjutsu, Judo, Jujutsu, and has trained himself in the ways of Ninjas and has mastered other various assassination techniques. and finally when talking about Durability Cap has been thrown into a window by war machine, blasted by electricity, gotten shot in the leg, and was fine after being thrown into a car by a Cap robot and with Slade he's completely bullet proof, took hits from Bizarro, took a beating from Lobo, survived a massive explosion while weak, and has taken hits from Wonder Woman and just said "I can take whatever you dish out"(and Wonder Woman has held planets with those Hands) and that along with the Super Soldier serum means Slade can push himself longer than the normal human, and he's even a Healing Factor that has helped him survive from getting literally getting his Brain exploded. So in summary, this fight will be very long but in the end i think due to Deathstroke's Deadlier and wider Arsenal, and his healing factor i think that he'll beat Cap in a long drawn out fight. Also we have to take into account Deathstroke not being afraid to kill, Cap could kill you but Slade is going to kill you. The Winner is Deathstroke!

in lightning round 3 can u explain justice league vs avengers(obviously they main characters)? I'm pretty positive that justice league would win due to the fact that they contain more superhumans than avengers do.

I unfortunately knew the winner even before I had the video opened. I could point out that Cap has been show adept at defeating people with a much higher strength level, and people who rely on ranged combat, but I'm not sure if that would make that much of a difference in (as the term is used) 'synergistic' concept.
Truth is Cap's my #1, I find it very disheartening to see him lose so often and so soundly. Although in this case- I would argue that since Cap can Beat Batman, and Batman has beaten Slade, then Cap COULD beat Deathstroke, even if it was a small % of the time.

Let me just end this bias Deathstroke stuff. Personally speaking, Yes! Deathstroke is one bad ass son of a bitch. But, boasting about Deathstroke and downplaying The Living Legend (Captain America) does not give someone a victory. Now, we talk about healing factory. How the fuck is this fight won then? KO, Death?. I mean if you gotta wait half an hour for a man to heal then resume battle. That's bullshit. So let's throw that out the window. Speed and strength. Captain America has went head to head with Spider Man. And yes, Steve Rogers held his own. And In no way form or fashion is Deathstroke faster, stronger, quicker, or more reflexible than The Web Slinger. Let alone Hulk or Thor (In terms of strength). So kill that argument. Martial prowess. This will be the true essence of the battle. They are both Masters. Killer instinct advantage goes to Deathstroke. But that's only a will to win. Not a way. If Caps as is on the line, you think he's not gonna match the intensity level. Let's be real about this. Combat experience goes to cap. Due to age and fighting everyone in the world. He stood up to Thanos for crying out loud. So in better understanding. The Super Soldier has way more battle valor and fight experience in general and with opponents that can outclass him in terms of speed, strength, etc. feets. With that being said, stop kissing ass people and truly evaluate this battle on the true facts. And not the fact that Steve or Slade is your next door neighbor.
One other thing... deathstrokes weapons count for nothing.. he has fought dr doom who is a walking arsenal, iron man (i don't have to say anything about his weapons) winter soldiers who has more weapons than brain cells, the entire SHIELD core in the helicarrier, and so on and so on.. also deathstrokes strength would count for almost nothing... cap has fought THOR to a stand still and has also put down the hulk using pressure points. Heal factor... did we forget that due to captain america's metabolism and cell regeneration rate he was frozen in ice for 50 yrs and survived... where was that mentioned. All in all, i like your videos. I watch them a lot. I think maybe more research should be done and get exact numbers or maybe a rating system. by no means am I a fanboy, I love DC heroes/villains, just would like them to be more impartial. I am tired of seeing "batman beats the world" all the time
Slade being stronger shouldn't matter. Cap has beaten foes like Mr. Hyde and Rhino unconscious and they are 50 times stronger than him. Another aspect of Cap that wasn't taken into consideration is his indomitable will, the man just refuses to lose. Kurt Busiek once said that if Cap were a god, he'd be the God of Winning!
OK... Grant it that slade is super badass.... and has all those cool skills and attributes.. but i believe Cap was kinda downplayed. Yes his physical appearance is that of a human at max potential... his agility is that of an olympic athlete x10.... His strength is what was downplayed.. I have read comics where captain america flips up armored humvees weighing at least 2.5 tons over to use as a shield... I have seen him break metal weapons with his bare hands (ie. .50 caliber machine guns, shotguns, and other various metal weapons) He has smashed through brick walls one after another and another and so on... so I would guess slade isn't that strong. Also, captain america is adept in all forms of martial arts known to man. So his fighting skills far exceed that of any normal human and his reflexes are beyond that of a human. He can dodge bullets at point blank range. His mind and reflexes are SO fast that he can be fighting multiple foes.. lets say 20 for arguments sake.. while fighting tossing his shield without even looking, and calculating in his mind (without looking) where and how many bounces it will have before it lands back in his hands soon enough to block an incoming attack from other assailants.. He also has kind of a combat sense (kind of like spiderman, but not as potent) which he uses when fighting more than one person to predict movements, calculate strike points, and to find pressure points to incapacitate opponents... why weren't these facts put into this video? Just curious.
***** me and a friend of mine for years have had numerous heated disputes concerning a battle between Ghost Rider and The Spectre. Both are known as "The Spirit of Vengeance" but from opposing comic companies and opposing sides (Ghost Rider essentially being the devils bounty hunter and The Spectre being Gods chosen). I'd love to see your thoughts on this :)
