He runs at 30 mph that's not at all impressive compared to a Spartan.
Also Captain America has had broken bones before so would likely suffer broken bones in either Gen1 or Gen 3 MJOLNIR armor.
He could however wear Gen 2 armor tailored to him. Which Gen 2 armor is generally tailored to the individual.

    • @John2r1
      @John2r1 11 месяцев назад

@alexanderglass2057 The comic version was actually stronger than the MCU movies version.
Also, the MCU version doesn't explain how the serium works in the first place.
Another point with the MCU is that Captain America struggles to fight Tony, aka Ironman. Who is just a human in an exoskeleton made of titanium.
Master Chief unarmed would rip Tony apart as would any other Spartan in the time it takes Tony to blink.
And that's not a joke. Spartans are described in the lore as being a blur of slashing motion when in combat.
" On the top of the bunker, John was a blur of slashing motions. A second guard’s exosuit erupted in a fountain of hydraulic fluid and then collapsed under the armor’s weight.
The last guard on the bunker turned to fire at John. Halsey gripped the edge of her chair. “He’s at point-blank range! Even stun rounds can kill at that distance!”
As the guard’s gun fired, John sidestepped. The stun rounds slashed through the air, a clean miss. John grabbed the weapon’s armature - twisted - and with a screech of stressed metal, wrenched it free of the exoskeleton. He fired directly into the man’s chest and sent him tumbling off the bunker. The remaining quartet of perimeter guards turned and sprayed the area with suppression fire.
A heartbeat later, the lights went out.
Mendez cursed and keyed the mike. “Backups. Hit the backup lights now!”
A dozen amber floods flickered to life.
Not a Spartan was in sight, but the nine trainers were either unconscious or lay immobile in inert battle armor.
The red flag was gone." - Halo: The Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund, pp 88-94.
That was at age 14 just after augmentation. Those trainers were in Mark 1 exoskeletons capable of running at thirty-two KPH, lift two tons, and have a thirty-millimeter minigun mounted on self-targeting armatures with the latest motion sensors and IR scopes. And needless to say, their armor is quite impervious to standard light weapons. It would have taken two or three platoons of conventional Marines to take that bunker.
Spartan 2s at age 14 took it within minutes of starting their attack.
There were a total of 9 guards in power armor with 30 mm miniguns.
So picture Tony's war machine suits minigun mounted on a more heavily armored exoskeleton. And the Spartans were unarmored and unarmed.
So in either case Captain America would have major issues using either Gen 1 or Gen 3 MJOLNIR without extensive augmentation that the serium simply couldn't provide. However with MJOLNIR Gen 2 the armors systems can be calibrated to suit his physiology.
Essentially, Captain America would be physically an equal to a Spartan 4 in some regards.
What is said about the serium in the MCU is that the Super-Soldier Serum was developed during World War II as a top-secret experiment by Dr. Abraham Erskine. The serum was designed to enhance a person's physical and mental attributes to their peak potential.
Peak potential means the peak of their human potential.
An absolute peak human in theory can lift 1.5 tons.
However in the MCU Captain America runs 26 mph comfortably and sustainably. The 'Fastest Man Alive', Usain Bolt, clocks in at around 28 mph for his 100 meter sprint. Sprinting, Steve could easily surpass 40 mph.
According to official Marvel Database, Captain America's full limits of strength is lifting up to 1,200 lbs with maximum effort.
So there's your physical stats Captain America can sprint 40 plus mph and lift 1,200lbs according to the MCU.
Compare that to a Spartan who can run at 60 plus mph and easily lift over 3 tons unarmored. And you start to understand why MJOLNIR Gen 1 or Gen3 which use the same movement system, would rip Captain America apart. However Gen 2 armor was made for Spartan 4s which unarmored are closer to Captain America's stats.

Peak human could have varying descriptions, peak human could be what an evolved/advanced human could be when the human body and mind are tuned to maximum potential, or it could just be peak all round athlete like how Batman is often described. We are capable of making some rather strong individuals right now, but there would detrimental side effects, look at individuals who pump steroids making themselves really strong but slow/lumbering and putting a massive strain on things like their hearts, they often die of heart failure quite young. Peak human could just means all the pluses without any of the detrimental side effects.

Due to Cap's unique augmentations it'd be interesting to see what kind of armor he'd wear. On the one hand his insane natural speed could be improved with specialized armor making him a complete speed demon. On the other hand, his reduced healing ability may cause him to need additional protection compared to the average spartan.
Also because of his below average vision for a spartan he may get issued some form of spartan grade "glasses" integrated into his helmet and that sounds hilarious.

