hello i am from italy and i am new student about petit Lenormand. i don’t speak very well english but i bought your books. i hope i can be able to read them
Hello and welcome to Lenormand! To read my books, you can use Google translate - a free app. You can take pictures of large sections of text and translate into Italian!
Its a lot of Lenormand card courses here, but I find yours and from one other lady the most insightfull. I have never enough of them! However Im suprised on popularity, I think that nowdays Lenormand is a new Tarot. I realy like people who work your job from passion and realy study the subject. Its not nice to see that someone has introduction into less then an hour course with words 'when you finish with waching this, you try a few times on friends or family...THAN YOU CAN START MAKING MONEY'. Dont like to hear that, disrespectful to people who are honest and hard working as you, thank you for sharing knowledge. ✨
Hello Barbara and thank you for your message! I agree with you and feel the same way about all of the videos that are promoting card-reading as a way to make easy money or get rich quick! If that's a person's incentive for learning the art of cartomancy, I wouldn't trust any of their interpretations! The magic of divination comes from the reader - not the pieces of cardboard on the table. With your attitude, you will be a blessing to many!! 💖
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 Thank you for your answer. I was doing futertelling as a profesin abt 20years ago, aft 12 years of learning. I stoped bc of religion, I studied (Catolic) Teology. On one hand we had great prof.who covered many subjects as kabla and numerlogy, on another hand from respect for God and whats right I stoped working. I want to belive, that maybe God wanted to me some more life expiriences bf I work again. Wish you nice hollidays ✨🍀⭐
Bless you! This was so helpful. I began lenormand because i heard it can be more specific than tarot so here i am. I am a very beginner and i am grateful for this video! Thank you from my heart.
Hi Lisa, thank you for your video's. They are really helpful! 😀 I'm just wondering if you can please tell me in what order you lay out the cards in the cross spread? Do you put the first three cards out from left to right and then place the fourth card above and the fifth below? Or maybe the first card you draw goes in the middle? 🤔 I'm just not sure what to do here and hope you can help me clear it up.
Thanks for your comment and question, Sharine! I generally lay the box exactly as you say, left to right and top to bottom. The only time I lay the center card first is if I'm laying the spread with the center card as a focus card (I may choose to preselect it or not). The important thing for you to understand is that YOU decide how you'll lay the cards. The Universe doesn't care. You simply have to decide ahead of time (what we call setting your intention), and stick to it so the cards know how to fall. That's why I always lay the cards out the same way. So that Spirit and I are always on the same page. I hope that helps.😊
Hi Lisa, thanks so much for the video! Your guidance is super helpful and I learn so much! A curiosity though, in sequential reading, should mirror technique be used? i’m starting to watch all your videos from beginning so my apology if it has been addressed in newer videos!
You're very welcome! 🙂I don't mirror when reading a narrative line because you're reading it as a comic strip or story. I mirror in descriptive lines with a center focus card because the surrounding cards are describing the center. Whether or not your mirror is just a matter or preference and you set your intention beforehand as to how you'll interpret the cards. That's how the cards know how to fall. Does that make sense?
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 yes, that makes perfect sense, thank you for replying! I find mirroring adds minor detail to the storyline and helps further clarify the main storyline so I’ll continue practicing that and applying it to my reaching techniques. I really like your approach of setting the intentions tho! Before I would struggle so much from reading from different sources telling me to read a spread a million ways and end up with a various stories that don’t match 😂
Like your explanations, though it would be great to keep the cards in view without interruption with hand movements covering the cards so we can concentrate and analyse them while listening.
Thank you, Miss Dee! You can read my full story in my book which is linked in the description box above. Short story is that when I began my spiritual awakening, I went to a Shamanic practitioner who connected me with my totem animals and ancestors. She told me that to connect most efficiently to my psychic/intuitive abilities, I should use something that I'd hold in my hands. I tried psychometry and was able to receive messages but it didn't feel right. Then, I discovered tarot cards and I knew I was getting closer. When I found Lenormand (it actually found me), I knew the search was over!
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 That most be a great story, cant wait on a book. You cant get it in my country, luckaly Im very close to Austria, so Im working on it. Regards from Slovenia 🇸🇮
Hi Lisa! Does it matter in what order you place the cards on the table or just visualizing them in your head before spreading them is enough for them to gain their importance in the reading?
There's certainly a reason why so many - especially new readers (not you) - are drawn to a PPF. It's because you're giving the cards a directive - all of you who sit to the left will show me the past, all of you who fall in the seeker's column will show me the present, and all of you who fall to the right will show me the future. For me, it's generally too limiting as it forces me to interpret all the cards outside of the seeker's column as not being part of their current story, which isn't really the case. Our past, present, and future aren't sequential, but continuously move spirally. For this reason, you'll see some future landing in the past, past landing in the present, and present landing in both. There's also the issue of the seeker falling in the first or last column. I read for the present, future, and past, but not in the same spread. I'm just too hooked on MOD! LOL
In the cross layout, do you just start at the top with the one card and then three in the row and one at the bottom or must it be done in a certain way?
I've got a few cross-spread videos and I show how I lay them out in at least one of them. It's really up to you - just tell the cards where you're going to put the card before you select it. I start with the center card and then add the right, the left, the top, and the bottom. I always do it the same way so I don't have to stop to think about it.
Keep watching my videos - you'll discover that I didn't learn with "combinations" and I'm not a fan of them. Any two cards can offer any number of meanings depending upon proximity, card order, and the context of the reading. For more info on vertical interactions, check out the 5-card cross videos. I'd watch the Core Series first. ruclips.net/video/KYksLcmgnCI/видео.html
Yes! You're the first one to notice that I only mentioned personality characteristics and didn't include the physical descriptors. I didn't even know I left them out because no one else mentioned it. Physically, the Mountain and Anchor would say that she's heavy with a stable build. She might have a large head and serious expression. That combo leads me to believe that she's also older and established so probably has white or gray hair (under the hair color!). You just gave me a great idea for another small-spread video! Thank you, Strumpet42!

You can shuffle, choose the cards, and lay them out in any way you'd like. So, yes, visualizing it in your head first is all you need to do.
