    Its the mix that does it for PSV this year. Everything seems to fit. Benchplayers perform very well whenever they come onto the pitch. Hardly any weaknesses. And a down to earth coach and captain keep everyone in line. Never wake me up, letsgoooo PSV ❤!

    As an American I’m just happy to see Tillman, Pepi and especially Dest doing well at PSV cause it gives me hope for the future for our national team seeing our guys playing well in Europe

      They've all played an important part! Tillman has been very good the second half of the season and PSV already triggered the buy-out clause to keep a hold of him. Unfortunately, Dest will be out injured for a while so his spell at PSV won't continue for now.

    I think Branthwaite also deserves mentioning in the beginning for leaving. Last season loan, key center back who certainly was more important than other leavers like Mwene or even Guti. He would have played 16 games beside boscagli this season if Everton's asking price wasn't that high...

    • @themondayleague
      @themondayleague  9 месяцев назад +2

      True, Branthwaite had a great season last year! And he's now showing his qulaities at Everton. I left him out because it was impossible to get him really, he has been regarded as one of the biggest talents at Everton for years and there was no way PSV could afford him. And with Boscagli coming back from injury, they already replaced him. But he definitely deserves praise for his contribution so thank you for mentioning him!

    Good for PSV but ernest stewart leaving the US national team to the club hurts my countrys selection. 😢 Hope the best for PSV!

    I must agree that PSV has looked dominant in every game, you can't say they truly embarrassed Ajax. Ajax was the dominant force the entire first half, playing very good football, and they should have been leading 4-1 or even 5-1 at half time. However, they didn't and PSV's second half did embarrass Ajax. They did finish their chances.

      ajax played counter football that first half , it was long balls towards brobbey behind the back line that hurt psv. You're living in lala land if you really think ajax played good attacking football that day.

      This season it's been a different story. Doing very well so far! But yeah, he is definitely not a new Heurelho Gomes for PSV. But don't know if any goalkeeper will ever did what he did

    nah its the lack of competition, normally ajax and sometimes Feyenoord keep PSV in check but both of them suck this year. The rest of the teams are hilariously bad..

    • @themondayleague
      @themondayleague  9 месяцев назад

      Feyenoord had started the season better than last year when they won the title though. So they've definitely been a good competitor

    Psv is bigger and better than Club Brugge and the league is also bigger and better so i dont know what u thinking but come on😅😅

    • @themondayleague
      @themondayleague  9 месяцев назад

      I was talking from the perspective of Belgian media and football fans. They see Club Brugge at the same level as PSV. But I don't think they are wrong in believing Noa Lang could have gone another level up to the Bundesliga or La Liga.

    Tillman is way better than Til

    • @themondayleague
      @themondayleague  9 месяцев назад +10

      I would agree, Tillman just needed some time to adjust to a new environment. He's a very talented player, and there was no need to rush him. He'll do very well the second half of the season and he has a much higher ceiling. Til, however, has always been a reliable and effective player who performs well. So they are both great players to have in the squad!