I'd honestly be curious to see what additional augmentations Steve Rogers would need to shore up the differences between him and the spartan 2s. It seems he more than meets the musculoskeletal requirements, but since he lacks the neural lace and many of the less physically impressive sensory augmentations, I'd guess he'd need to start with some pretty invasive surgeries which his enhanced physiology would allow him to survive with impunity.
Additionally, I'd be very interested in seeing Halsey's reaction to Steve being dumped in the Halo universe and being inducted into the spartan program. In the MCU, we have proof that using Steve's blood, the US was able to reverse engineer the original supersoldier serum, so I have no doubt that Halsey would be able to replicate this feat. We don't have any data on how it would work for people who aren't Steve Rogers, but, if he isn't an anomaly, it's conceivable that the serum would produce a higher rate of success than the Halsey method. But then again placing them in the same universe hardly works because if humanity had achieved a Super Soldier during WWII the Spartan program would have been far beyond anything we can even begin to imagine by the 26th century.

      @tmac2744 Год назад +1

Green Arrow (Oliver Queen), could be either an Orion candidate, or a Spartan IV. He could even have been one of the baselines that the Orion's and II's were measured against, physically and genetically, if he predates the program. If later, his acquired skills would make him a valuable asset to any Spartan IV team, though his mouthiness and lack of respect for a chain of command would probably prevent him from being considered for either program. In short, I would think he would likely be a proto-Orion Candidate.
The Punisher is DEFINITELY a Spartan IV, based on his background. While a case could be made for him being an Orion, similar to the one above for Green Arrow, his combat background would fit better with the IVs. In fact, a Punisher aimed at the Covenant and/or forces that are working to attack humanity would be an interesting idea. Getting him going would be no problem. Getting him to STOP would be.
As for the Republic Commandos, it would entirely depend on which time frame you are pulling from. The Clone trooper versions would best fit in with the Spartan IIs. The Commandos seen during Episodes IV-VI probably fit better with the IIIs or IVs, and the Commandos post Endor MIGHT fit the Spartan IV category.
Just because, Mandalorians would likely fall in the Orion category of Spartans, especially with Jango Fett being the final genetic selection for creating the Clones.

I would like to point out in terms of bone density that there is a bit of inconsistency within the MCU pertaining to the super soldier serum giving enhanced bone density. John Walker who was the second captain America actually had his left arm snapped relatively easily compared to the feats that Steve Roger performed. It is said that the serum Walker took was an even more enhanced version that Steve took which made Walker stronger, faster, and more durable than Rogers was. Thankfully you only looked at Steve’s feats rather than Walker’s but it still goes to show that the MCU is inconsistent with its power scaling for durability and strength of super soldier serum users

The possibly horrifying idea is giving a Spartan the Super Soldier Serum after their initial augmentation; I think that that would require a while new advanced class of Mjönir Armour. Also, missed detail is that Cap's overall mental facilities and senses have been greatly increased, it's never specified by how much, but obviously enough that he never needs tech assist and easily calculated angles on the fly.

Because Captain America is already strong enough without armor to rip a car door from its car (in Captain America: The First Avenger, right after he gets augmented and is chasing a hydra terrorist through the streets), as well as kick a truck into an enemy hostile on the opposite side (somewhere around the beginning of Captain America: Civil War), he either is already strong enough to wear MJOLNIR armor without being crushed by its compressing effect, and/or already is stronger than an armorless Halo spartan. A spartan can bench press around 870 to 1,160 lbs without armor on as it says they can carry four times their own weight. Master Chief is 290 lbs without the armor on, so you can do the math from that as to how much he could lift without wearing armor. WITH armor though, it’s 870/1,160 lbs times five in GEN 1 MJOLNIR armor (not sure what it is with GEN 2, and what it is with the new GEN 3).
But anyways, 870 to 1,160 lbs is pretty strong, but I don’t know if that’s strong enough to rip a car door off (also, real life Patrik Baboumian is so strong that he can bench press 1,350 lbs, which is insane, and if Patrik isn’t the strongest man in the world then I don’t know how much the strongest man in the world could bench press. Does this mean Baboumian could withstand the compression effect of the MJOLNIR armor? If his muscles are this strong then his bones must be too, or else his bones would already be causing too much stress and crushing on his bones). I’m not sure if this about the Spartans is correct, but this information is what I remember learning when I looked it all up.
